My partner of 28 years passed away last October after spending just over the last year if his life at Southborough. This was the 3rd time that we had moved him from the previous 2 homes that were fit for nothing! From the first moment my family and I stepped inside Southborough, we were so impressed by the facilities, the caring and kindness of the wonderful staff. Top quality, I would describe it as. The food was wonderful, cleanliness, the laundry was very good. The entertainment was carried out at a top quality. I refer to the staff there as my friends whom I will always be grateful to for their caring and kindness. Can't thank them enough.

Southborough Nursing Home is a lovely warm friendly place to be, both for the resident and the family. My Aunt has settled in there over the last 20 months and has absolutely thrived. She treats the nursing staff like her family and vice versa. When I visit I feel as if the whole place is hugging me and welcoming me in with so much warmth and love. I'm pretty sure this is how my dear aunt feels, too. I'm grateful that her later years in life are spent in the safety and love of this nursing home.

Mum has been a resident of Southborough for 2 1/2 years and is coming to the end of her dementia journey. The care, support and respect she is being surrounded by is so valuable and is what we have come to expect and truly appreciate. Southborough is her extended family and to be with her at this time where she has been so happy and cared for. He's wonderful. The support we have been given has also been appreciated and is a service and caring approach that will inform my fond memories of our time here. Thank you.

Amazing and compassionate care for our dad. So supportive, caring and compassionate towards the family at such a difficult time. Staff couldn't not do enough to make sure we were looked after whilst providing excellent care for Dad. You all made such a difficult time more management and it is deeply appreciated.

I have been visiting my friend for two and a half years and I have always been treated with the greatest respect. My friend is settled in here which is great. The activities are really great, the activity lady is wonderful, I have seen her at work here today and engaging healthily with residents.

Southborough Care Home is a wonderful place, set in beautiful and peaceful grounds. The management team is highly professional, and the nurses and care assistants are incredibly attentive and caring. What truly stands out is the inclusivity and creativity of the activities led by the Head of Activities, who ensures that every resident feels involved and valued. One of the most reassuring aspects for me is the regular updates I receive through the private MYO app. Seeing pictures and videos of my loved one engaging in various activities brings so much comfort, as it allows me to feel connected to their daily life, even from a distance. The home strikes a great balance between professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. It's clear that the team is dedicated to creating a welcoming, stimulating, and supportive environment for all residents. I feel confident knowing my loved one is in such safe and compassionate hands.

As a friend of a service user, it is incredibly fulfilling to see that my friend is receiving the care and support they need in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. The commitment of the staff to maintaining a high standard of care is evident in the way they interact with the residents, always prioritizing their well-being, dignity, and independence. It is reassuring to know that the staff not only provide essential support but also foster an atmosphere where my friend can live as independently as possible. They encourage personal growth, decision-making, and autonomy while remaining attentive to individual needs. Their approach balances guidance with respect, allowing my friend to develop essential life skills and confidence in managing daily tasks. Additionally, the environment itself is well-maintained, reflecting the dedication of the staff to cleanliness and safety.

This is the first time I have been in a care home, I was very impressed with all I have seen. My wife is for the first time very calme.

So pleased to see my dad settling well and getting to know his carers. Although he doesn't mix with other patients but he seems calmer in his own little environment. The home provides excellent care and staff are always helpful and friendly. The home always smells fresh and clean and kitchen staff approachable too for many of my dad's needs.

My husband has been at Southborough for over a year now! He is very comfortable at Southborough. We are blessed! He is looked after so well by all the staff who are all caring and always go beyond the call of duty. I would recommend Southborough Nursing Home anytime! A wonderful care home!

The lady I visit seems to be very well cared for by all the staff who are friendly and caring towards her. There are always plenty of staff around who are helpful and friendly when we visit. My judgment is based on a monthly visit. I am a friend of the lady I visit.

Southborough is a warm and friendly home, the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. If you have a problem, the Manager's door is open and ready to listen. The care staff and domestics are very approachable, friendly and helpful. They are very caring and professional to the residents, building lovely bonds of friendship and deliver excellent care. The activities provided to service users are great and the staff aim to include everyone. My mother-in-law says she feels safe, comfortable and her dignity is well-maintained.

Absolutely lovely so happy my mum got put in here. She is so much happier I can't thank you guys enough for everything you do. The communication is on point in the way you guys make sure Mum is ok and keep me informed as to her well-being. I'm really looking forward to the events you have coming up too. Entrusting my sister's care to a nursing home was a very difficult decision. The Southborough Nursing Home were wonderful from day one. A very tough day for me and my sister but the management, nursing staff, carers and other staff all rallied around to welcome us both and make us feel assured. My sister didn't settle well but with the help of the staff and the event's manager, she has started to enjoy the many things the home has to offer. Days out to the seaside, London and local parks. Lunches in the Southborough garden and making friends with others in the home. It is never a happy path having to place a loved one into a nursing home but the Southborough has made such a transition so much easier.

Excellent management, support and guidance to assist my father's relocation to the care home. Staff provide the right level of care needs for my father and work beyond to provide a comfortable living environment for my father. Nurses follow medical procedures without fail and ensure all medical needs are addressed timely. The care home is in need of upgrade/refurbishment to keep a modern and refreshed appearance.

The care home is welcoming and presentable but can do with some refurbishment. The staff and management are friendly and supportive. The food quality and variety can be improved. The rooms and furniture need a definite upgrade. The nurse's station should have a dedicated space.

I can say that I always felt welcome by the management and staff in Southborough Care Home. The staff are caring and friendly and do their best to look after all the residents, seeing to their various needs and concerns. It is a friendly place. I can recommend it highly.

Today my friend and I visited Fulham Palace with other residents from Southborough. Despite dreadful weather, cobblestones, and restricted corridors we had a wonderful time! The staff were so kind and thoughtful. Smiling despite some difficult situations, always positive and encouraging. This was a very special day for my friend and me and I am so thankful to the staff.
