View Full Details of BeechcroftOverall our family is happy with the care our mum receives. Staff, manager are all friendly and welcoming, especially the receptionist. They are always ready to answer any questions and provide any information we need. Nursing care is also good and staff will readily answer any concerns. Mum has been a resident for over 5 years and has moved rooms. Her present room needs decorating, wallpaper has come away from the wall and paintwork needs sprucing up.
My brother is very happy. Staff are lovely. Manager is a very nice lady. Always plenty of drinks and snacks all day long.
I find Beechcroft to have a friendly happy atmosphere. Residents and visitors are made to feel welcome. Care and activities are outstanding.
Mum is well looked after, she has made progress since being at Beechcroft. Activities are excellent for the residents. I am very happy with the care she is receiving.
My mother-in-law has settled in well, Beechcroft I find is a very good home. Residents are well looked after, plenty of activities for the residents.
Dad was looked after very well in the nursing home. He had friendly staff to talk to. He was always clean and tidy. The home was clean and tidy and was decorated nicely. My only downside was there wasn't much communication sent to his family when he wasn't well or when he was dying.
Very friendly staff. Always clean + tidy throughout.
My mum has come from seven weeks in hospital. Her needs changed so came from residential to Beechcroft. I only have first impressions so far but this has been second to none. The manager was welcoming, kind and informative. All the staff were lovely and nothing was too much. One member of staff made her room homely before she arrived. This has made the move to nursing care so much easier because the staff are lovely. It also smells lovely and fresh and is spotless. I can't comment on food as she hasn't eaten yet but if the rest of this is to go by, I assume this will be good.
Best of care. Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere in lovely semi-rural setting. Highly recommended for anyone disabled, physically or mentally. It was a pleasure to visit my wife who spent a contented two weeks there.
Highly recommend Beechcroft nursing home. My grandad is being looked after by such caring and genuine care workers and nurses. The staff take the time talking to my grandad and treat him with respect and dignity. He is cared for so well, and his appetite has improved a lot which is a credit to the chef/cook as the meals are always wholesome meals and tailored to his needs. Each member of staff from the carers/nurses right through to the admin team all take the time to actually know my grandad by name. Thank you Beechcroft nursing home I know my grandad is in safe hands.
I lived in Beechcroft for several months. The staff helped me to go home, one staff member helped me get sorted on a property scheme and the manager was marvellous as were all the staff.
Overall it is a friendly, smooth-run community. However, a shortage of staff on occasion makes it difficult to monitor all aspects of the home and its residents. Staff do a good job and the new activities coordinator is a great asset to the team. Improvements have started in the quality of meals, compared to when Dad first arrived.
All staff are very caring and very welcoming. Myself and my family have been extremely pleased with the improvement my sister has made during her stay at Beechcroft.
My elderly mother has been a resident at Beechcroft for the past month. My mother suffers from dementia and is recovering from a broken hip. She is also coeliac. In her time at the home, she has been treated with compassion and care by the marvellous, caring staff. The staff have gone the extra mile in making sure my mother has settled in quickly. They even arranged a 90th birthday party for our mother. The home has a brilliant team of people working there from the cleaning, handyman, activities coordinator, clerical and caring staff, and it shows as the home is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, well-run, and the residents well cared for. All my family are so happy our mother was granted a place at Beechcroft, and most of all, the care she is receiving.
Thank you for making my Dads final months comfortable and as pleasant as possible. My dad was very well looked after at Beechcroft and the staff are very caring and professional. Thanks again for making Dads passing as peaceful as possible. I would highly recommend this care facility to anyone looking for elderly care for a loved one.
My dad was a resident at Beechcroft Residential Nursing Home for 10 months after he fell and broke his hip at his home. The high standard of care he received was second to none and nothing was ever too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The home was very clean and fresh, the food was tasty and dad was always smart and well looked after. No matter what time we called to see dad, we were met with friendliness and an offer of a cuppa! During the last weeks of dad's life, our family was included in all aspects of his care and decision making and we received kindness and support from all the staff. We cannot praise Beechcroft highly enough.
My mother and father were residents at Beechcroft home until their recent deaths. The care staff at the home are extremely hard working and show genuine care, attention and respect for the residents. In the months leading up to their passing, our family received much support from all staff from management down. Many went the extra mile (and more!) showing much patience with my father who had dementia. I can't thank them enough.
With living a long distance away, I pop in to see Mum at all hours within reason when I can as I am working through the day. Staff are always so polite and caring. No matter what time I arrive, Mum's room is so clean and tidy and Mum always looks clean and smart. They do all they can for her and I cannot praise them enough - they are all so caring and deserve a medal. Well done to all the team.
The standard of care and compassion shown to my Mum by all the staff has been wonderful. Beechcroft has a real caring community feel and at a time when I didn't really want to think about nursing care or a home. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to have mum cared for in her latter months than at Beechcroft. We reviewed many homes for my mum and selected after careful thought Beechcroft. The manager and staff were always caring, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you for making such a very difficult and sad time, of course, less difficult. We sincerely appreciate all your care and wonderful attention.
