Ive been very happy with all the care received. I have no complaints regarding Cherry Garden Care Home.
The management. and staff are both kind and caring, nothing is to much trouble when asked. They are very warm, approachable, they look after the visitors as well as the clients.

The whole team at Cherry Gardens is very professional and extremely caring. The home has such a happy friendly atmosphere. Treat the residents as individuals and met all the needs of each individual. Mum is always clean and respectable. Mums room is kept clean and tidy. All staff are very
approachable and update us and reassure us whenever needed.we are always made to feel welcome when we visit. Plenty of choice at meals times and go above and beyond to make sure mum has something she likes to eat. Thank you to the whole team for caring and looking after mum so well.

Our Mum was in hospital for a month , she was moved to Cherry Garden as a 6 week temporary measure, when the decision came that Mum had to be in a home permanently we asked if Mum could stay with them as we are so happy with the Home.
From the first time we went to look around as soon as the door
was opened we were greeted with a lovely smile and warm welcome (we went to visit without an appointment so they were not expecting us )
The lounge is a lovely large open area , they have activities everyday and really make the effort to include everyone.
If someone is unable to come to the lounge someone will go to their room and spend some time with them.
All the carers , nurses , chef /kitchen staff, management , domestics and maintenance staff are really lovely and approachable .
The staff ratio to residents is excellent , they always have time with Mum without rushing her.
They always take time to let you know how Mum is doing.
Mum is so settled and receives excellent care.

Cherry Garden was not our first choice of nursing home for Mum simply because of the traveling distance from family. So when Mum was admitted to Cherry Garden in April 2024 because her bed had been given away in another nursing home, the family had some doubts. However, we think everything has
turned out for the best. I visit three times a week and am kept in the loop about Mum's health. Every effort has been made by the Manager and her team to see that Mum's needs are cared for. Mum is very well looked after, and despite her health difficulties, including vascular dementia and Alzheimer's she is not distressed. All the staff are caring and as far as I can see, provide residents with dignity. It is lovely to see Mum's face light up when a carer comes into her room. Thank you so much for giving the family peace of mind.

My sister has been with you since January 2024 and l have always found the staff to be friendly and informative at all times. The care that is given to my sister is good and greatly appreciated in making sure she is comfortable at all times.

I am very happy with the care that my dad is receiving at Cherry Garden. He is always washed, shaven, and in clean clothes. I feel that he is very well cared for. Every single member of staff is lovely, friendly, welcoming, and approachable each time that we visit. My dad is very difficult to care
for and I appreciate their time, effort, and care with him. Thank you.

My partner has been at Cherry Gardens for eleven years I find the staff very caring and always there to help my partner, also I'm very welcome when I visit at least three times a week also the home has good management that keeps the home to a high standard. Altogether I am pleased that my partner is
at a good home and well looked after.

My mother has been at Cherry Gardens for a few weeks. She is doing well and seems very settled. The staff are great - all very polite and helpful. Good range of activities. Thank you for all you are doing for the residents.

We were not expecting to stay at Cherry Garden Nursing Home but am glad we did. My husband loves it there and is very happy. I visit most days and made to feel very welcome. Staff are friendly and helpful and always manage to raise a smile from my other half. Nice rooms and lovely gardens where we
sit in the sun and just enjoy life. Lots of things to do for the residents whether it be reading, singing, playing games or arts and crafts. There always something to do.

I have been visiting my friend in Cherry Garden Nursing Home for the last nine years, each week.
Many of the staff are the same as nine years ago. New members of staff are just as caring and loving as old staff.
Residents and visitors are treated very well, a happy and welcoming place to be part
of.

My mother has been here for five/six years. Management and staff are very friendly and are very approachable. They treat my mother very well. Could not say a bad word about this home.

The management and staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them, it makes it easy to ask questions or ask for anything, e.g. food, drink or anything else I need for my dad. They are so good with my mum when we visit. Dad always got a cup of tea for her and anything else
she wants.

Overall, my experience with the home is good. They look after my mother well and she is happy there. The building itself is beginning to look shabby but I am happy with the care my mother receives which is more important.

When I visit my mother-in-law I find that she is treated with respect and dignity. The staff and management are friendly when you arrive. You're always offered a cup of tea. Wonderful home.

The staff are fantastic, they make you feel like you are part of a family. The care they give my mum is wonderful, so kind and they have always been kind to all our family. The food and choice of food is fantastic, all made by hand. The home may sometimes look a little tired but when you are there
it’s the care the staff give that is the most important thing.

I always find staff very helpful and friendly on every visit. They treat Mum very respectfully and always attend to her needs. I am happy Mum is now living at Cherry Garden and has a better quality of life than her previous home.
