The staff are very good and I am included in all activities. I enjoy my food and it is all home cooked, beautiful puddings!

After a tough decision regarding my parents-in-law, to had to reside with them in a care home. The hard part was making a decision that would be best for them both. Although the dementia had gripped my father-in-law, my mother-in-law's memory is good, she has bad mobility so could not stay at home
alone, and they wanted to be together. We came across Cranswick by accident. We had a meeting with the manager, and met a few staff members, had a look around, and didn't need an appointment for this! They also could take my parents-in-law together. We did a respite period to see how they got on. And made this permanent a few weeks later. After worrying constantly when they lived at home, getting called in the early hours because my father-in-law was having hallucinations and my mother-in-law was scared. My mother-in-law is very opinionated & blunt, but she says she likes the food, the staff, and their room. To be able to visit, and leave, knowing they are safe, looked after, and cared for is priceless.

My grandparents are being well looked after here. They are happy and comment on how much care they are being given. My nanna and grandad are in a room together, so the home has been very accommodating from the minute we registered them. Thank you!

The care I receive here at the home is a very high standard compared to the previous home I stayed at. The staff here are so kind and nothing is any trouble to them. The man in charge is so lovely the food is excellent lovely and warm and tasty. My room is spacious and always clean and I have a
comfy bed. All my friends who visit along with my son have agreed it is the best place ever and I feel so safe here.

Excellent care home friendly staff who go above and beyond to make both Mum and myself feel safe and they have been so kind towards us both and visitors, Mum's rooms are lovely and clean at all times. The meals look, smell, and taste yummy as Mum said so. They treat Mum with great respect and
dignity and the management is fantastic too. I would highly recommend Cranswick Lodge to anyone. I'd give a score of 10 out of 10!

Although my father has only been a resident for a few weeks. I have found the home very good and the management and staff I have met. My father seems quite happy and we feel a lot better knowing he is safe and well looked after.

All of the staff have made my father's move to Cranswick Lodge as easy and comfortable as possible. All of the staff are polite and cheerful, always speaking to me and my family, as well as my father. I cannot fault any aspects of the care we have been given as a family.

Cranswick Lodge, what a superb example of how a residential home should be and run. From management to every member of staff who made my dad's last few weeks in care a comfortable caring stay. I couldn't find any faults and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for perfect care for their loved

Cranswick Lodge is how a good care home should be, they genuinely care not only for the resident but for the family. Respect and dignity were shown by everyone we encountered there. I really cannot thank them all enough for the service they provide. Always a friendly smile and the offer of a cuppa
in a clean and safe environment. Cannot rate them highly enough, perfect.

My mother has had a difficult time since July. The staff have been very supportive with both myself and my mum. She has advanced dementia and can be difficult at times but the staff have adapted to her changing needs and moods. The home has changed very much for the better over the past year and now
is homely and welcoming, with lots going on to keep the residents engaged and happy. This is down to the hard work of the manager and deputy manager and the great care staff and support staff.

I cannot praise the management and staff at Cranswick Lodge enough. Mum has almost been at the home for two years, where she has gone from strength to strength. She is loved, cared for and treated with care and dignity.

My father needed residential care urgently on a permanent basis. The manager and deputy manager went above and beyond to make it happen quickly. My dad is extremely happy and content in the home and, most importantly, safe. The staff are all attentive and supportive. Excellent communication. The
home is clean and tidy. Excellent activities and my dad is enjoying regular home-cooked meals! I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

The staff were so welcoming to my mother, made her feel at ease. Treated her with care and fully supported her when she became unwell. Were polite and courteous to me and my family at all times. I would recommend the care home.

Since the appointment of the new manager in 2022 at Cranswick Lodge, my mum is looked after to a very high standard. It has been transformed into such a nice place for mum to live. The team care about Mum and always do their very best to meet her needs and make her as comfortable as possible. My mum
is very happy here and sees the staff as her family. I very much appreciate that the manager always has time to discuss any concerns about Mum and she fully explains any changes that happen at the home and keeps me very well informed. I would not hesitate in recommending Cranswick Lodge as a home to anyone who needs care.

Took Dad for respite for two weeks with a view to calling Cranswick Lodge his 'forever home'. The manager and deputy manager, along with all their staff, could not do enough on the days my sister and I visited, and the day we then took dad, to the day he went to stay this month. They went out of
their way with all aspects of his care to make him feel welcome and safe in his environment, which he hadn't felt for a long time. After only the first day, he had settled in well and we felt confident all his needs would be met above and beyond. Thank you.

I visited my mother-in-law on her birthday and was very pleased with how I found her. I ate at Southlands and the food was very good. She seemed to be very well cared for which I was obviously very pleased about. The latest management structure seems to be much better than previously.
