View Full Details of Meadow's CourtWhat can I say this home is brilliant dad has settled really well and considering he did not want to go in every one from manager down to cleaners are always so polite even to resident, they inform me promptly of any problems could not ask for better care, they even organised his 90th birthday party for us.
Meadows Court is a wonderfully welcoming home. My mum has settled in very well and is receiving brilliant care. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm very relieved that she is in a warm and caring environment. Nothing is too much trouble and we feel part of a big happy family. The menus are varied and nutritious providing for all tastes and dietary requirements. There are lots of fun and interesting activities for the residents and family members to participate in. We couldn't be more pleased.
My mother is happy. She does complain and her complaints are always dealt with. Her biggest complaint is about the food but she is full of praise for the carers. I like the manager because she will generally make time for you and answer your questions. My mother's room is pleasant and cleaned every day .It is a little cluttered but that is mainly because she is immobile and cannot tidy things away herself. There are plenty of activities which seem like good fun and a range of trips out for those who wish to go. Mother enjoys the visits from the local vicar and since the church was a big part of her life this is greatly appreciated. She also values the visits from the hairdresser and pediatrice. Basically she enjoys the personal attention.
My overall impression is that of a caring and supportive environment for my relative. I always feel welcome, I have been made aware of any health issues and they are treated accordingly. GP visit every week and staff update me with all the updates. The overall standard of the home is very good, it's a very clean home, with no smell. I'm very happy to recommend Meadows Court to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.
My family were so worried when we realised my grandma had to go into care due her dementia, but Meadows Court have been absolutely incredible. They have taken such wonderful care of my grandma and have taken a huge weight off my mum and her sibling's shoulders. My grandma is happy, well fed and has such attentive care every day.
My mum moved in December 2024, all the staff were friendly and treated her with care. Unfortunately, Mum passed away recently but they showed her so much care in her last days and also showed the same to me and my sister.
My relative is very happy in this home. The staff are always willing to discuss matters and are always professional and helpful. I have visited other care homes and this care home outshines them all. There are good activities which are varied and something for all residents to take part in and enjoy. There are also good links with the local community. I have peace of mind that my relative is well cared for.
Very happy so far with Grandma's care.
My mum was only with Meadow's Court for a short time before her death. All staff were friendly and supportive and showed Mum the respect and care she needed even through her final hours. The staff were all fantastic with us too and other family members. Always made us feel welcome whilst visiting even letting us take the dogs to visit mum as the dogs were her babies.
I went to visit my friend. She was in good spirits. The option was there to check her eyes. Hopefully, she will have new glasses soon. She seems well cared for at the home. The staff are very nice.
My mum has been a resident since July this year, she has taken a little time to feel at home. All the staff have been very friendly and helpful, we joined Mum at lunch today, the meals are very tasty and enough for the residents, they are able to have a drink and snack at any time. The home is very clean, fresh and tidy, mum is quite happy there and feels quite at home we speak to a few residents who are very friendly.
My aunt moved to Meadows Court Care Home this year, she is very happy with the care she is receiving. The home has so many different activities to keep everyone entertained. Any time I visit she has her nails done and looks very presentable. The food is delicious, all meals are home-cooked. The staff is hardworking and kind, they always take the time to come and speak to us and give updates. The home manager is available to speak to us if we have any questions. Thank you Meadows Court.
My friend was looked after very well for the first three of her four-week stay. She has dementia and can be stubborn. She fell out of bed and I was told that there were no injuries. The manager was on holiday for that last week of her stay and the care was reduced greatly. When I took her home she had a large wound on her right knee, a cut on her left shin where the bone was exposed and both heels were necrotic. Her clothes had all disappeared and she came home wearing someone else's clothes. Unfortunately, she is now at end of life.
Meadow's Court seems a nice place to live. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, they work very hard but always have time for a chat. Food looks lovely and very nice menus. Well done to all staff.
My mother was 90 at the time. Went into the care home at the end of May. It took her a couple of weeks to get used to home but she really enjoys it at the home now. She likes the food. She has 3 meals a day now, previously only eating two when she lived on her own. She finds all the staff very friendly and likes talking to them. Myself I found the staff friendly and I find it is very clean and doesn't smell as opposed to the home my dad was in.
Since in new ownership the home has much improved. It is cleaner, the previous 'urinal' smell has now gone shortly after new owners took over. Thank you for giving the home an uplift. The rooms look a bit tired but appear comfortable. The staff are welcoming and kind. Thank you for your hard work.
Very good overall. The only problem, which I don't think can be resolved, is that they have to wait a long time to go to the toilet due to all wanting to go at the same time. Also some have to use a hoist. Activities are great and they have time for each person. Very good!
Happy with staff.
The staff are nice and friendly. My sister gets on well with them.
When I visited my mum on Thursday, 20th June, 2024, it was a very hot and sunny day, and I expected to find a fan in my mum's room, but there wasn't. My mum was saying that she was hot, despite both windows being open, so I had to go and ask for a fan to be put into my mum's room. It had been stated on the TV that it was going to be hot today and the day to follow, so I thought that fans would be put into the residents' rooms ready for this hot weather. Also on this visit, I found my mum to have sick all on her blouse she was wearing and sick all down the bed sheet; I don't know how long she had been like this for.
