View Full Details of Eastholme Nursing HomeMum moved into Eastholme following a fall and massive bleed on the brain that left her very confused and unsteady on her feet. She has been very well looked after by all staff at the home. They really care for their residents, spend time with them and make sure they are happy and feel loved. The activity programme allows residents to get out and about as well as taking part in a range arts and crafts. Residents can also meet four legged friends who come to visit as well as taking part in the occasional singalong! Food is also good and the chef will go round in the morning to see what residents would like for lunch and dinner, which is thoughtful. The staff at Eastholme have also been a massive support to us as a family, navigating this new normal. They are genuinely kind and have been there for us when events have been challenging - even inviting me to have Christmas lunch with mum. Would recommend without hesitation.
We are very happy the way my mum is looked after and cared for. The staff are helpful, kind cheerful and caring. We know mum is in good capable hands.
In the two and a half months that my mum has been resident at Eastholme I have been totally happy with the care she has been receiving. The staff are very considerate and friendly in their approach. My regular visits are always welcomed and I am informed of any changes by phone call in between visits if necessary. I could definitely recommend this nursing home!
All the staff are friendly and caring, treating my wife with dignity and compassion. Accommodation is comfortable but not luxurious although the fabric could do with some local refurbishment in certain areas. Furniture is basic but functional. Visitors are welcomed.
We are so fortunate that our mum lives in this care home, and the staff are so kind. When we arrive to visit mum, it feels like we walk into a warm, loving and welcoming home. We are always kept up to date with any changes to mum's care. No matter how busy the staff are, the standard of care is always outstanding.
My aunt is very happy at Eastholme. The staff are wonderful and very kind, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always happy and willing to help. My aunt is always very well cared for and we know she is in the best place and getting the very best care possible. A huge thank you to all the staff at Eastholme.
Mum has severe dementia, unable to walk, talk coherently or carry out any tasks for herself. Living in fear and confusion and regularly having frightening hallucinations. No longer able to cope alone but feeling guilty about handing day to day support to strangers. We needed help. Despite Mum being very difficult to manage Eastholme Care Home offered to take her in, providing reassurance to both Mum and her family that she would receive the care, compassion and love that she deserves. Well ten months on and I can say that the Eastholme team are brilliant, they are part of our family now and we theirs, nothing is too much trouble and Mum is indeed receiving all the care, love and attention she needs. We are free to visit anytime and we are kept fully informed of any problems, changes or developments as they occur. The home is always very clean and tidy with no smells, Mum is treated with respect in a happy, calm environment. I can't thank them enough but I can highly recommend them!
Excellent. Very caring and fun staff. Will bend over backwards to help residents and visitors alike. Would recommend to anyone. Hope when I'm in need of care, I get the chance to come in here. Eastholme is a first-class care home and first-class carers.
Fantastic care home! Staff are approachable and extremely caring, my Mum is having the best care and lives in a happy and stable situation. Great communication from management and staff about all aspects of mum's care and issues. Just wonderful, thank you!
I have had dealings with the care home for the last 3 years with 2 of my family members now in there. The staff are always lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My Dad said he would never go in a care home but when the time came he was happy to join his wife there. They take them out into town for coffee and lunch and they do lots of activities and celebration days. I am very happy with the care that is received and the meals always love lovely and Dad says they are nice and he always has plenty of choices.
I have been visiting family for almost 3 years in Eastholme, all the staff are lovely, they are helpful. So pleased this is where my Mum and step dad are being cared for. Can't speak for other residents but my Mum and step dad are very happy. Lovely to see photographs being posted of the activities some get involved it too.
Caring, friendly staff. However, didn't seem to have time to spend with people. I was in the home on respite basis for rehab. Home very clean, no smells. Food is good. Pleased I'm back home. Management not visible - no idea who they were.
My mum has been a resident for seven years. I cannot praise the staff enough, they treat Mum with kindness, dignity, and as if she were their own family. My mum clearly loves them all, you can see her eyes light up when they come in. She is well cared for both physically and mentally. Thank you to all the staff for their dedicated care.
All the staff were courteous and hopeful. Nothing was too much trouble for them to help. Staff made me feel at ease during my short stay.
Dementia changes people and all the team who work at Eastholme got to know my father-in-law and they changed with him, every step of his journey. They care about him, night and day. They welcome any way to make his life more comfortable. We are always welcome too, the door is always open. I am grateful for their high standards and their patience.
My mother has been a resident in Eastholme for 5 years. I visit approximately 4 times a week. The home is well managed and kept very clean. The staff are caring and polite. Any issue or concern/question I have raised has been addressed speedily and satisfactorily. My only concern is I feel there should be a member of staff in the communal areas at all times where possible.
Nursing staff absolutely super. Everybody really nice and helpful.
My husband was in the home as a short stay from leaving the hospital. It was lovely, the staff were kind and the place had a gentle feel. It was warm and he was cared for well. Management were visible - the place flowed through with ease. It was well run.
Mum was referred here for transitional care, until she recovered the use of her legs. Everyone was very kind, helpful, obliging and respectful to mum. They all will miss all the carers now she is home. I would most definitely recommend Eastholme Nursing Home to anyone.
