View Full Details of The BrunswickDad came to the Brunswick nearly 3 years ago. During that time his mixed dementia sadly worsened and his needs became greater as time passed. At every step of the journey, my Dad was treated with the utmost care and respect. He spent a very happy 3 years with all of the other staff. They ensured his every need was catered for. Dad was happy, safe and well cared for. I am forever thankful that when a member of staff went out to assess him in his transitional setting, that she felt Dad was right for the Brunswick, as the Brunswick was definitely the best place for his final years. It wasn't often Dad needed medical care but if he did then they ensured he was seen quickly and kept me up to date The other residents are lovely and the atmosphere in the home is that of an extended family. I would 100% recommend the Brunswick care home to any family worrying about finding the right place. I am forever indebted to the ladies and gentlemen who made his last years so happy
We moved Mum in here in July 2024, and it has been a wonderful residential home for Mum. The staff have been lovely and my sister and I will really miss them all. Mum's Alzheimer's has sadly meant she needs more specialised help, and for that reason, with heavy hearts, we have had to make the difficult decision to move her. We will miss all the fun afternoons with the staff and residents, and would recommend The Brunswick without hesitation.
I found The Brunswick a very welcoming and friendly place. My friend is well looked after and the facilities are excellent.
Overall experience and care/support to my dad is brilliant. All the staff are very caring and supportive. Thank you all.
I think the Brunswick Care Home is great.
I feel very safe and well cared for. I feel happy with the staff. Can laugh and have serious conversations.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The premises are very clean and residents appear well looked after.
The whole experience at the Brunswick is amazing. The place is fantastic and the key is the people - truly amazing, from the chefs and cleaners, to caring staff and management. Top to bottom - first class. Everyone looks after my mum.
I am happy in this home.
The home is a wonderful place and I have found it couldn't be anywhere else for me to stay. I couldn't be any more happy to have the room I have. I feel really at home with having a lot of things I was allowed to bring with me and being able to see my visitors at any time. The staff are really very friendly and have made me feel at home.
Home very good.
I am a resident at the Brunswick and have been a resident for 7 years. The home is very clean, the food is good and all the carers are lovely and if you need to speak with a carer they are very understanding and will listen to what you have to say or will help in anything they can. I give the home and all the staff and management 10 out of 10 for everything.
Staff are lovely, very kind and helpful, always handy and good to help management team. My room is lovely, very comfortable.
I really and truly happy here and I really like the staff. I would like to have carer to help me when I need one.
I would highly recommend this home.
We moved our dad in a few days ago, and so far everything is great. Our dad is really happy, all the staff we've met so far are very helpful. All the residents look happy and well looked after.
My parents have belonged to the Dovehaven care group for a period of years and are now living in The Brunswick Care Home, Southport. I am delighted with the home and the staff there have undoubtedly given them a wonderful standard of living whilst being with them. I have no complaints about their care, indeed my parents could not wish for better care, compassion and a real depth of understanding of both of their different and differing needs. They have been treated with the utmost respect, empathy and care whilst encouraging their independence albeit limited and greatly reduced but the staff have worked hard to allow them to choose things that they are still able to. I am always informed of any changes in them- whether that is in medications, demeanour or mood swings. Any changes in physical health have been promptly dealt with and their psychological welfare has been enhanced by the attention to detail that the staff routinely show towards my parents. Many thanks.
I visit my nan every week. She is very happy in The Brunswick, the staff are always very friendly. The care she gets is excellent she is always clean and well dressed. There are always things for the resident to do and the staff make everyone feel welcome. I feel my nana is in safe hands.
My friend spent approximately 18 months in the home and was always treated with great care and respect. The staff went above and beyond in their care and attention to their needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending long-term or respite care.
My mother-in-law is currently residing at The Brunswick; she initially went for a short period of respite but has stayed. We find the staff welcoming, helpful and cheery. They are caring and patient with my mother-in-law. The position of The Brunswick is excellent, with easy access to the streets for a stroll with a wheelchair or sitting in the beautifully decorated lounges looking out and watching the world go by.
