Ashmead looked after my mum for 2 1/2 years. I couldn't have hoped for better care for my mum. All the carers were so friendly and kind. Ashmead is clean and bright, and everyone did their best to make a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Ashmead.

My brother (Brendan) recently received respite care at Ashmead. On arrival he was depressed and talked repeatedly about wanting to end his life. Whilst all the staff were excellent I would like to mention three members in particular who delivered so much care to my brother in a gentle, respectful
and professional way that on returning home this evening he was tearful at leaving them and the care home but importantly was talking about wanting to live for many years to come. Sadly this is unlikely as he is terminally ill but his psychological shift to one of happiness was thanks in the main to Omotayo (nurse) & Kashif and John (carers). Another person who deserves special mention is Probha who touched Brendan's heart with her great kindness. Thank you so much to all the staff and management at Ashmead as today you really made a difference to my brothers life and deserve acknowledgement which is too often missed. Every aspect of Ashmead was excellent.

Mum came to Ashmead in August. I have found that there are a lot of activity for residents. Exemplary care and lots to do for the residents.

My Mum has been a resident of Ashmead since January 2024. When she arrived, her behaviour was challenging to say the least. The teams, both inside and outside the home worked very hard to get Mum onto the right medication which they did in the end. The staff treat the residents well, their activity
schedule is always full, room's and communal areas are clean and tidy, and most of all, Mum is settled. She's in the best place she can be because as a family, we cannot give her the care and attention that she needs

I am totally satisfied with the standard of care my brother receives from all departments of he care home. I have another relative in a care home, with I now believe falls short in areas compared to the care my brother is receiving.

I visit my mum regularly at Ashmead Care Centre, I've found that the staff are warm and welcoming, I've always found the the place is kept very clean and tidy, the staff are very pleasant and accommodating, the manageress is very approachable, and professional, all residents are well kept and all
looked after in a professional manner and have a lot of time for other people's family family. Thank you, everyone, for doing what you do.

It is reassuring to know that my mom is in the place where she is well looked after. The staff are amazing, welcoming and respectful. Mom is kept clean and she looks happy. One nurse is very friendly and reassuring and excellent. They also have some amazing care staff.

My husband was very well taken care of in Ashmead.The staff were all v kind & patient & really understood his needs.The atmosphere was relaxed & friendly & .we were welcome to visit it him as often as we could.
He was comfortable in his room & enjoyed the food. Couldn't ask for more.

Since my wife has been in Ashmead I have no reason to complain, as everything is of good standard and all staff are always friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately from May last year, I have had to have my husband placed in Ashmead Care Centre. As a retired nurse myself I found this very difficult as I was also a dementia nurse and believed I was more than capable of his care which proved not to be the case. After 5 years of caring for him at
home, it soon became obvious that the time had come to have him put into a care home, finally, I settled on Ashmead Putney I could never have believed these people who run this home could have been such amazing people. They show empathy for both residents and families, the home is beautifully clean, I have always felt welcomed, I could not have ever asked for more my husband is well cared for their meals are amazing in beautiful dining rooms. The staff are gentle and caring. I'm kept informed of all his care and any issues, they go out of their way to make it feel like home management acts on any issue immediately thank you so much you are amazing.

I would like to thank you for the loving care everyone at Ashmead showed my husband and us his family. There was always an open-door policy and we could come and go as our timetables allowed us. Grandchildren visited with great delight and Gracie our dog was also welcome. This was all a special
bonus for my husband. The staff were always friendly and committed and showed a deep empathy. Considering the challenges of their profession it is truly impressive.
Thank you for looking after my husband during a difficult part of his life.

My Great Great Aunt recently celebrated her 100th birthday. The staff at the nursing home went above and beyond for her. Decorating her room with lights, balloons and an incredible cake. We really appreciated it.

Overall experience is good. The staff are caring, friendly and responsive. It feels safe and warm for the residents. However, the rooms and common areas need to be updated, furniture wise and freshened up/decorated. There should be more attention to the healthier food, more vegetable variation.
Management is friendly and approachable.

I find the home very good clean and the staff are nice I think my wife is looked after very well and can't find anything bad about the home.
