Placing our Mum, who suffers from Dementia, into care at Anita Dorfman House in Stanmore was one of the hardest decisions our family has ever faced. As this was our first experience navigating residential care, we were overwhelmed with guilt and uncertainty. From the very beginning, the
professionalism, kindness and reassurance shown by the nurses and carers has been incredible.
A special thank you to Patience, Harold, Pauline, Wanda and Linda for the genuine care, patience and dignity they show our Mum every day. Their compassion not only supports her, but also gives our whole family comfort and peace of mind during such a difficult journey.
Mum has only been there for a matter of weeks so far, but we genuinely cannot fault the care and attention she is receiving. Every member of staff has made us feel supported and reassured that we made the right decision. We feel truly lucky to call Anita Dorfman House our Mum's new home and are so grateful for the warmth, dedication and humanity

I moved into Pear's Court at the beginning of April and everyone said it would take me time to settle in.
Well 5 weeks in, I am more or less settled. My husband is in Anita Dorfman Grape Unit with Parkinson's and predementia. He settled quickly and is being well looked after.
I have met a lot of
people (not that I remember names) and not one person hasn't been welcoming.
Facilities are excellent - so many activities - I even get a fabulous weekly blow dry and there is usually a film once a week. Shul services also excellent.
Staff are helpful, patient and have time to say hello.
The new lady is happy!

My mother came into the home in February under difficult circumstances and has been handed with great care and dignity. The home is of excellent quality and the staff exemplary. A few of the junior staff seem to spend too much time on their phones. It would be great is there were some opportunities
to have trips out of the home: museums, places of interest, Brent etc.
