View Full Details of Rashwood Care HomeVery good care and meals excellent. Gardens beautiful and Rashwood clean. Very comfortable.
My husband felt he was got up too early for his shower (6:30am) wider choice of beers please.
I arrived at Rashwood directly from hospital where I had a complete hip replacement. |I was very pleased to be shown to a ground floor room very well appointed and with a view of magnificent gardens. From this moment I was treated with kindness best of care and good humour whatever was the designated job of the person concerned nothing was too much trouble and all its care and comfort helped me to heal and return home on 14/6/25.
Thank you for your support. You looked after me so well.
Very pleased with weeks stay you respite. Staff all round excellent. Food generally very good. Well presented. Would have liked evening meal with residents but understand they are ready to settle for evening. Would be happy to visit again.
My Mother moved in at the end of February 2025 and our family is very pleased with the care she has received. All of the Staff that I have met so far are not only professional and attentive but genuinely kind, friendly and compassionate. Rashwood has beautiful gardens which are maintained to a high standard and my mother has lovely views from her room. Her room is spacious and comfortable. The food is to her liking and they cater for her particular needs and wants. I enjoy visiting due to the lovely surroundings. I am looking forward to being able to walk around the gardens and sit in the garden with my mother as soon as the weather improves. I would highly recommend Rashwood Care Home.
I could not fault Rashwood Care Home. My uncle's room was in the old part of the building it had character, fabulous view and was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They did an excellent job restoring his strength and well being. Fabulous care home!
Rashwood Care Home is a very friendly and high quality home. From our first contact with the home until the day my mother returned to her own home we were always made very welcome by all the staff, in whatever capacity they were working. Nothing is too much trouble whether you are a resident or a visitor. The standard of care is high including the nursing care an the friendliness is genuine. Thank you to all the staff who made my mother's stay so enjoyable, I'm sorry that I can't remember all of your names.
My mother was discharged from hospital to Rashwood for end-of-life care back in March 2024. She was very poorly when she was admitted. Due to the love and care that Mom has received at Rashwood she has clearly thrived and is very happy where she is. Rashwood offers many activities to residents which is fantastic for interaction with others. The gardens are beautiful so during decent weather it's lovely to walk around the grounds and appreciate how well they are kept. All of the staff are very caring and there is nothing that is ever too much trouble to ask for. I would highly recommend Rashwood to anyone looking for a nursing/care home for their loved one.
My mom and dad are residents at Rashwood. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere at all times. They both receive excellent care. The entertainment team does an excellent job of arranging activities and they both enjoy their meals. I would highly recommend Rashwood Care Home.
An outstanding care home in every way, but particularly on account of the quality of care provided. I cannot recommend Rashwood highly enough and I have had experience of many care homes within the Worcestershire region.
Two weeks ago my mom was diagnosed in hospital with a totally unexpected illness and we rapidly had to find somewhere as local as possible that would offer her the best possible end-of-life care for the very short time she had left. Rashwood fitted the bill 100%. From the minute we stepped through the door to view its suitability to the few days later when we left after Mom sadly passed away we were all treated with the utmost care, respect and compassion. Every single member of staff was kind and supportive with nothing too much trouble. My brother, my husband and I stayed with Mom for most of the four days she was there, taking advantage of the offer of their visitor's accommodation to take turns to get a couple of hours sleep. Everything was made as easy as possible for us to be with our mom. Sadly, she didn't have the privilege of accessing the wonderful, immaculate gardens or the facilities offered to other more able residents but what she did receive could not have been better.
The carers are so lovely and do their utmost to help my nan. Her health as well as her mental health has come so far since being here and it’s all down to those guys. They really do everything they can to help!
My father moved into Rashwood Care Home in November last year. He is settling in really well. The staff are lovely. They are very caring and take into consideration Dad's likes and dislikes. Any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The home is always kept clean and his room is bright and airy with a lovely view over the garden and countryside. The activities that are laid on are many and varied- thanks to three staff members. Visitors are always made to feel welcome. The manager and the management team are approachable and great to deal with, answering queries and solving problems. Overall we are very happy with this lovely home and Dad's care. I would definitely recommend Rashwood Care Home.
My husband has been at Rashwood since the beginning of October 2023. He settled very quickly and declared he was happy and contented and there were some very "nice" staff. He is confined to bed and so cannot benefit much from the interesting programme of activities. He has valued visits from the Vicar. All the staff have been friendly to family and friends and we have felt welcome. I regret that there are not more opportunities for my husband to be moved to a chair or even other parts of the building.
Both my parents were residents at Rashwood for several years, my mother is still a resident and feels very much at home there. We live in Scotland so it is a great comfort to know our loved one is happy and so well looked after. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff, activities and food. Every effort is made to accommodate the needs of the individual. In summary, I would hope to have a 'Rashwood' myself if it ever became necessary!
My mother has been a resident at Rashwood since December 2019 following a stroke resulting in weakness on one side and severe speech impairment. The nursing staff and carers have always treated her with love, care, dignity and respect. In return, she displays a great fondness towards them. She has been bed-bound for a while now, resulting in finding it difficult to socialise with other residents or partake in group activities, but she has enjoyed a visit to a local playgroup and does have one-to-one sessions in her room. She has also been taken for walks around the gardens with members of the social team. Mum celebrated her 100th birthday last February and the staff went out of their way to make the day special and memorable for her and the wider family. Everyone at Rashwood is friendly and welcoming towards all visitors and family members. You’re made to feel as though you and your loved one are part of a wider family and it is much appreciated.
My mum was looked after very well when she went in for palliative care all the staff were first class. Food was a good choice and presented very well the carers were very considerate and caring and the final day was very respectful all the the staff lined up for Mum's exit, lovely gesture.
Nothing but praise for every aspect of my mother’s care. She is happy and content and enjoys the company of other residents and staff. The atmosphere for visiting family is always friendly and we feel like we are welcome whenever we visit.
My experience now is of two patients and their care for both of a high standard. Staff are friendly, helpful, kind and caring. Rashwood to the best of my knowledge has always had a high standard. As a visitor, I have always been treated with a welcome, smile and respect.
