Tudor lodge has provided my father in law with excellent care. I have found all the staff to be friendly, approachable and very caring. The personal care provided is exceptional and appropriate for my father in law's increasing needs. I am impressed by the standard of meals produced by the Tudor
Lodge chef. The menu is varied and a choice is always provided. My wife (his daughter) is always notified about any concerns the staff may have regarding his health or needs.

My grandfather is a resident of Tudor Lodge Residential home. I cannot thank the staff at this residential home enough for the outstanding care they provide my grandfather. From the moment he arrived, he was treated with genuine kindness, dignity, and respect. The team and management go above and
beyond to make him feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.
The staff are not only professional and attentive but also incredibly compassionate, always taking the time to listen and care on a personal level. Communication with our family is excellent, and we always feel reassured knowing he is in such capable hands.
The home itself is clean, welcoming, and well maintained, with a warm atmosphere that makes a difference. I am deeply grateful for the love and dedication shown every day. I would highly recommend this residential home to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one. The food provided is also absolutely delicious and to a very high standard.

My mother has been at Tudor Lodge for roughly 8 months now.
From the outset,when I had to choose a care home for my mother,I knew Tudor Lodge was the place for my mother.
I looked at several care homes in the area and Tudor Lodge was number 1.
It is an absolutely fantastic care home,attention to
detail, looking after their residents needs.
Every single day they are doing different things for their residents,you can not ask for a better place.
I would be happy living there tomorrow.
All the staff are brilliant,very caring in what they do.I can honestly say I have not seen one member of staff with an unhappy face,they are all truly amazing.
Also Chris the manager an absolutely caring person,running a stressful environment,always has time to talk to residents and their wishes.Also very interactive with family.
The food at Tudor Lodge is also fantastic,with the different varieties that are produced every day.
All in all you could not ask for a better care home absolutely fantastic.

Well what a find, this is a home from home.
We viewed a number of care homes, and this stood out above the rest, nothing is too much trouble, the staff are amazing, always a warm welcome when we go and visit.
The food is absolutely amazing, this is care home I would like to go to.
It's small and
cozy, just like home.
Activities every day, - bingo, pamper days, singers, film night, and many more and also outings to local events.
Summer fate and Christmas party to raise money for local charities.
A wonderful care home.

This is the best care home I have ever been involved with.
My Father in law was previously a resident here and recieved care above and beyond expectations. The staff here are amazing and take real pride in the service they provide, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is amazing, they have
various entertainment every day so never a dull moment for residents, days out and more.
Needless to say when my own mothers deteriation of dementia required her to have care, there was absolutely no question where she would go.
I have absolutely no worries about her wellbeing and state of mind being a resident of Tudor Lodge. I haven't seen my mother laugh so much since my father passed, she loves everyone who works here and are constantly interacting with eachother.
I only write black and white reviews so don't sugar coat anything, if you are looking for a placement for a loved one you will not find a more professional home than Tudor.

My lovely friend was in Tudor Lodge through this summer. She had a beautiful room, newly decorated and furnished, and absolutely spotless. She could bring her own items to make it a home from home, and had help on hand to put up pictures or whatever she wanted to help her feel cosy and at home.
Carers were always quick to attend should she need them, and it always felt like she was really cared for and safe there. Everyone I saw with her was very genuine, and also very interested in her. She always said how lovely they all were while she was there.
I was often there when her food was brought up to her room, and it always looked and smelled delicious. Beautifully presented, and clearly lots of care put into the cooking, presentation and menus.
The staff were always friendly and welcoming, lots of activities are put on, and it feels like a really lovely atmosphere whenever I was there.

Tudor lodge and the amazing team provided exceptional care for our Grandma. From the day she moved in until she passed away. All the way through they have been kind and compassionate. End of life care was above and beyond. They always welcomed us with a smile. They treat residents with respect,
always something to do. We can't thank the team enough for how they looked after Grandma. I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge for residential care.

It's a big decision, practically and emotionally for someone to decide they need to move into residential care. My mother was so very lucky to find Tudor Lodge. Her room was fantastic, spacious and bright with a large ensuite and overlooking the garden. She was able to personalise her room, even
bring some furniture and paintings, and it was so good for us as the family to see how happy she was and how quickly she settled into her new home. It was perfect because there was always an activity she could join in with or just relax in her room. The staff are wonderful, kind and attentive; and Chris, the owner and manager, is always on hand and ready to help in any way he can. The standards in every aspect are very high. We cannot praise Tudor Lodge enough, and knowing that the last part of our mother's life was spent in such a professional yet warm and caring environment has given great comfort to us as her family. We are so grateful to everyone for making my mother and us feel so welcome.

We are so grateful for the wonderful high standard of care my mother-in-law received during her year at Tudor Lodge. From the time she arrived in June 24 to her passing in June 25, at the grand age of 102yrs, she received wonderful care from all at Tudor Lodge. She loved the activities, arts and
crafts, wonderful visits from the playgroup children with interaction, music & song. The entertainments from opera to pop. She also enjoyed the quiet times of privacy in her beautifully appointed room, with ensuite facilities, and a lovely view of the front garden. My mother-in-law enjoyed her food but was particular about various ingredients, however, the chef catered for her individual taste, preparing dishes to suit. The Manager and every staff member, are wonderful, catering for every need, they are always compassionate, attentive and friendly, they know regular visitors by name and welcome everyone with warmth. Finding Tudor Lodge was a godsend, I highly recommend it to anyone.

godmother is quite particular about her preferences, and the staff cater to her every need without hesitation. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. It's clear that they genuinely care about their residents and strive to make each day enjoyable and fulfilling.
Finding Tudor Lodge has been a blessing . The warm and welcoming environment, combined with the attentive and friendly staff, has made all the difference in my godmother's well-being. I highly recommend Tudor Lodge to anyone looking for a compassionate place to care for their loved ones. They have truly set a high standard and we are so grateful for all they do and continue to do.

