View Full Details of Coopers Court - Sanctuary Supported LivingI arrived to visit my aunt, and was greeted by staff, who gave me an update on my aunt without prompting. They told me of their efforts to bring my aunt down from her room, to include her in the activities. They invited me and auntie to a picnic in the park, which turned into a wheelchair walk with one resident on foot. The residents were escorted across the roads to the park, before returning to have their picnic in Coopers Court Garden. The two activity coordinators, ensuring everyone was fed and watered, and had interactions, amongst the residents and one to one interactions. Well done activity coordinators. Well done Coopers Court.
My mother is in her 80’s and disabled and has been in Coopers Court for over a year. The home has two elements, the care side who deals with the care of residents and the housing management side. The managers of both teams are exceptional. The managers and their teams do everything they can to help and provide support. Openly approachable, extremely professional and always have time to listen and help any way they can. They go over and beyond duty and get things done which is very reassuring in a very friendly, open and welcoming environment. Covid has made circumstances very difficult but the priority is always the safety of residents and staff and there is much reassurance in this. The residents are all a really lovely bunch of people, easy to get along with, friendly, kind and made my mother and the family feel welcome from day one along with all the staff there. The culture of Coopers Court is professional, very friendly and reassuring.
My mother-in-law, who is 90, and my sister-in-law, who has special needs, moved into Coopers Court - Sanctuary Retirement Living on 10th February. I cannot praise the staff and the place enough. They have never been happier. The staff are friendly and constantly checking up on them. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They all go above and beyond their duties. The activities have not started up yet (due to Covid) but I have heard they are brilliant Lovely place and super staff.
