A lovely first visit over to Nodens Manor to visit our friend. Wonderful team and environment. She is very lucky to have so many caring people around her. She's been there a month and is happy she made the decision to move in. We enjoyed a tea and cake with her - victoria sponge! Thank you.

Mum stayed for a 4 week respite stay when we went on an extended holiday. We were recommended Nodens by a friend, and we were so pleased with everything. Everyone we met was so friendly and happy to help, and mum is already wanting to go back for another stay. We felt assured that she was safe and supported while we were out of the country, which was the best thing for us. Mum enjoyed the choice of food with varied options each day, and she loved the Tai Chi class she joined in on! Thankyou to the entire team.

I visited Nodens Manor a number of times to see and support a friend who lived there. She was very happy during her long stay there, and well cared for in her final days. The team appeared caring, thoughtful and kind, supporting us and her with any requests. Nothing felt too much of an ask, and we were always made to feel at home as much as she was. She has a lovely room which opened onto a garden which she thoroughly enjoyed on the sunny days, and she made some wonderful friendships. We wouldn't hesitate to call Nodens Manor if we needed to come into a home one day after seeing how happy our friend was there. Thank you to the whole team for making her so happy in your care.

My mother visits regularly for respite care, she always has a lovely spacious room. Lovely friendy staff who are happy to accommodate mums needs. Mums is always happy and content and raves how lovely the food is. Always looking forward to going back.

This care home is outstanding. It's like visiting a hotel.The care staff are amazing, always greeting you with a smile and nothing is to much trouble. The care for the residents is also outstanding. I would highly recommend this care home.

My husband stayed at Nodens Manor for a week's respite care, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptionally wonderful care he received! Every detail of his personal needs were thoughtfully taken care of, not only the actual high standard of the accommodation but the excellence and compassion of the staff made him and me feel better for the experience, I'll be happy to leave him again, whenever I need to. A very big thank you to all at Nodens!

I supported my mum to look for a home for my Nan. From the moment we walked into Nodens Manor we were welcomed in a way that made us feel like it would be caring place for Nan to stay. The process was easy to go through and the Front of House Lady gave us all the information we needed to make a decision. The entire team were informative throughout her stay, with nothing too much of an ask. Nan is now no longer with us, but in the time she stayed at Nodens she was well cared for and ever so happy. She made new friends and was visited by many old friends in the home, who were also made to feel comfortable during their visits. We can't thank the team enough for all they did for Nan and us through her stay. We'd reccomend Nodens over and over again to anyone considering a place here.

Mum has resided in Nodens Manor now for 6 months as she was no longer able to live safely at home due to her dementia. We are truly thankful that we found such an amazing place for her. It is such a welcoming, friendly home, in fact, it is like one big family. We love that we can visit at any time, the staff always greet us with a smile and the care they give to Mum is outstanding! Her room, en-suite and shared areas are always spotless, the home-cooked food always smells lovely and the unlimited supply of freshly made cakes are a real treat! We cannot recommend Nodens highly enough.

My mother initially came to Nodens Manor for a period of respite care. She was greeted by lovely staff who made her feel welcome. Since then she has become a resident and is so happy, relaxed and contented. She now regards this as her home, where she feels safe and secure. As her son I visit on a regular basis and the improvement in her demeanour is brilliant. I have seen the withdrawn, person she was, become a person who loves to be involved in the many and varied activities in the home. The staff are very approachable and always go the extra mile to make sure she is OK and treated with dignity. Mum has commented that 'all you have to do is ask and it happens'! High standards of care are evident throughout the home. The building, a new build, is an example of how all care homes should be and can be regarded as outstanding in all aspects of care.

Just a short visit to see Mum over an afternoon. Lots of supportive staff in place in a lovely, luxury care home. Dementia is a cruel disease, but it's always reassuring that Mum is in a safe place with the right qualified people around her. So pleased we found Nodens Manor for Mum.

Nodens Manor is honestly the best care home I have ever seen. As a nurse for over 30 years, I have seen many and this one is truly outstanding. It sets the standard for how all care homes should be. Residents are treated with dignity and there is a very high standard in all aspects of care. Nothing is too much trouble and all staff are very friendly and approachable.

We often come to visit our friend and each time we have been treated with utmost respect and politeness. Our friend is always at ease and comfortable, there seems to be an overall comfortableness and helpfulness always at hand for the people living here.

We moved Mum up to Nodens Manor from another area after our family moved to the Forest of Dean last spring. Nodens Manor stood out head and shoulders above the other homes that we looked at and we have been delighted with our choice. The staff are fabulous; delightful, caring, competent and such a pleasure to interact with whether by Mum or us, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The facilities are first class and every aspect of Mum's care and needs are being met in the best possible way. Hard to beat and highly recommended!

From initial contact to the end of my dad's respite stay the whole experience has been amazing. We looked around, filled out paperwork and it was all very calm and professional. The bedrooms (with your own wet room) are beautifully finished, staff are kind, polite and helpful. We never felt rushed, overlooked or disregarded. I've been in an out all times or day and evening and there was always a smile and someone happy to help with even the most minor of queries. My dad was well cared for and treated, his views and preferences were respected throughout his stay. The whole experience was made totally stress free, even though it was short notice. Extremely happy and a huge thank you to everyone there.

When visiting our friend regularly we have been very impressed with the care and attention. The staff on duty show they are respectful and provide opportunities for our friend to join in with which cater to differing personalities and interests. The home has excellent facilities and carers for a variety of disabilities.

From initial contact through to viewings, coffee morning as a familiarisation process and admission for respite care, my father received the friendliest of welcomes from all members of the team. Staff quickly got to know his character and tailored interactions and support, engaging with him in a wonderful and positive manner. The environment is delightful and immaculately maintained, resembling a hotel experience for the residents. Communication with families was faultless and responses were swift by email, phone, social media and newsletters. Staff at all levels knew, cared for and interacted effectively with him. My father enjoyed the food and menu choices and was very comfortable in his well-equipped and spotlessly clean room. This was a very positive first experience of respite care and we felt that the team had created a caring, supportive home/hotel-like environment including fabulous enrichment activities and experiences for the residents.

Thank you to the staff at Nodens Manor Care Home for the dignity shown to our dearly loved Uncle in his final days of life. Your care and dedication towards him and his family were impeccable. We truly feel we made the right decision in placing him into the Nodens Manor Family for his final year of life. His days were filled with music, days out and more importantly, the feeling of being in a fantastic homely environment with staff that truly cared. Thank you.

Nodens brought great comfort to my grandparents and also to the family who visited them. My grandparents were well looked after, kept clean and well-fed. They always told me how lovely the staff were, and they liked the food. When Nan died, the staff consoled us, took care of us and treated us with dignity. When Grandads condition deteriorated, the staff acted promptly and appropriately by calling 999, so his final days could be made more comfortable. Thank you, Nodens.

My wife spent 2 weeks in respite care at Nodens Manor. Beforehand I was anxious about how she would cope. I need not have worried. All the staff were wonderful throughout her stay. I cannot thank them enough. Knowing she was in such good hands enabled me to get the most out of her stay. A truly wonderful place.
