The whole staff took care of my mom very well...
The manager is very nice and understanding to my mom.
Taz went beyond to accommodate my moms needs..
Very nice service for short stays and long stays.

My brother spent a week here recently he's been here a few times before and i can recomend this place for respite care.The staff especially Taz looked after him and kept me informed on how he was doing. I will be using this place again i the future.

Mom's had a lovely experience here for 2weeks she has enjoyed it that much she doesn't want to leave but would highly recommend and the staff kal and manager Andrew are brilliant definitely will use again

Was nervous at first about putting my brother here due to some negative reviews, but after 2 months I have to say he has settled in so well, he so well cared for!! The food is fab, he has his own room which is great, and the most important thing is the carers they are fantastic, he loves them, Taz
and Andrew and others go above and beyond, they gave him clothing and goodies so very kind and good natured, good people make a good home. Plenty of activities like dancing, shopping etc, if my brother is happy then I am. Thank you doesn't seem enough for the hard work they do, but thank you it is.

My nan has recently attended a respite period at the facility, I would like to thank them massively for the way they have cared for my Nan in her time with them. The staff have all been amazing with frequent updates on my Nan's activities etc whilst on her stay. It has really been a pleasure to see
how happy she has been whilst away considering as a family we were really concerned heading into this as she doesn't usually settle away from home. Honestly could not recommend this facility any more than I already do! Excellent work by all involved.

My Nan has Alzheimer's and she was placed here for respite care. The staff are all brilliant, they regularly send photos and videos of the activities my Nan is doing and how she's getting on day to day. We are also able to phone and speak to the staff or to my Nan at anytime, which I think is
brilliant.
Within a few days of my Nan being placed here, we noticed her opening up more, talking more and being more open to taking part in activities that she normally wouldn't want to do.
My Nan can be a picky eater (she also had diabetes) so the staff have ensured she's eating things she likes and will enjoy whilst also keeping an eye on her diabetes.
Overall, I'm super impressed by everyone I've spoken to from the care home and how much they genuinely care for the people they're looking after. It's never nice to have to place someone you love in the hands of strangers, but seeing how lovely everyone is and how caring they are has made it all so much better for our family. Thank you all!

The staff here genuinely want to help you. Very kind and trustworthy. I have spoken to a couple of members of staff who were more than willing to help. My brother was looked after here with kindness. Thank you to you all.

I cannot put into words what Grassmere Care Home have done for me and my sister. My sister (is/was a resident of their care but at the moment she is in the care of the NHS as she has become so poorly in time I would like to think she would be able to come back to Grassmere because they are all
wonderful to my sister and also myself.

Each time I visit Grassmere to see my ex-husband (separated 17 years but still legally married) I am made very welcome by the kind caring staff, the way they care for my husband is truly kind and compassionate and they all show great patience and understanding with him, albeit sometimes can be more
difficult than others. They don’t just leave him to sit and pass his time alone but encourage him to join other residents for meals and watching TV etc. They always make me aware of anything he might need before I visit so that I arrive prepared regarding sundry items or extras. His laundry is done for him and they keep a check on making sure he is eating and drinking enough fluids etc. They administer his medication as instructed by the doctor and are extremely tolerant when perhaps he’s not keen to take it, also they make sure that when the hairdresser comes he can have a haircut and the same goes for podiatry!

My son has been twice for respite, I can't thank them enough, the caring and dedicated staff make him feel at home.
They take him shopping. He has been involved in gardening and lots of activities.
My son has learning difficulties but he settled well and always looking forward to the next
respite.

Based on my brother's experience he says he likes it and that is good enough for me.
He likes the people and he likes the staff.
He likes the activities that happen within the care home and also the staff help him with his day-to-day care.

Since my dad has been here the staff have been amazing keeping me informed on appointments and his well being keeping him active and doing fun stuff there's always something for them all to do from cooking, watching movies, dancing and singing going for walks or just chilling. The room and
facilities are just right for him all I have to say is they are doing a great job going above and beyond to keep everyone happy.

I would recommend this home always. They are lovely and take time out for all. Very caring and always keep you up to date on their progress. They treat you like family and take time out to get to know the person they looking after. Thank you again.

Grassmere has been an excellent place for my uncle. The staff are very friendly, efficient and are effective communicators. I am very happy with the help and support they have provided from day one, and I believe my uncle appears to be very happy and can see the progress he has been making since
coming to Grassmere.

My mom was at Grassmere for two weeks for emergency respite. The staff were so kind and genuinely cared for the residents. My mom was very settled there and I had complete peace of mind that her care needs were being met. Each time I visited she was looking well and happy. The staff couldn’t do
enough for us and were always welcoming. I felt like they understood our needs and they helped us through a very difficult time as a family.

This care home provides an excellent care and support to my brother, who has been in this care home for the last few months. The manager and his staff provide an excellent service at this care home to residents.
