The dedication of all staff to residents is very noticeable. Residents are part of the family, there is dedication to both residents and their families and to their happiness. The property is very clean and comfortable. The food prepared by on-site chefs is good quality and varied the variety of
activities each day are very good and varied, and inclusive of the residents. During warmer weather the garden includes an aviary with a variety of birds, very relaxing.
I am very pleased with my choice of residential care for my partner and I am very happy that she is receiving a very high standard of care.

I am so thankful to Stacy and all the staff at Bluebell Nursing Home who cared for and looked after my Mum in the last few months of her life. Mum was treated with the upmost respect, dignity and kindness. The medical team and carers were fantastic, making sure that not only was Mum kept comfortable
but that my Dad and I were kept informed. Placing a parent in a nursing home is by no means easy, and I worried, a lot. However, I had no need to worry at all. Mum's room was lovely and homely. Dad could spend as long as he wanted with Mum. Just before Mum died, my Mum and Dad celebrated their 65th Wedding anniversary. Bluebell made sure it was celebrated in style. It was a joy to see Mum and Dad celebrate their big day together. When Mum died on the 24th September, Bluebell provided Dad and I with the most wonderful support. Thank you to everyone at Bluebell who cared for my lovely Mum. It is my greatest comfort to know how lovingly you cared for my Mum in the last few months of her life.

My Dad had been a resident of the Bluebell Nursing Home for 4 months. During this time he has received the best treatment anyone could hope for at the Home.
The staff always greeted him with a smile and direct eye contact and made conversation with him rather than just get on the with the job in
hand so to speak. They treated him with dignity and humanity.
Sadly, my Dad passed away on 9th March. We, his family, are so grateful for the wonderful support following his death. They have been so kind, especially to my Mum and have said that she is welcome to visit whenever, its not a case of 'goodbye' for her if she would like to remain in contact with the Bluebell.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in my Dad's care. We are comforted to know that he had the best 'ending' one could possibly have - dignity, love, care, joy, peace and kindness. We are so very pleased that we chose the Bluebell Nursing Home for him to spend his last days. Thank you everyone!

My mother had been in Bluebell Nursing Home for fourteen months. She has been bedbound for all that time but always seemed happy and well looked after during all that time. Sadly, she passed away this week but her passing was dignified and the staff took great care of her during her last days. We
were always informed of changes in her health and involved if any interventions were needed. We felt she was genuinely cared for.

My husband moved into Bluebell Nursing Home in April after 9 weeks in hospital because needed nursing care. He has Alzheimer's and other health problems. I was made welcome and told to treat it like home. He is always treated with love and respect by carers. They are always friendly to me, I spend
5-6 hours a day with my husband. The staff are always busy having a large number of residents each to deal with personal care/ bed changing etc. A lot of residents, like my husband are bed bound. I have had concerns sometimes about the time it takes to answer buzzers - and feel there should be more looking in on patients, other than meals and pad changing. On the whole I am pleased and he is being looked after, something I couldn't have managed at home.

My mum moved into Bluebell Nursing Home in 2023 and it has a lovely environment and caring staff. Mum was poorly when she arrived and was diagnosed with vascular dementia, with the support and care that she receives at Bluebell, she has become more mobile and definitely happier. My worries and
concerns have been taken care of because of the excellent care and professional approach by all of the staff at the home. Nursing, care, management, catering, cleaning and Mum definitely enjoys her weekly hair appointment. Thank you Bluebell, you are all stars to me.

The staff are friendly and caring. My Mother-in-law says the food is plentiful and very good as they try to cater to her requests. The room is nice with a large window giving lots of light. I believe there are activities for the residents which unfortunately my Mother-in-law cannot join in with as
she is bedridden and unable to go downstairs. Would be nice for her if activities could be provided in her room. More channels on the TV would be nice.

My mother stayed at the Bluebell Nursing Home and she was very well loved and cared for by all the staff. The staff would get her up and take her to the lounge and to the garden when the weather was nice, she was always smiling from ear to ear. The Bluebell became another home to me and my family.
In the end stages of mums life, the care staff were exemplary with her care. It's a 5 stars for Bluebell.

Mum is well looked after. She loves the food and is always given a choice, and nothing is too much trouble for the chef. There are some outstanding carers here who go over and above as they know Mum likes company in her room and they like to keep her happy. Any issues that have arisen have always
been addressed immediately.

Bluebell are magnificent. For someone recovering from sepsis, a heart attack, pneumonia and Covid, things for me were not looking good. It's because of the kindness and professionalism of the staff at Bluebell that I made such an extraordinary recovery. I will be forever grateful for all their hard
work. I will be moving to supported living following my long stay here, but I will miss them very much. Thank you, Bluebell.

My beautiful grandad spent the last 11 weeks of his life in the comforts of Bluebell and we could not be happier with the service given. Upon viewing the home, I and my nan loved the home from home feel, and the room on offer was beautiful. The day and night care staff, matron and nurses were so
accommodating at all times especially in the days leading to my grandfathers sad passing, ensuring we always felt comfortable and offered refreshments often, and all staff answered any questions we had with confidence. My grandad was moved into the home on his birthday and the staff were so amazing, allowing us to come in to see him and the chef even made him a special cake! The food was always top-notch produced fresh on-site, filling the home with the lovely aroma, and always looked so filling/appetising. My grandad always looked so well kept and cared for in the time he was there.
Thank you to you all for looking after my grandad so well.. xx

My mum was moved from being in hospital really poorly for 5 months into Bluebell Nursing Home In Dec 2019, we visited other homes and was not prepared to move our mum just anywhere, when viewing Bluebell we knew instantly that it was a lovely run home. Mum moved in bed-bound with complex needs of
mental health problems. She completely changed for the better living there, had never seen her so happy or contented for years after suffering terrible anxiety she just relaxed and enjoyed it, she loved all the staff who are all excellent!!! I and my sister loved visiting her and seeing her soo happy. Then lockdown hit but we never ever worried about her, they kept us informed of everything and had weekly video calls with mum even when she became really poorly and probably could have gone into hospital, we decided we wanted her to stay where she felt safe and secure with staff who she knew and knew her character best, at end of life we all came said goodbye .. amazing care home

My husband spent his last 6 months at this wonderful home. There are no adequate words to express my thanks to them. Their love, devotion, respect and understanding is quite outstanding. He had a rare dementia that robbed him of almost everything, including his ability to speak but they understood
him and made him smile. I was with him as he died and I can honestly say he could not have been more peaceful. You will ever be in my heart and prayers Bluebell. Thank you always.
