My husband became a resident in November 2023 he is happy there and he joins in with lots of activities that the staff do with the residents the carers staff and management are excellent. I'm happy with his care and so is he.

Hurstead House continues to provide our mother with a high degree of care that meets her physical and emotional needs. She continues to retain a good level of independence despite her deteriorating condition. She appears to be very settled in the environment and the staff's interaction with her
always seems genuinely affectionate.

My brother has been in the home for two years all the staff there have been really helpful with all the issues that we have encountered.
Whenever I have ahead the need to call them they have always been obliging and do whatever they can to help. They encourage the residents to socialise and make
them feel valued.

My nana is looked after and cared for by the staff as if she is a member of their family. I know she’s safe and is treated with respect.
The only “hmmm” is that the bedrooms are slightly dated, however I appreciate how hard the staff work and pretty rooms aren’t essential as long as the rooms are
clean and tidy.

Very welcoming home, staff are really friendly and approachable. My friend is very well looked after and always happy when I visit.
Always a lovely gent who works there offers me a cup of tea on every visit.

As I live 200 miles away from my mum it is even more important that I know she is safe and well cared for which is why I have every confidence in the care provided for her at Hurstead House Care Home. I can keep in regular contact with her by phone and I am always contacted should I need to know
anything. When I visit I am always made to feel welcome and I can see how attentive the staff are to Mum. When friends visit Mum I’m told how lovely the staff are with her. The home is well managed and the staff treat my mum respectfully and with dignity.

Both my parents have been at Hurstead House Care Home for some time. During this time I feel my parents have been cared for in a manner that exceeds my expectations. The staff informed me of any concerns with my parents and have listened when I needed to be listened to. My parent's basic needs have
always been met and staff have been aware of any changes in there health resulting in their health needs being addressed appropriately. Recently my dad passed away, he was on end-of-life care for his final days and myself and family stayed with him for most of the time. During this difficult time, I can not praise the staff enough for the care and time they gave to my dad and my family they really were amazing. I feel that Hurstead House is not just a residential home it is a family of loving and caring staff who treat the residents as they would like their own family members to be treated. I can not thank them enough.

Amazing service and issues that were happening with other family members were dealt with professionally and promptly. We were updated every step of the way and given the best advice and how to move forward with the situation. Nan was happy and being looked after really well too, and has had no
issues whatsoever. Nan is always well looked after, fed right and on time. If she’s having a down day, they will always help and encourage her to try to come out of her room and sit with other residents and always have her laughing and smiling.

Always keep me informed and accommodating for visiting my father. He is extremely well cared for and always appears immaculate. Lovely staff very friendly and respectful towards my father who suffers with Parkinsons.

Hurstead House Care Home is a friendly, warm and welcoming residential care home. I have found the staff to be very caring, compassionate, dedicated and informative. Mum regularly comments about how good the food is and how well she is looked after. The approach to Covid hygiene has been strictly
adhered to both for residents, staff and visitors. They are in the process of recruitment for a new manager and activities co-ordinator in August 2022.

The staff are very friendly and my dad as settled in really well. When he went in the care home he was very unwell since he's been there he's put weight on and he's happy. The staff arranged for my dad to get hair cut and to get him to eat and drink again.

Very clean a big improvement.
It is homely and the management and carers are courteous and friendly my wife has been happy and well cared for. You have been through a trying time. Hope things get better and more outings and treats to lift spirits.

Since moving into this care home my mum's mental and physical health has improved dramatically. All the staff are so kind and caring, the food provided is wonderful and there are always activities to keep the residents engaged and entertained. My mum loves living here and I feel so happy that she is
settled, safe and well looked after.

Office staff are always happy and helpful and make you feel welcome.
