View Full Details of Littlefair Care HomeOur friend came straight from hospital and was warmly welcomed by all staff and made to feel comfortable and at home in a new environment. She has settled in really well even after only a few weeks and is happy and thriving.
My mum has been in Littlefair since March 23. The care she has received has been exemplary. She is loved by all the staff and is well cared for. She has dementia and is progressively getting worse but it is so nice for me to see her happy. My mum has friends since moving into Littlefair and is no longer lonely. The leadership is strong, and someone is always available to chat if you need them. The food is outstanding and the activities provided are creative, stimulating and fun. The reception team are kind and welcoming. If I need a care home when I am older I hope it's as good as Littlefair! Julie (daughter of resident)
I am full of praise for the excellent and special care all the staff offer my wife. Despite her occasional 'rant' she is very happy at Littlefair and takes part in all the arranged activities. I join in whenever I can, especially with my now 'famous' shirts.
Very informative on how Mum is settling in. Very clean and nice smelling. Treated with great care and respect. Lisa asks me mums likes and dislikes & how to handle her personal care. Food is excellent, I have had lunch with Mum in the visitors area. Manager Michelle always has time to speak to you, very professional. Reception staff always answer the phone promptly. Very homely feeling place.
My review is for the total period, ie.nearly 3 years that my mother has been resident at Littlefair Care Home. I was recommended Littlefair by a friend whose mother was staying there. I am so pleased that I accepted her recommendation. It's clear that my mother is very happy where she is, and this is in no doubt due to the amazing care of both staff and management. Mother has Alzheimer's ( the long version) but even so responds to the care and cheerfulness of the staff. The staff are lovely and so caring. I am so pleased that she is there. It's such a friendly, calm atmosphere with plenty of activities and is clearly run by an excellent management and administrative staff. Thank you Littlefair.
My mother has been in the care home for 3 years and I cannot fault the exceptional care she receives. All of the staff are amazing and the home itself is so welcoming and homely. They all treat the residents with great care, dignity and compassion.
A fantastic team lead by Michelle the manager - a real case of excellence must start at the top, for it to inbue the whole organisation and be felt in a direct and meaningful way by those that need it most, my mum amongst the many others. Caring for the elderly and needy is one of the hardest and most important jobs in society and all the staff discharged that care with kindness, amazing patience and humour. I love the ethos that Littlefair actively encourages it to feel like a home from home, both in the communal spaces and private ones. Relatives are welcomed with open arms and offered support if needed, with the much appreciated communication channels always there and open, a feature that is sadly missing in many alternative organisations, but a unique feature here at Littlefair and a conscious management decision I am sure. My mum would love to be in her own home, but would one hundred percent endorse Littlefair as an amazing and very close second, a showcase for 'good practice'.
My sister has been a resident for five and three quarter years. Her life has transformed since living in Littlefair. It has given her purpose motivation and a deep appreciation of all that is given by staff and infrastructure. She calls this her forever home.
Such caring staff, always going above and beyond for all the residents and also their families. The cleanliness is good the choice of food is amazing. The activities are all so varied and engaging for the residents. Could not fault Littlefair, it is the best.
Littlefair is a lovely friendly residential home. The care staff are very caring and accommodating. Residents are treated as individuals and their individual requirements are taken into consideration when being cared for. Very active list of interactive activities, with residents being encouraged to participate. I am very happy with my relative's care at Littlefair.
My mother moved into Littlefair when she was discharged from hospital. Sadly, she was only there for 6 weeks before she had a stroke and passed away on the 15th April. While she was there she was looked after with compassion, respect, love and good humour. She felt safe and was confident that if she needed assistance with anything or simply needed company there were always carers around, willing and cheerful to help. Littlefair feels like a home not an institution and my only sadness is that mum did not have the opportunity to enjoy more time at this very special residential home.
