My uncle had been in Houghtons a number of years and had been shown excellent care and understanding. This included days out in the minibus and his wheelchair. His keyworker really got to know his specific needs and what he liked and followed up on medical issues as needed. We were always welcomed
as a family when visiting and involved in decisions. His key worker even gave up a day off to make sure he attended a hospital appointment showing real commitment and care.
