My lifelong friend was a resident in Creggan Bahn for 20 months having been unable to continue in her own home due to dementia and it's attendant problems.. With the outstanding care she received whilst a resident she improved immensely being encouraged to eat regularly, receiving medication timeously and engaging in many stimulating activities to help her achieve a safe and undoubted extension to her life .The care and individual attention to their residents is apparent from the moment you enter the premises. The staff were exceptional at every level and every need attended to. As her Power of attorney, I had the difficult decision to make for her safety and well-being and the choice of Creggan Bahn more than met that requirement. This is a welcoming haven as a feeling of goodwill and kindness permeates throughout , My friend received end of life care in a loving and dignified manner and my wife and I could not have got through these difficult times without the support of everyone.

My mum spent her last year in Creggan Bahn. And what a very happy year it was. The staff from manager to domestic are absolutely top notch. For both residents and visitors (meringues and a cup of tea anyone). Making the decision to put my mum into a care home was the hardest one I've ever made. However, from the very start, I knew we had made the right choice in Creggan Bahn. It felt like home, with the staff as extended family. I think for Mum, we became her second family, with staff being her first. Even in her final hours, the care given to my mum, myself and other family was phenomenal. I would highly recommend anyone making the decision we did, just over a year ago, should have this place at the top of their list. Would give more stars, if I could. Thank you all.

My mother has now been a resident in Creggan Bahn Court for 18 months and, without doubt, I can highly recommend the Care and Nursing care that she has received - to the point that both her mental and physical health appear to be better than when she was laterally living at home. Prior to choosing a Nursing Home, relatives have a huge fear that they are making the right decision because some homes have received a bad press - this is definitely not the situation with Creggan Bahn. I have never had any grievances, and if I have any questions or queries, they are dealt with straight away and nothing is too much trouble. All the staff from top to bottom are very personable, friendly, kind, caring and helpful. To conclude, Creggan Bahn is a fantastic place to live out the sunset of your life - in luxury with good food and home comforts and with a first class Medical Team who can attend to all your needs.

I have to say that I had reservations about my Mum going into Creggan Bahn as it was so big, I was frightened she would get "lost" as she was more or less confined to bed. I could not have been more wrong. From the very beginning, Mum was so well cared for and, despite having advanced Alzheimer's, she very quickly settled and knew that she was very safe there. She trusted the staff implicitly and they very much became her family, who loved her in return. As well as looking after Mum so well, the staff also looked after those of us who had been caring for Mum up until that point, right to the very end. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, from domestic staff right up to managers. The staff are the epitome of the word care. Words cannot express my heartfelt gratitude towards them all. My Mum had advanced alzheimers and when she could no longer be cared for in her own home, we had to look for a care home to look after her. Words can never express how thankful I am to have found a home like Creggan Bahn. From the first time I visited the home I could tell it was a happy and welcoming place to be. My Mum spent just over a year in Creggan Bahn and the care, companionship, fun (banter) and friendship that mum and all her family received was first class. All the staff, and I really do mean all the staff, are excellent and every time I stepped in the front door to visit Mum I felt as if I was going into my extended family home. At the end of Mum's life, the care, nursing, compassion and support that Mum and her family received was beyond expectation and very gratefully received. Putting a loved one into a care home is a massive decision for most families but if you find yourself in this position then I couldn't give a higher recommendation than Creggan Bahn Court.

I couldn't have asked for a better care home for my Granny. Creggan Bahn is a wonderful, secure and clean care home where my Granny thrived. Their kind and caring staff are their biggest asset, if I could give more than 5 stars for care and support from their staff I would, they treated my Granny as a family member which put our minds at ease, as well as being kind and supportive to family members whenever we went to visit - thank you.

I could not have wished for a more loving and caring home for my grannie. The last year has been very difficult for our family.... But not for grannie. She was so comfortable and well cared for. They treated her lovingly and respectfully, they became part of our family. Their care didnt stop with grannie, there was always caring ear, shoulder to lean on or a good cup of tea when things seemed tough. This care home is second to none.

The standard of palliative care at Creggan Bahn is excellent. My mother's needs were anticipated and addressed by the in-house nurses without having to wait for district nurses to arrive. The basic nursing care provided by carers was second to none allowing my mother to have a peaceful and dignified death. I can't thank staff enough.

