Since mum moved into Longridge Hall towards the end of last year we have been so pleased and impressed with the level of care and support provided - both to mum and to us as a family, helping us all to navigate this transition. We have found the staff to be friendly, approachable and very welcoming
at all times
The home recently underwent a significant re-decoration and the new lounges provide a warm and welcoming setting. We also like the ability to use smaller, more private lounges if there a few of us visiting at once.

My mother has been a Resident Service User at Longridge Hall for the past 6 months. She did not consider that she needed residential care but is now settled and accepting of the care provided by the staff who are ecellent at providing the care that residents need and are good at forming indiividual
rrelationships.which is verry evident in my mothers case.
The standard of accommodation is first class, the communal areas having recently undergone refurbishment. Rooms are of a decent size and are all ensuite providing residents with privacy.
Daily activities are open to residents that are varied and at a level accessible to all.
Meals too are very varied and of a high standard, well recieved by the residents.
In conclusion this is a care home of the highest standard with exceptional staff.

After the first 3 months at the home my wife appears to be well cared for and we have been very pleased with our choice of home.
The home is well maintained and provides an attractive and comfortable environment with caring and attentive staff.

Mum made her own decision to look for a care home as she didn't like living alone after my Dad died and at over 90 felt that she wanted more permanent support in her daily living. She visited Longridge Hall for lunch and to spend the afternoon with some other residents, joining in with the
afternoon's activities. She was made to feel very welcome by both staff and other residents so after returning home she soon made the decision to put her name down for a room at Longridge Hall. She has been a resident for just over a year now. She has settled in well, has a nice room, and has made friends with other residents. She particularly enjoys the opportunities for trips out in the minibus. The staff look after her needs perfectly while respecting and encouraging her independence. She is still able to enjoy outings with the family which the staff also encourage. She knows she has made the right decision.

It was a difficult decision for mum to move into a care home .but for her safety, and wellbeing it was the right choice. She has now been at Longridge Hall for 8 months and settled in straight away. The staff are absolutely wonderful with her -the care, attention and kindness they show is truly
amazing. They've also been incredibly helpful and supportive with us, nothing is ever too much trouble, we are so grateful for the peace of mind this has given us. We would definitely recommend Longridge Hall to anyone looking for a warm,caring environment for their loved one.

My experience as a relative is largely positive. I feel the care given to my father is caring and appropriate. He informs me he is happy where he is and feels he is comfortable with the care given although he does inform me that at times he does feel lonely.

Friendly staff, clean bedrooms and en-suites and communal areas.
My Mum could do to have the staff remind her every day to change her underwear, as no laundry seems to go in her laundry basket in her room.

Excellent care. Friendly approachable staff. Lovely atmosphere. Kind caring and attentive staff. Excellent food. Good activities. Good communication with me and mum. Good monitoring of mums health - spotted deterioration in health and sorted medical attention

My husband has been in Longridge Hall for nearly 12 months. In the that time his condition has deteriorated quite significantly. Despite this the staff still go out of their way to meet his needs and ensure he retains his dignity.
Staff are very aware of the individual needs of all residents and
treat everyone with respect.
The staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are not only well looked after but also cared for.
The home respond's to changing needs and puts measures into place to ensure safety of all residents.
My husbands personal care is taken care of and he is always clean and well presented.
Despite his advanced dementia and lack of communication he is still valued and every effort is made to keep him happy and smiling.
I am very happy with the way the staff are so caring, kind and compassionate with all residents.
I choose Longridge Hall for my husband and I am still happy with my choice after almost a year.

Very welcoming staff when U arrived, dad being well looked after and he seems well settled. No issues with his surroundings and all the staff are very helpful. Home and dads room very clean and well looked after. All in all a very good care home.

My dad came to Longridge Hall to look round, he was made to feel so welcome by one member of staff in particular and to my surprise he said he wanted to stay. And he has settled really well which is down to the lovely staff and caring environment. This all makes us a family feel we have made the
right decision.

I am thrilled to share my experience with Longridge Hall, in Longridge. The staff and facilities are truly amazing. The care provided is second to none, ensuring that every resident is treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Special mention goes to two staff members who consistently go above
and beyond their job descriptions. Their dedication and kindness make a significant difference in the daily lives of the residents. The environment is warm, and welcoming, and feels like a true home. From the excellent facilities to the exceptional staff. Longridge Hall stands out as a beacon of quality care and community spirit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

My mum went into Longridge Hall for dementia care in December 2023.
The level of care has been incredible, not only the support offered to my mum, but also the information provided by the care home staff.
There is a warm feeling when you walk in and you can see that the staff do all they can to
meet the complex needs of the residents.

My mum has been at Longridge Hall since 2022, I have always found the staff approachable, helpful and very friendly, senior staff and management have maintained high level of communication. Mum is always happy and well cared for.

My relative was fortunate enough to be offered a room when she became unable to live alone at home. This move, although reluctant, has proved to be a great success. The care has been exemplary. The carers remember her visiting her sister when she was a resident. This has given pleasure and
reassurance that she is an important person. She is treated with great dignity and gentleness. The chefs visit her each day to ask what she would like for meals (she has Irritable Bowel Syndrome and has to be careful what is eaten). This kindness is greatly appreciated. I have found the office staff to be friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about my relative's condition and keep me fully informed. I cannot recommend Longridge Hall highly enough.

Mum has been in Longridge Hall for a while now, I have a great relationship with the lovely staff and always feel I can voice any concerns with the management team. I am very impressed with Mum's level of support with personal hygiene showers/bathing etc. There is a good variety of activities for
each resident and we love to help with the jigsaws in the quiet lounge.

We couldn't be happier with the care given to my Father-in-law at Longridge Hall. The rooms are lovely, all with private en suite, staff very caring and knowledgeable, variety of homemade meals, activities, entertainment, trips out etc. The staff are like extended family, they know each resident
really well and can tell immediately if one of them isn't 'quite themselves'. Communication is great too, which is very important when you aren't with your loved one all the time. I'm very comfortable asking questions, the staff are very open and helpful and regularly go above and beyond. We are very happy and lucky to have my Father-in-law in Longridge Hall for his senior years where we know he is safe and cared for.

When I first came to Longridge Hall I was apprehensive and wondered what it would be like. I quickly discovered that all staff members were both cheerful and most helpful. I feel all staff deserved a gold star for the care provided. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone who needs it,
I would be very happy to return when needed. The room was exceptional very high standards, very spacious and had its own en-suite with wet room shower. I also had room service until I got used to the home.

Some staff are excellent and the support from the local nurse practitioner is outstanding. The activities programme was good but seems to have all but stopped. The downstairs dementia unit needs refurbishing.

Longridge Hall have been caring for my Grandad for almost 2 years. He started out on the main floor and has recently moved to the dementia unit. The care he has received has been outstanding. Longridge Hall has be come my grandads home and the staff his extended family. He is happy here. Not only
this but the support our family have received from the team, managers and medical assistants has been great. He has always been treated with respect, fed well and had had two lovely rooms. There is no where else that we would want him to be.
