The Golden Wedding celebration for my sister and her husband was superb. The welcome given to family and friends and the care with which food and a cake were prepared was very much appreciated. The room was lovingly decorated for the occasion and all the staff entered into the celebrations with enthusiasm. We left the day not only very thankful for a long marriage but also that the couple were enabled to celebrate it in a very appropriate way. The way in which my sister has recently improved as a result of group stimulation is very good to witness.

My Nana recently moved into the home. Several family members visited today with our toddlers. The staff enabled us to spend some lovely time in the garden where the kids could run around whilst we shared lemonade and biscuits with our Nana. The staff bought this all to us unexpectedly. It was greatly appreciated. They then offered us to stay for lunch and set us up a lovely table for our whole family to eat together in the garden. The food was really delicious which surprised me. The staff were really attentive and even gave the kids ice lollies. They seemed very considerate and helpful.

My dear wife spent the last few weeks of her life in Eden Holme and I and our family were really impressed by the caring, dedicated team who looked after her and indeed us when we visited. From the manager down, all the staff were friendly, hardworking and clearly very well trained.

I believe that Eden Holme Care is the best place locally for my husband because: 1) My husband is deaf and blind with Alzheimer's and other medical conditions. He has been rejected by several care homes because they could not cope with his needs. Eden Holme is taking good care of him. 2) All staff, from the Manager to nursing and care staff, chefs and cleaners, are all focused on the residents' wellbeing alerting co-workers electronically and verbally of any needing attention. The carers find time to speak kindly to the residents and pacify those who are distressed. 3)The meals cooked in their kitchen are much better than hospital fare and cater for the needs of residents with eating and swallowing problems. 4) The 1:1 supported activities in Eden Holme are stretching him mentally and physically as I have seen on their videos. The activities team do their best to keep residents entertained and stimulated. 5) Registered nurses provide feedback. 6) Good value for money.

My mother was placed here she has been in 3 different settings and this is the first place I feel that the staff genuinely care, are respectful and treat residents with the dignity and respect they deserve. I have also been met with kind and courteous staff, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!

Excellent care both mum and dad are residents and the care and thoughtfulness is amazing. They cannot do enough for both of them. Mum came in for end-of-life and within a week she showed improvement compared to when she was in the hospital.

My mum was in Eden Care Home for a couple of months and the level of care she recieved from all the staff was incredible. The home was excellent for her needs and the other residents became her friends. The home is well-organised and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The staff are friendly and considerate. Provide compassionate and thoughtful care to my dad. Spend time to understand his needs and provide personalised care.

The staff I find very good and so helpful. The rooms and the care home are always very clean and tidy. It's a pleasure to visit.

We went to visit my friend and didn't know what to expect but I got a lovely warm welcome from all of the staff. Lovely and friendly, nice spacious rooms. Everywhere is spotless nothing is too much trouble always ask if I want tea and coffee. Every time I visit I would recommend the care home to anyone.

My father spent the last two years of his life here. He was well looked after and was quite content. We never had any problems with the home and his care was very good. The staff were very patient and kind. Thank you all.

When visiting my partner all the staff are friendly, polite, and very helpful and any questions I ask get answered. A very good care home.

I think the staff and carers do a fantastic job and are very helpful. The care home is well run and the care plan is very thorough and helpful in keeping mum safe.

We come to see our relative once a week and are always very impressed with the politeness and friendliness of all the staff. It doesn't matter who you see they are always smiling and everyone speaks. They are trying their very best under very trying circumstances of a resident who doesn't want to help themselves. They still keep trying to persuade them to have a go.

My husband has been here for 7 weeks. The staff have been excellent with him, recognising his needs. His appetite has improved and he appears to be very content.
