Mum has lived at Eve Belle since it first opened. In all that time, we have always been absolutely thrilled with the care mum has received. The staff are simply the best; kind, considerate, respectful, just everything we could wish for, and more. It goes without saying that the home is a real 'home
from home', with great activities and wonderful food.
We have recommended it to so many people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do.

My father was very well cared for in all areas, which was a huge relief to me. Everyone was incredibly helpful and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Eve Bell to anyone who needs this type of care.

I found all areas of my husbands care excellent. All staff were caring and made his life stay fun, when he could respond. When my husband entered Eve Belle, his behaviour was challenging but staff, who showed patience at all times. I was kept up to date of his medical needs changes at all times. I
was also treated with respect and welcomed into the home.

I find the staff at Eve Belle to be exceptional, they do a job that I can't undertake and they do it with professionalism and love.
I have never had cause for complaint plus I can rest easy knowing my dad is cared for in my absence and is being given care that we or my family are unable to
provide. Great team effort from them all.

We brought Mum to Eve Belle in April 2025. Sadly, she only had 6 months before she passed, but I must say, she had the time of her life. Eve Belle put the light back on in Mum's life. She called it the hotel! So thank you one and all.

I can't recommend Eve Belle enough. The care provided to my Nan has been incredible. Visiting her is a wonderful experience and I am safe in the knowledge that her every need is catered for. The staff are so kind and really seem to care for each individual, knowing their personalities and
likes/dislikes. The home has the most amazing facilities and feels like a 5-star hotel. I will be forever grateful for all they have done for my family.

My mum came in on 19/3/24 and the kindness shown towards not only Mum but also my dad, my aunts and myself is so appreciated. The staff have been truly wonderful and we know that Mum will be safe and well cared for at Eve Belle.

The day my uncle arrived at Eve Belle, the staff came and introduced themselves. They made him so welcome and I was impressed with how friendly yet professional they were. The move couldn't have gone any better and the welcome meal our family had with my uncle was a nice touch and really helped him
to settle in. The accommodation is truly exceptional, like a five-star hotel. I would stay here myself! My uncle's room is kept spotless. Since he moved here, the transformation in my uncle has been incredible! The icing on the cake has been his wonderful birthday party. We were overwhelmed.

Dad came in for a 6-week stay after he fell and fractured his hips and the care he received helped him to thrive in a safe environment whilst he regained his mobility and independence and took the pressure off his family. All the staff have been amazing, both in caring for his physical needs and
also by encouraging him to come out of his room and participate in the numerous activities. Even his grandchildren have enjoyed coming to visit him during his stay. We will forever be grateful to you all.

A big thank you to all the staff who have cared for my mum since she moved into Eve Belle last June.
After many trips to A & E due to falls and ill health it was decided she needed full time care in a safe and secure environment. Eve Belle has provided all of this and more. This includes
beautiful clean surroundings and relaxing communal areas with daily activities and a hair salon as well as the welcoming and helpful staff (you know who you are!).
It was her 90th birthday last week and she was definitely treated like a "Queen" for the day.
All staff were kind and helpful as usual, surprising her with a cake and later in the evening when our large family, including young children arrived, were very accommodating and friendly.
We have some lovely photos and memories of her day.
Mum can be difficult at times but the staff always keep their calm and treat her with respect and dignity. It takes a real load off our backs knowing she is safe and well looked after.

My mother moved into the Wickford home last Saturday, this was made possible, by the wonderful Senior Customer Relations Manager as both my partner and I work full time and live in the city. The move went very smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. The meal that we could have was such a lovely
gesture and it really helped my mother to settle in, the food was delicious.
Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, the residence looked happy and well cared for.

I went to Eve Belle for an informal visit as I wanted respite care for my mum who suffers from Alzheimer's, I was greeted by one member of staff in particular who was so welcoming, the atmosphere on entering the building was amazing, I felt at ease straightaway, light refreshment was offered before
meeting the senior customer relations manager who was warm and informative, she told me all about the home and what is on offer to Mum. I knew right off that this was the home for Mum, I was very impressed with the accommodation, it is so much more than the traditional care homes, the rooms are spacious, light and airy with ensuite facility, they had on offer wellness therapy and a wide variety of activities for the clients to partake in, the level of care is delivered in a professional way with lots of care and passion. There were specific carers assigned to Mum to keep everything constant and stable for Mum, everyone made her stay so memorable. Whenever relatives visited, they were always warmly welcomed.

Following a terminal cancer diagnosis at the beginning of September, it was necessary to find a full-time care solution for our mum until the services of the hospice were required. We chose Eve Belle Wickford for her care, supported by the palliative care team and district nurses. The home is very
familiar with working with these teams and has a good relationship. Mum's move to Eve Belle was swift within a period of 48 hours, this service was excellent and we arrived to a very warm welcome from all staff who had been fully briefed on her arrival along with a care plan ready. Mum's condition deteriorated quickly but Eve Belle worked with us and the palliative care team to adapt and implement amends to meet her needs. The home is beautiful and has all facilities and staff are all dedicated to ensuring the best care and experience is delivered. They work closely as a team regardless of their roles. Value for money is excellent. Highly recommend and thank you for the care our mum received.

Respite care for my father. I would like to thank all the staff for looking after my father in respite care so nicely, in such lovely surroundings. He doesn't want to be in a care home and likes to live at home but to give us some respite he agreed to come in for two weeks where he engaged in lots
of activities and a trip out to a castle. If considering a care home you can feel confident your loved one will be well looked after here. If there is availability and we need respite care again, we wouldn't hesitate to use your services again in the future.

My mum was having several falls as she was forgetting to eat and drink, even when everything was prepared for her as much as possible. She didn’t go out unless it was a Wednesday morning where she attended a coffee morning where she lived. Her clothes were often dirty as she tended to wear the same
clothes all the time. Since coming to Eve Belle she hasn’t had any falls, looks really well in herself, wears clean clothes and even has her hair done. My mum will never be the same as she has dementia, but at least I know that she is enjoying herself at Eve Belle, joining in with most of the activities and being looked after, in short, the best life she could have under the circumstances. Thank you to all the staff at Eve Belle I can finally relax knowing she is being cared for. The home is more expensive than most but offers so much more, plus residents are respected, no matter what their illness is.
