Raleigh Mead is a first class Care Home. Our Dad was there for over 8 years and he and us experienced the care on all three level and without exception I can honestly say the staff and the care Dad was given was exceptional
I have highly recommended Raleigh Mead to several friends who were looking
to place a Mum or Dad and would recommend again without hesitation. My Dad had to stay at several care homes and Raleigh Mead was his final one and by far a much more professional and caring home and I couldn't have wished for a nicer place for him to be and for us to visit.

My dad was a resident at Raleigh Mead for a short period during which the staff worked hard to help him overcome his mental challenges to give him the confidence to participate in varied activities and the ability to communicate again. Unfortunately after a short stay in hospital, he returned to
Raleigh Mead for end of life care. Throughout this time Dad was treated with care and compassion, and our family felt welcome and cared for too. The home has a lovely calm atmosphere and his last few days were truly peaceful. Our family are truly grateful for the excellent care provided by the whole team.

On our first visit to dad I just wanted to take him home... This was all new to us and I hated it. On visiting him a couple of days later, it felt very different... The staff were so lovely. There have been times that I've got so upset and they are very supportive and kind. Most importantly they are
kind and caring to dad and his needs. He seems content and has started to settle well. He engages with all the activities daily which are varied. So far, all has been positive since he has been there. The staff have been fab in every way.

Raleigh Mead is a friendly and caring home. As soon as you step in you are greeted and welcomed by the reception staff. Most of the staff are friendly and cheerful. My wife has been resident here for two years and has been well treated from the outset. I was kept informed by the staff about her
well-being, with weekly phonecalls about her weight and other health issues.
The activity staff are very good and, even though she cannot manage the outside trips, she is involved with the activities such as singing.

The care is very poor and the food was appalling They don't have enough staff to run efficiently so patients are waiting for a long time for care ect the cost is very expensive for the amount of care and attention you need. We have now moved to a different nursing home and if you compare the two it
is like one is one star and the other one is five star totally different. I wouldn't put my dog in a place like this. My partner was in here for about a month and the manager didn't go and see her at all. We didn't even know who the manager was.

My mother was a resident at Raleigh Mead for around 2 years until her passing last month. The care provided was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. I never had any worries whatsoever. I was kept very well informed on matters of mum's health and well-being. I visited mum 2 - 3 times a week and
witnessed how much mum was respected and always treated with dignity. The staff and management are first class; they showed genuine affection for mum and our family. I remain indebted to them. Thank you.

My dad spend 2 years at Raleigh Mead in that time he received outstanding care he always looked clean and smart, he laughed with the staff and enjoyed his food! The staff were outstanding they loved and cared for him as if he was their own dad. In his decline towards the end of his life he was
treated with love, compassion and skilled professionalism. I was comforted and treated with respect at all times. The staff are outstanding and a credit to the manager.

My stay at Raleigh Mead was excellent from April to November when I was able to leave as fit as a fiddle. I went there with only a few days left to live, but thanks to the wonderful care and my God's answer to prayer, I was able to leave after only 7 months. At home I can now do washing up, ironing,
shower myself all thanks to Raleigh Mead.

I cannot speak highly enough of Raleigh Mead Care Home. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and always go above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable and well-looked after. The facilities are clean, and the atmosphere feels like a home away from home. My loved one has been
treated with the utmost respect and kindness, and it's clear the staff are dedicated to providing personalised care for each resident. There is always something fun and engaging happening, whether it's activities, outings, or special events. The sense of community at Raleigh Mead is heartwarming, and I have peace of mind knowing my family member is in such good hands. I would highly recommend Raleigh Mead to anyone seeking a safe, caring, and positive environment for their "loved ones."

When I visited a member of staff spent lots of time being patient and encouraging to help my dad eat his lunch even though they were very busy. I find all the staff very helpful and caring towards my dad at all times. When we visit we are always made to feel welcome and supported. I would like to
thank them for everything they do.

So lovely to spend some time with Mum in the lounge this morning. The visit from the nursery children was wonderful and we enjoyed singing nursery rhymes together. Great to see Mum so happy and relaxed, she clearly has a close bond with the staff who are all very caring and friendly.

My wife receives 24/7 excellent nursing and general care from a wide range of friendly staff. She is also encouraged to participate in a range of activities as allowed by her condition. She eats a balanced diet and is very satisfied with the standard of meals. The accommodation is comfortable and
clean.

I have been coming to see my husband at Eastleigh for approx one and a half years. I am pleased with the care he is getting. The staff in general are polite, kind and caring. My husband appears to be happy here and has remained quite well. I am asked if I am not happy or wish for any different care
or treatment of my husband.

Quite outstanding. My partner is being looked after and cared for absolutely brilliantly. She is as comfortable and content better than she would be anywhere else. The staff, without exception, are patient, dutiful and compassionate.
Every aspect of this care home is immaculate and I simply cannot
understand why the CQC has not graded Raleigh Mead 'Outstanding', it is rightly deserved.

The care home was beautiful with friendly staff who engaged well with my grandad and gave him the best care we could ask for. He really enjoyed his stay there and enjoyed his trips out to the moors to spot the deer. Thank you, Eastleigh.
