My late wife was a resident of Glasfryn House from February 2022 until the time of her death on October 21st 2025. I can only praise the quality of her care throughout the period of her time at Glasfryn and in particular, the level of care and empathy shown to me and my family following her passing.
I have aways been treated with the utmost respect, sympathy, and made to feel like part of "the family" at the home. I know that Margaret, my wife, had reached the point where she treated Glasfryn as her "home" and had developed a wonderful relationship with staff and management at Glasfryn House.

This home is genuinely outstanding. I visited all of them. Refurbished - every room is beautiful - the rooms bedding etc are kept immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble and visitors are welcomed. Food and choice faultless. Meeting areas warm friendly - lovely seating. The owner cares - she's made
it her own. The staff are experienced - you will never fail to see staff checking constantly on patients and building brilliant relationships. Lots of staff on shift. They bend over backwards. This is a warm caring home. The people come first - they have great activities and constantly work hard to involve everyone. Every patient will say the same - " They are so nice here". We are thrilled we got our mother in here - don't hesitate grab any vacant room if you can as they are known as one of the best homes. You will never worry leaving a family member here. I wish it had been available when my dad was ill.

We moved my husband's uncle into this home from another in May 2018. The contrast between the two homes was stark. Glasfryn is well run and efficient but most importantly every member of staff I dealt with showed care and concern for him. They were genuinely fond of him and expressed sadness when he
died earlier this month. He was always clean and kept comfortable, he enjoyed his food and every effort was made to engage with him positively. I really can't recommend this care home highly enough.

My mum has been in this home for nine months after a fall and I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the care they give her. She cannot do anything for herself and receives 24-hour care including being fed at mealtimes. She is always spotlessly clean as is her bedding and room. The staff are
very compassionate and caring and I am always kept up to date on how much she has eaten and drunk. The nursing care is outstanding and her pain medication is monitored very carefully to ensure she is not suffering. I had been my mother's carer for many years and said that I would never put in her a home, but following a fall she deteriorated so much that it became impossible for her to have the care she needed with me. Relinquishing her care was the hardest thing I have ever done but we have been so fortunate to find such an outstanding nursing home. I have total peace of mind that she is well looked and I would not hesitate in recommending Glasfryn House.
