View full details of St Antony's Care HomeThis was my aunts second respite stay at St Anthony's and I couldn't of asked more of Sharon and all the staff and Elizabeth as owner, the kindness they showed not only to my aunt but to us as a family gives us such a peace of mind, each time I visited she looked content, she was safe and extremely well looked after. If you are looking for a warm, caring home away home for your loved ones this is the place.
My mum has been at St Anthony's care home for just over 2 months. Moving her was a tough but necessary decision due to her health decline. She has complex needs and can be difficult, but the staff at St Anthony's handle this well. Before moving, she was falling weekly, stopped eating, and felt very lonely and depressed. Now, she has her appetite back, gained weight, and is surrounded by caring staff every day. I feel reassured knowing she is safe. The staff are attentive and always available if she needs help. She receives regular visits from the local doctor, and they arranged a chiropodist and ear syringing for her. The caring staff truly make this home special; their genuine care makes all the difference.
Our dear friend was looked after with the utmost care and kindness. The staff are absolutely lovely and treat all their residents with dignity and respect. Our friend was very happy living at St.Antony's which was 'home from home'.
Thank you to all the management and staff for the kindness and care shown to my father-in-law during his last days and to the end-of-life team who visited him at St Antony's. They all ensured he was as comfortable as possible and spent his last days with people around him which was lovely.
My experience of St Anthony's Care Home is that the house is a little worn. It does not matter. My husband did not notice or care about that. Not important to him. He was there for three years throughout the lockdown. They meticulously cared for their residents during this time and kept them safe from the virus. The most important thing I want to say though is that the staff and the atmosphere are second to none. It is a very caring and loving place. He was lucky to have a placement there, and I am grateful for the sterling work the staff did.
