My grandfather spent three weeks at Tollesby Hall Care Home and the standard of care was very poor. Staffing levels were inadequate, and he was left waiting over 30 minutes for help with basic personal care. His health and hygiene declined noticeably, and he developed a urine infection that was not
acted on promptly, despite concerns being raised earlier by physiotherapy staff. I was also given incorrect information about his medication by the senior nurse, which raised serious concerns about clinical oversight. Communication from management was inconsistent, and after submitting a complaint I received no meaningful response. Moving him out was the best decision, and I would not recommend this care home based on our experience.

Mum was at the home for 8 months from hospital to passing away. During that time she was well cared for and got on well with staff. Food was not always to her liking but she never went hungry. She was allowed posessions from home and to make the room her own with wall hangings, photos and smarts
speaker. At E.O.L she was very well attended and the staff helped us through that difficult time. I am satisfied with the service provided.

My Dad was in Tollesby hall for a short time. All the staff were amazing. The care he received was outstanding. We as a family were also well supported. The nurses listened to us and we're proactive. The healthcare assistants were amazing. Went above and beyond on every shift. Housekeeper was very
supportive and my Dad loved seeing her. My Dad obviously wanted to be home, but the support from staff helped him accept he where he was safe. His food was fabulous. I can't find any fault with Tollesby hall. You should be proud of the staff. We will remember your care, compassion, commitment, courage communication and competence. Thankyou once again. I'll makes me want to work there as the atmosphere is wonderful.

Very happy with the room my mum was given , staff very good and attentive. The food was excellent and there was always staff checking on her . Although not for a long time, Thanks so much for looking after my mum while she was in there

Tollesby Hall Care Home is the best care anyone could want the staff are amazing excellent in all areas my best friend is staying there and he loves it's very professional 24/7 wtih the care 5 star standard well done to all team and big thank you.

My husband was a resident for over 6years before he past away in 2023 the care and support was excellent the nurse were really outstanding had a great rapport with my husband which I'm still in touch with them highly recommended them

Sadly, mum only spent a week at Tollesby Hall. However, the care she received was fantastic. Mum died with dignity and was looked after by very caring staff. We were looked after too. Nothing was too much trouble.

My wife was admitted to Tollesby Hall on Friday 13th June 2025 and spent 5 weeks in the nursing section before passing away with Alzeimers Decease. Having been discharged from hospital on a Friday afternoon into the residential section was not the right decision, I think the home was caught short by
the information given by the hospital. Once moved upstairs to the nursing section proved to be more appropriate.
The care given by the health carers was excellent and the nurses are very professional. The private room was large and airy with ensuite.

My auntie spent the last four days of her life at Tollesby Hall and was cared for exceptionally well. The staff were all so kind and helpful, showing so much respect and professionalism yet remaining compassionate. Our family were all extremely well looked after, given copious amounts of food and
tea/coffee etc and treated with warmth and understanding. I would certainly recommend this care home to anyone. Thank you.

I cannot praise the staff for all the support and care me and my family have received whilst my dad was a resident. The personal touch the kindness nothing was ever too much and I knew my dad was extremely well cared for and never any doubt. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for

I would just like to say that Tollesby Hall Care Home is a friendly place and staff are excellent, and have been excellent to my mam. Nothing has been a problem for them. My mam has only been in just under two weeks.

My daughter was in Tollesby Hall Care Home for a very short time. But the time she spent there was very good, the staff were very caring, and the food was very nice and there was good variety. The home was very clean and my daughter liked to sit in the garden which was very nice. She was very happy

The staff were all very caring and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, even though my husband was only with them for a short time they showed compassion to him and also to his family. They were also very quick in noticing any health changes in him and acted quickly to that. The staff were

The staff are so caring towards my mam, they can't do enough for her. Mam tells me the food is lovely, her washing is done every day. On my first visit, as I had driven a long way to see my mam, the staff were so welcoming and helpful and put my mind at ease. They answered all my questions. I can
relax knowing my mam is safe and treated with respect and kindness, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.

On arriving at the care home with my brother-in-law, we were both made to feel very welcome. The home was very nice and clean. The team was very professional, cheerful and friendly. Any queries were resolved promptly.
The staff below were outstanding: Admin, Care Manager, Care Worker, Laundry

The care home exceeded our expectations! A huge thank you to the team from all the family but especially his wife for the care her husband received during the two weeks in respite.

Overall it is a good service. I find the staff to be helpful, pleasant and knowledgable. They always have time to sit and comfort residents when in need even when they are extremely busy. The management is extremely helpful too.
