The staff treat mental health support work like it's an odd job because it's basic wage. They'll employ anyone to look after people with complex medical problems and they don't understand that there is a person at the heart of it which care homes are supposed to know about. Anxiety is through the
roof due to the constant pressure put on patients to get a job. It's difficult to sleep and therefore it is difficult to be on time for mealtimes. The kitchen is closed between midnight and 6am so if you get hungry then there is nothing you can do.
