View Full Details of Belgrave Court Residential Care HomeStaff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and caring. There is alot to do and residents love to join in.
We've just had a really productive family meeting with a good number of people attending. Some good suggestions made including making use of volunteers to support with activities etc. Let's hope that we see some of these suggestions put into practice. I have few concerns about Mum's care - she's happy, safe & thriving.
Belgrave Court are a great example of a quality care home. There is not a high turnover of staff. The carers genuinely care about mum and they really 'know' mum. The carers work very hard - any understand dementia & are kind & caring There can be flaws operationally but management listen & act. I am pleased Mum is cared for, listened to & seen
My mum was placed in the care home, due to unable to care for herself. I have found the staff are always, friendly, helpful and caring. They try to keep me up to date + informed on anything I need to know. She is safe, fed and bathed + taken out. I don't have any problems or concerns about anything with her while she is under their care.
Overall the home is very good in everything they do.
Dad came into Belgrave Court November 2024 from the start the staff have been wonderful. Helped him settle in well and sorted out his needs great. They look after him very well, all members of staff have been lovely and we feel very happy when we came to visit and cannot fault them well done!!
I visit the home regularly visiting a friend. I always find the home beautifully clean and fresh. The staff and manager have always been polite and courteous. They always make time to come over and have a conversation and explain what's been happening with my friend. I can not speak highly enough of them all they work so hard in such a demanding environment. The manager which I find remarkable always goes out of her way to come and have 5 minutes with me regardless of how busy she is. I visit a fair few friends in different homes and some of them are cold and heartless. I always feel welcome and safe here. Know when I leave I am leaving my friend in safe hands. I love them all and appreciate everything they do for my friend and her guests.
Amazing home with such caring and attentive staff. My mum has been here for a little while now and she's never felt so comfortable. The staff are incredible with meeting her needs and the activities they do with the residents are all my mum talks about! Making Christmas trees and tie-dyeing T-shirts have been her recent favourites. Truly cannot fault this home for all that they do.
Went to visit a friends family member and the home is amazing! Really lovely atmosphere, staff are so caring and compassionate! So many lovely activities the residents can get involved in. Highly recommend this home!
Placing a loved one in a care home is heartbreaking but with the guidance and advice from the staff, Mum settled in quite quickly. The staff are totally dedicated to the care of all the residents. At no point do I worry about my mum, I now sleep at night knowing Mum is safe. We looked at other care homes but we do not regret placing Mum here.
Recently had to place my mam in this care home, I was slightly apprehensive in doing so but I was greeted by the manager who was very reassuring and friendly. A few days later I went to go visit my mam and to see how things were going, there was a slight issue which the manager was very happy to help with. Staff look very happy and friendly and seem to be very professional, my mam seems to be very happy and comfortable within this care home. I'm very happy with the way this place is run and the way the manager gets involved with the care of residents. The place is clean, and tidy and has an amazing atmosphere. I'd 100% recommend this care home.
I visited my grandma who looked really nice and clean. She was happy playing games with other residents and pointed out members of staff saying they were really nice and she was asking them to come chat with us which was so lovely to see and showed me how well cared for she is. I took her some new clothes up to her bedroom which was so lovely and clean. I couldn't recommend a better home. The manager is a lovely person who always makes time for me and my family to give us updates and just have a general chat. She always shows interest in our lives other than just my grandma which is so comforting as it shows my grandma is well taken care off
Had the greatest pleasure of meeting an excellent manager who understood the residents' needs. The home was fresh and clean many updates were seen, staff on duty made us feel very welcome, refreshments were offered, fantastic visit.
This is a genuine review. Please do not put your family members in Belgrave Court Bridlington if they have any signs of dementia. They state they are dementia specialists, they are not. When my mum was showing signs of distress and agitation they went straight to the mental health team rather than do a test for infection, which it then turned out she had. She had 2 falls in the space of a week when they knew she was a falls risk. She had a six-week hospital stay and was quite poorly on returning to Belgrave, the manager told me she didn't think mum had long left to live, which as you can imagine was upsetting to hear especially as she has now improved immensely. When mum was agitated and distressed they sat her by herself in the conservatory so she could not see anything or anyone, not good for someone with dementia. I would not recommend this home.
Belgrave Court is a small cosy home with a superb team. I chose the home because of its size and the carers. They are a family and our loved ones are included. They strive to improve and are constantly training and learning. We communicate to give my beloved mother the finest care and support. The chefs are marvellous, the cleaning team fantastic and the care staff and manager superb. Mum is very happy and loves all of them and they love her.
I have visited the Belgrave Court Residential Care Home a couple of times recently, once for my mum's annual council visit and again last night for the Christmas meal. It is plain to see that the new regime has turned the place around from when my mum initially went in. The staff seem to have a great relationship with the residents and all seem very happy and full of friendly banter.
Since placing my father into Belgrave Court, I have seen a marked improvement in his mood and general health. He is well looked after and is loved by the staff. He is stimulated and by the same token, made to be independent. He appears to be happy and settled.
I went to visit my friend, the room was clean and nice. The staff were kind, caring and nice and he was treated with respect management was helpful and seemed caring about the home and living there.
The staff are courteous and kind and are doing everything possible to get Mum settled into her new home.
Dad started off in respite care and has now become a permanent resident. Always a bit wary of new places but the staff are brilliant and very attentive and always look after Dad superbly. Would very much recommend.
