Prior to living at Oaklands Mum had been living independently wtih minimal care. Eighteen months prior to Oaklands her health bean to decline resulting in hospital. On arriving at Oaklands she soon started to put on weight and became more of her old self and quickly fell into the routine. It was
clear from the onset there wa a very harmonious atmosphere between the residents themselves regaling tales and with so many visitors plenty of local gossip. This is how life went on with the staff, friendly and always at hand.

A pleasant building. The staff are all so kind, professional and helpful. They provide a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere. I'm very grateful that my wife is being cared for here. The staff need a lot of patience with my wife which they exercise admirably.

We visited a friend today who has recently moved in.
We were pleased and reassured to see she was looking well and very happy.
Staff greeted us and made us very welcome, they already seemed to have a good idea of what our friend likes.
Any queries we had they were able to answer fully.
The
home itself was warm and bright, rooms were a good size and nicely furnished.