We cannot recommend this wonderful residential care home highly enough. What began as respite care, obtained in a panic, soon became full-time after we realised that Dad could no longer live alone. There is so much warmth and care in this home from all the staff - everyone was welcoming and their
work ethic is humbling. The respect and feeling they have for all the residents is so clear, like a huge family. I had been dreading the idea of Christmas with Dad in a home but I didn't need to - what amazing celebrations and fantastic food. He was never lonely. The weekly entertainment programme is brilliant, so many activities and great singers/musicians. And we have been so impressed with the cleanliness and the beautiful garden. Dad was so well cared for at Tudor Lodge and it was devastating to leave but he is at the stage where his dementia requires more specialist and secure care. An old friend of Dad's said "Well you fell on your feet there - what a place!" I couldn't agree more.

Tudor Lodge is a wonderful care home. The manager runs it so well, assisted by an excellent team of staff, most of whom have worked there a long time, which tells you a lot.
My dad was a resident for just over seven weeks, following hospital discharge. He received care with kindness, compassion,
dignity and - above all - love. Nothing was too much trouble and were never made to feel we were in the way, despite visiting practically every day, which is what we promised Dad.
Tudor Lodge itself is warm, clean and comfortable (with no nasty smells!), the food is excellent and an extensive programme of activities and visits is laid on for those who are able to participate. My dad celebrated his 94th birthday there, and the chef made a beautiful cake for him to share with the other residents, something they do for all. We were so happy and fortunate the manager had a room for Dad in his hour of need and we would not hesitate to recommend you visit to decide for yourself.

This is the second time my mum has stayed at Tudor Lodge for respite care following a stay in hospital. I cannot praise the owner and his staff enough for everything they have done to make it possible for my mum to stay with them. The staff are all so friendly and caring and make you feel so
welcome. The care home has such a 'homely' feel and they cannot do enough for the residents and visitors. I would highly recommend Tudor Lodgr to everyone.

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Tudor Lodge for two and a half years, in all of this time she has been very happy and we couldn't ask for better care from all of the staff, they all genuinely care for the residents and do their utmost to keep them happy and healthy. The food is second to
none and they keep the residents entertained. We feel this home is an absolute gem and you would go a long way to find another home as excellent.

My grandmother spent her last years at Tudor Lodge and I feel very fortunate and grateful that she ended up there. The place is faultless in all the basic ways (cleanliness, facilities, food, etc) but also goes above and beyond with its genuine warmth and family atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to
recommend them to anyone looking for a thoroughly well-managed place for their loved ones that really feels like home.

My aunt was a resident at Tudor Lodge for 13 years. She suffered from type 1 diabetes and other health issues, mainly linked to old age. She, at times, was not the easiest person to deal with, but the staff were very patient with her and over the years formed an excellent relationship. Also, she
could be very fussy regarding her diet, but again with care and consideration by the staff her dietary preferences were always catered for. Nothing was too much trouble for the carers to make her feel comfortable. During the COVID lockdown, the running of the home was severely disrupted, but because of the professionalism of the staff and in particular the manager we were kept informed of restriction rules. When it was safe to do so family and friends were allowed back in to visit and always took precautions by wearing masks and hand sanitizer was always available. We could not have chosen a better home for her very clean, caring and professional.

The staff were excellent, both caring and admin/executive. The caring staff were very efficient, kind and reliable including administration of medication. The admin/executive staff were very helpful, responsive and efficient. The home was clean and warm and there was plenty to do for residents. The
food was really good and my mother prospered during her respite visit. I really cannot recommend the home more highly.

My dad had to go into care in June 2023 due to his vascular dementia. He'd been given respite before going into full-time care. The first care home he went to was awful and as a carer myself I saw red flags and refused to leave my dad there. Then he went to Tudor Lodge, and what a difference. The
home is superb. It's welcoming and clean, staff and management are professional, friendly, and so caring toward my dad and the rest of our family. The food is amazing and my dad is fed extremely well. He's very settled at Tudor Lodge, which is key to his condition. He knows the routine there and loves all the staff. He always looks clean and smart whenever I arrive to see him. I'm very happy with the care my dad receives at Tudor Lodge which is 1st class.

Lovely comfortable home. My mother-in-law has just stayed for 2 weeks respite, this was a return visit and she loved it just as much as the first time. The staff are amazing as is the food.

My father was a resident of Tudor Lodge for two weeks respite care. He found it warm and comfortable and was very happy with the excellent care given by all the staff. He especially enjoyed the quality and variety of the meals provided. He was also able to occasionally take part in the regular craft
and entertainment sessions that were offered. The manager and his care manager were happy to discuss Dad’s needs and kept me up to date with any changes in Dad’s condition. It was very reassuring to know that he was happy and so well cared for, thank you Tudor Lodge.
