View Full Details of Barchester Chacombe Park BeaumontJohn is very well looked after at Barchester Chacombe Park. It is clear that he feels very relaxed and comfortable. The facilities are amazing, beautiful views in lovely countryside. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it is clear that they take pride in their work.
Has been looked after very well.
Staff, care, room & food fantastic. My concern is security. No code required for inner front door when no ones at reception. Anyone can walk in. All family should have their own personal code I do this with the security electric gate on our caravan site.
The staff are caring and friendly. The house is clean and attractive - always flowers adorn the reception and communal rooms. The staff give the place happy, caring atmosphere.
The whole experience of arranging care for my mother following surgery has been a pleasure. The management and staff made the whole process easy and could not have done anymore to make mums stay any better. Any queries dealt with promptly, all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Mum has enjoyed her stay immensely and we her family are very grateful for the kindness, care and companionship you have shown us all. A beautiful home in a peaceful well maintained location.
A Truly Exceptional Care Home - Compassion, Dignity, and Peace of Mind. I have been visiting Chacombe Park for over 18 months now. Firstly for my friend who is a permanent resident and my Mum who went in for respite. The staff at Chacombe Park are more than caregivers-they are genuinely compassionate individuals who treat the residents with warmth, compassion, and professionalism and this is evident in every interaction, and the level of care provided goes far beyond what I ever expected. Words can't fully express my gratitude to the entire team at Chacombe Park They've not only given my friend a safe and joyful place to live, but they also give comfort, reassurance, and trust in their expertise. If you're looking for a care home where residents are truly cherished and treated like family, I cannot recommend Chacombe Park highly enough.
It would have been more enjoyable if I had the room on the ground floor, which we originally booked. Found it an effort to go out & join in because of being on the top floor. Toilet seat was broken but I didn't tell anyone. Food was not always to my taste - fish & chips horible - liked the soup and ice cream, - Alternatives to the daily menu were not offered, maybe the alternatives need to be spelt out more clearly - morning coffee was cold on occasion Pritti & Kate looked after me very well.
My Aunt was put to bed in her nighty when I got there at 16.20. She cannot speak with her dementia. No wonder she started to get bed sores! Food not great for elderly.. my Aunt does not eat curry or pasta and both on menu what happened to good old fashion English food. Soup was out a packet!!! Sounds nice on menu maybe this was just the dementia floor. COD goujon was cheap fish fingers!
I arrived here after spending time as hospital. The welcome I received from all your staff and everything they did for me were absolutely first class. They were all kind, helpful and charming. I've been so happy here and wasn't sure I wanted to leave to go home. My husband died last year, after a long illness, and your staff really helped me to survive my dreadful loss. Thankyou, all of you, I will always remember ALL of you with great affection.
My friend received excellent terminal care maintaining her dignity at all times.
My stay has been wonderful with excellent care and assistance to get me back walking again. Would never hesitate in coming back or in recommending you to friends and family.
All the staff were wonderful, kind and helpful. Only downfall was the food. Some days it was appalling.
My husband was sent to Chacombe Park from hospital. All staff were kind, respectful and patient, always welcoming with a smile and friendly chat. He received the highest possible care, we were both supported during his stay. Because of the excellent treatment he received he not only recovered but thrived. He attended planned sessions and met other residents. He was able to access the grounds independently giving us freedom for the first time in many years. He is now home and we miss Chacombe Park so try to attend various sessions when we can. A thank you doesn't go far enough to show our gratitude.
Overall a very good care home I was only in for rehabilitation but it was very good I was taken care of by all members of staff beautiful grounds to be taken out in wheelchair. I have to give praise to the night shift they were marvellous.
A beautiful setting for a care home or in my case to recover from a broken ankle. My room was like a hotel room will ensuite. I opted for cooked breakfast (providing protein), asking for otherwise small portions of main meals but combinations of foods was disappointing with insufficient protein. However staff were willing and kind and professional. Night staff of 2 with care of 40 patients must at times be demanding. My stay was a very pleasant and helpful experience.
Work together really well. Staff were friendly.
The staff looked after my father for two months through January and February. They showed such kindness and care to him and my family. He was very poorly but they all tried to cheer him up bringing food for me too when I was sat with him for hours. It takes a special kind of person to have that much patience and empathy and respect and gentleness and Chacombe Park staff have that in abundance. Although my dad eventually passed away in hospital we won't forget how lovely Chacombe Park was.
Barchester Chacombe Park Beaumont's standard of care is superb. The staff are friendly, professional, polite, helpful, and genuinely care about their residents. We are very happy with our mother to be there, and that she very happy about being there also. It's comforting to know she is well cared for and her needs are met. I would recommend Barchester Chacombe Park Beaumont without hesitation.
My father was moved to beautiful Barchester Chacombe Park Care Home on a temporary basis after a lengthy stay in hospital. He had complex conditions which the nursing team quickly got to know. They were caring, competent and we were reassured from day one that Dad would be in good hands. Throughout Dad's short stay at Chacombe, they treated him and all of our family with warmth, providing timely feedback on how he had been or any concerns. Sadly, Dad's recovery was not meant to be and he slipped away peacefully whilst at Chacombe. The support provided to our family and Dad in his final days and hours was faultless. His passing was handled with total compassion which will provide us with much comfort in the long term. We will be forever grateful to the team at Chacombe.
Staff make you feel welcome whenever I visit and it's obvious they extended every effort to make the residents as happy and comfortable as possible. I've walked in to find a staff member holding my mother's hand and everyone is aware of her routine and allow for her personal moods and idiosyncrasies. Highly recommended!
