My mum lived at The Old School House from April 24 until her death in December 2024.It was very clear from the moment we came that this was a fantastic place full of caring and loving staff. My mum received outstanding care until the moment she passed away.
The staff were exceptional and the food
was always a big event with lots of speciality days built in. The wide array of activities on offer was absolutely outstanding and was due to the fundraising and comittment of the Events Coordinator and her colleagues.
When my mum was placed on end of life care the team were so caring to my mum and our family and never left her side when we popped home etc.
Placing my mum in care was one of the hardest things ever but I felt very lucky that we found somewhere like the Old School House for her to spend the last period of her life.
