My father has been a resident at Hillcroft since November, after my mum suddenly died. He is sad much of the time and gets really agitated and restless. The staff are so incredibly kind and they treat my dad like a family member. He also responds to some as “kid” which is what he calls me and my
sister so it’s a real compliment. Although I’m very sad my dad is in a care home, I’m relieved he’s safe and grateful to the manager and staff for making it easier for my brother, my sister and all our family.
