Our mum was a resident in Westlea from July 2021 until she passed away in late December 2022.
She was always an independent lady so it took a wee while for her to settle but she was eventually very happy. The staff were always very helpful and approachable and contacted us frequently.

My family member is in the home at the moment. I am so impressed with the fact that they have managed to keep the home COVID free throughout the pandemic. It's wonderful to know my mum is safe and well. Communication has been great and my mum looks well looked after. Well done to all the staff.

It took my mother a bit of time to settle at Westlea. Understandable. With the care and patience shown by the staff, she is now well settled in and taking part in activities. Her family are all satisfied with the level of care she is receiving. The Westlea staff are also very good at communicating
with me if there are any issues they feel they need to bring to my attention. I have also had several issues I needed clarification on with the home's remit and a team member in your Glasgow office has been extremely helpful in this regard.

In particular, the staff in the care home are attentive, caring, friendly and efficient. The accommodation itself is spacious and functional and the decor is pleasant.

I think my mother's review is coming up soon. I am very happy with the care she receives. She has deteriorated quite a bit in the last year and needs a lot of help. She is kept clean and tidy and is treated with respect.

I have always found the staff at Westlea to be approachable and committed to providing good care for their residents.
The staff always try to involve residents in all activities.
My mother has been a resident at Westlea for over six years and in my opinion, has been well cared for.

I have been consistently impressed by the standard of care at Westlea and by the hard-working professional attitude of the staff. The requests we have made have been dealt with well.
I was very trepidacious about having to use the services of a care home. Westlea's excellent standards have more
than assured my fears.

I have found Westlea to be a very good care home. The staff are friendly and I'm content my Mother is being well cared for. The home itself is bright and modern and I have noted that there seems to be a rolling program of re-decoration and internal improvements/repairs.
I would have given Westlea
a 5 star review apart from one thing. There is only one lift which can be busy at meal times and very occasionally it's out of service. Such a shame that a 2nd lift wasn't included in the design of an otherwise excellent care home.

Well run care home with excellent staff and activities for the residents. Rooms are good and general standard is high.
