View Full Details of Beechmore CourtBeechmore Court has been the most comfortable home we could have wished to find for my dear aunt, for the last three and a half years. She has been looked after beautifully for all this time. It has always been a warm, welcoming home with a lovely caring and reassuring atmosphere. The staff have been kind and proficient, giving their care with love and confidence and adapting without any fuss as needs have changed. Communicating with her had become more challenging as her sight and hearing deteriorated but they found ways to manage it. The staff look happy to be doing their important and demanding work, noticing and willingly doing that little bit extra for the resident and the visitor. Communication between the home and relatives has always been excellent. The activity programme is varied and designed to be able to include everyone who wishes to join in, residents and visitors alike. My aunt has been settled and content here. I am very glad that we found this lovely place for her
Beechmore Court is an amazing community. Dad felt at home as soon as he walked in the door. The staff are so attentive and caring. Dad enjoyed joining in the variety of activities and is very complimentary about the food. First class care home.
My mother has been cared for at Beechmore Court since December 2024. We have been warmly welcomed from day one, the attention to safety, comfort and well-being are outstanding. The necessary adjustments to my mother's needs are taken care of seamlessly and I am kept informed about anything to do with my mum. Management and staff are professional, friendly and dedicated to providing quality care. The care home offers a range of engaging activities and social events, encouraging residents to stay active and connected, invitations are always extended to the families of the residents. Having my mum looked after so well is a blessing and a relief.
I spend the last night of my father-in-law's life at the care home this week. Everyone from the carers to site staff and absolutely everyone were very kind, caring and compassionate towards him at the end of his life. The care they gave to my father in law was first class and although he had been in the home only for a short time, they all knew him and were clearly interested in him as a person. The staff were so caring at all times. 5 days before he passed away, he was doing karaoke at the Easter party having a great time. We were given lovely pictures from that event and we will treasure them forever. The way the staff related to me was lovely and they went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after too. When my father in law died, everyone went above and beyone to care for us and they were very compassionate, caring and considerate and treated my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and I with utmost love, respect and care. We are so grateful my father in law got to spend his last 3 weeks in this beautiful home.
Mum has been resident at Beechmore Court for 6 months now and is receiving the best care possible. My sister and I are extremely happy that mum has settled into her new home, the staff are kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is encouraged to join in with as many activities as she would like, we're pleased to say that she likes them all, in particular the social events. Mum also enjoys the food at Beechmore Court, she had lost her appetite but now she looks forward to her meals again. A truly lovely care home.
Mum is a permanent resident at the Beechmore Court for almost a year now. Everyone was so caring, understanding, and welcoming from day one, when mum began her stay and when we as a family were trying to adjust to mum's, and the family's, new situation. Staff and management have consistently given a high level of care, attention and compassion to mum and her challenges. They have taken care of her with patience, understanding and genuine concern for her health, welfare and wellbeing. They ensure they keep us updated on everything relevant about mum. Family are welcome to events/activities and we have attended a number of them and had lots of good times with mum, even though she might not fully realise who we are. There are activities every day for her to participate in and they really care about providing stimulating and enjoyable moments for residents. There is genuine kindness shown, and our family has peace of mind that mum is being well taken care of. That means so much to us.
A very friendly, pleasant and well-maintained home with excellent activities for residents and very helpful staff. My mother was a resident at Beechmore Court some years ago and my good friend is a resident at present, so my assessment is as an "outsider" but I have no hesitation in stating my observation as the ratings.
The staff are very helpful and treat my mother with dignity and kindness at all times. I feel that they try to bring a smile to my mum and are dedicated to the well-being of all the residents. They keep me informed of any matters relating to my mother's care.
When my mother first moved into Beechmore Court from hospital, she was warmly welcomed by staff and residents. She has been given good and kind care and she is back to her old self again and is very happy in this home.
My mother arrived at Beechmore Court in December 2023. Since then, my mum has gradually improved in health. She is walking better and mixing well with all the other residents. They have a very engaging programme for the residents to join in with. The food and refreshments are great. As a visitor, you are always made very welcome and there is a fabulous friendly feel when you enter. We, as a family, are very pleased with the way our mum is being cared for.
My mother required a short respite stay, following injury due to a fall. The head of the home was very patient with us when making arrangements, as a lot of the first contacts were through email and phone, and we had a lot of questions to ask! Admin staff were also very quick to answer any of our queries and the overall admission process went smoothly. All the staff gave a very warm welcome and created a cosy, friendly environment. Visits could be made (and were encouraged) at any time during the day, including young children. Within no time Mum felt relaxed and at home, and made friends with other residents. Food was very good (... even had a surprise birthday cake!) A minor medical issue was dealt with immediately. Although obviously happy to go back to her own home, she was sad to say goodbye to everyone at Beechmore Court.
Possibly because of its size, Beechmore Court is like walking into a large family gathering. The atmosphere is very friendly, professionalism, and always to hand. Any worries or concerns are always dealt with, and suggestions are made. Medical situations are dealt with as soon as the NHS allows. Minor discomforts are dealt with straight away. I would be happy to be a resident.
I find the home to be very friendly and there is always someone willing to help. All the residents join in with the activities and there is a great sense of community. Residents are known by all the staff and this gives a homely atmosphere.
My mum, who I have lived with for the past 23 years, came to live at Beechmore in January this year. She is so settled and happy and has made some lovely friends. She particularly enjoys the activities that are put on each day and thoroughly enjoys having her hair done each week. The staff are absolutely lovely; they are kind and make her feel safe and secure. Mum loves that there is a little church service on a Sunday afternoon each week. Our family can call in to visit whenever we want to and are always made to feel welcome. My mum is truly settled and happy at Beechmore - thank you so much.
Beechmore Court is well staffed, who are exceptionally friendly and caring. The garden is well maintained and attractive. The home provided a warm and safe enviroment that undoubtedly assisted with my recovery.
My mum has been in the home for 8 months. She has settled well and seems contented. She was a little apprehensive at first but now says it's better than I thought it would be. The home has a lovely, lively, friendly atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. There are group activities arranged most days and residents can choose to join in or not. I feel she is well looked after and they do listen to residents' requests. She has been on a few outings organised by the staff and we take her out for an afternoon for family events. I feel her health, physically and mentally, has improved and she seems happy.
Staff are friendly, kind and caring. I always feel welcome to visit at any time.
The home is pleasant, and the staff make visitors feel welcome and are accommodating. The residents are looked after and are contented. It is clean and gives a good impression. The live-in rooms are a little sparse and not quite "homely". I feel the Dementia/Alzheimer patients could be given more specialist support commensurate with their personal hygiene and needs. Quite obviously, the cost of somewhat prohibitive and rather a shock nationwide, hence a satisfactory rating is given for value for money.
From the preparation before admission to the care, communication and compassion that we’ve received since, all are clearly visible at Beechmore Court. It’s a tough time for my mum and for us but the Beechmore Court team have been a great help.
The home is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The home seems to have a more than adequate quota of staff. There seem to be many activities for the residents to be involved in. What little I have seen of the food seems excellent. I would like to be more involved in knowing how my friend is from day to day but I don't really see how this can be accomplished. I would also like a copy of the week's activities emailed to me. When I tentatively asked for this I was told to take a copy of the list but if I don't visit until a Thursday then the week has gone and it's another job for them to do when they are already busy. I really appreciate what is done for my friend and am really grateful that such a place as Beechmore Court is there for her.
