My partner spent a month in a care home in Kendal, then came home. Later he needed to go into longterm care and had to go to Bridge House as there were no vacancies in Kendal. I am so glad that he did. Bridge House is warm and homely and with really caring staff. In Kendal, he stayed in his room
all the while. Here he mixes, sits in the lounge or by the fish tank in the hall (which he seems to like); eats with the others in the friendly dining area and sits in the garden on warm days. The staff are just lovely and nothing seems too much trouble for them. Sad and painful as it is to see him slowly deteriorate, I feel reassured that he is well looked after here.

looked after my mother recently i could not complain about anything the staff were wonderful . visited 2 a few times in my mothers ten week stay started too feel like one of the staff wouldnt hesitate in recommending this care home