Very well looked after, had a very big operation on bowel in September. Spent three weeks at Creggan Bahn. My husband has been there for nearly two years.

My dad has been in Creggan Bahn Court for 17 months. He is very well cared for and is happy with his care. One area of improvement would be to stimulate dad more. He loves doing crosswords, playing cards and watching football and cricket on TV. Unfortunately, he no longer does his Herald crossword or read his daily newspaper. It would be great if he could spend more time with able residents.

Our mum moved into Creggan Bahn Court around 3 years ago and very sadly passed away last month. Mum had always very much valued her independence so after a series of falls, hospital stays and becoming wheelchair bound, it was tough for her to give up this independence for full time care. It definitely took time and a few bumps in the road to adjust to a new life dependent on others for just about every basic need. But the care mum received was excellent. However I am almost lost for words to describe just how exceptional the nursing staff were towards the end of mum's life. They made sure mum was always pain free and at the end peaceful and very comfortable. I'm sure most people - as indeed I - had rarely thought about what 'end of life' actually means. All I can say is, you want the kind of experience, expertise and loving care this nursing team devote to you at the end. Their support of us as a family and the care, tenderness and concern for my mum still brings a lump to my throat.

My parents moved into Creggan Bahn Court in November 2023 and I have been so impressed with the level of communication, care, and compassion our family has received from our first inquiry until now. My Mum sadly passed away in February and the staff were absolutely phenomenal in the way they cared for us as a family but especially the care and empathy shown to my Dad. It was a huge comfort to my sister and me that we knew he had support, care, and people to talk to in the home. Also, the level of care for my mum, who was quite unwell and bed-bound after she arrived, was fantastic in the short time she was there. Since then my Dad has settled well and enjoys activities, especially playing dominoes with other residents in the evening and getting out on the rickshaw bike along the seafront. The food is good and all the staff have been so welcoming, friendly, approachable, and professional. Thank you so much for all the care you have given us. I would highly recommend this care home.

Of course, there are niggles here and there. These should not diminish the exceptionally high standards overall. The "House matron" alone is juggling general balls in the air at one time all day effortlessly. I hope my impression is not alone. I think clients, visitors, and staff seem to echo my views expressed.

Our friend became a resident at Creggan Bahn in January this year. This has been a very difficult time for us all. All staff have been very kind and supportive to us as a family. Any issues have been dealt with immediately. Creggan Bahn certainly aims to make you feel relaxed and that this is a home-from-home. We feel we have made the right decision to have our dear friend a resident here. We can only express our grateful thanks to all.

My mum and dad came to stay in Creggan Bahn in November and sadly my mum passed away in February. Even though she was only there for a short time the staff really got to know her and her care was of the highest standard. The care she received at the end of her life and the care and empathy shown to us as a family, particularly my dad, both at the time and subsequently has been exemplary. Creggan Bahn staff do not treat their residents as merely residents and this is a place where the ethos from the top down is definitely putting the care into care home. Thank you all.

Excellent care around the time of the death of my mother-in-law. All staff showed exemplary care of her and her husband, and were sensitive and supportive of them and the close family. This extended to taking the trouble to ensure my wife had food and drink in the middle of the night, initially contacting the funeral directors, and explaining all processes and procedures carefully, calmly and respectfully, in advance of anything being done. The staff managed to combine complete professionalism with a genuine emotional empathy, and were friendly and supportive throughout. This is a great tribute to the ethos, training and culture of the care home.

A big thank you to all members of staff at Creggan Bahn Nursing Home for the amazing care, compassion, kindness and friendship they gave my relatives and all the family over the last 11 years. The dedication and love they showed Mum and Dad shone through on every visit and will always be remembered and appreciated.

Creggan Bahn Court is a caring, luxurious environment for my family member. It offers stimulating activities when residents are able to take part. All staff are caring and approachable and try their best. The food is well presented and prepared, offering assistance if required. The environment is clean and warm. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our friend became a resident at Creggan Bahn in January this year. This has been a very difficult time for us all. All staff have been very kind and supportive to us as a family.
