View Full Details of Orchard PlaceMy fifth year of spendingbreaks here . During this we had some of the hottest days recorded during which the staff maintained their usual high standards of care with cheerfulnes above and beyond . I was spoilt for choice of things to do -learning origami -I need more practice ! Superb food with my new dietetry needs provided on request . My daughter managed a holiday as well .Looking forward to my next stay.
I have come to this home for a trial run with the view to spending respite care in the future and I have been most impressed with my stay that I would be happy to return at any time. I truly cannot find fault with a single thing. All my visitors have been most impressed with the standard of freshness, cleanliness and friendliness of all staff. I have to admit I was quite apprehensive before I came but lost that on arrival.
I have always found Orchard Place, Leadon Bank to be of the highest standard of care.
Amazing home for those in need of care. Treated as an individual and with respect. Always clean and tidy. Friendly professional staff delivering the highest standard of care. Cannot praise the service enough. My mother was always happy here and made the later months of her life some pleasant ones.
My father has lived in one of the flats with supported, daily care for a number of years. He is very well cared for, with shopping, cooking, cleaning and personal needs all taken care of. He is happy there and the carers are all very kind and friendly.
My father is a resident - he lives in a flat to enable him to live independently. He has three care call visits on a daily basis. When well enough he goes to the canteen midday and eats a well balanced tasty meal - he also has pudding! He has a multitude of health conditions - probably the most challenging is his dyspepsia. His health has been failing and particularly this month he has taken a turn for the worse. The staff have gone over and beyond what I would ever expect. At all times they deal with my father in a caring, professional manner keeping him safe. They listen to him and work really hard to understand him. Nothingis too much trouble. They keep me informed at all times and encourage me to be part of Dad's life - I feel we work brilliantly together to enable my father to have the best possible quality of life. My Dad considers where he now lives as his home which to me speaks volumes about the care he receives and he is very happy.
