View Full Details of Kings CourtFrom our first contact in January to my dad entering Kings Court as a resident, Dad and I have had a very caring and considerate experience from all the staff. Nothing has been too much trouble. I live in New Zealand and have been in the UK to settle dad into care after his house sale. All my concerns and worries about leaving dad have been met with kindness and a 'we will handle everything' attitude. Thank you so much to all at Kings Court.
On my first visit to Kings Court, I thought it was like a hotel. Very spacious, clean and airy, with helpful and obliging staff who smiled. On the tour round the care home I felt calm and happy vibe, the staff appeared to have a great interaction with the residents. There were a few things in my father in laws room that needed sorting out on his arrival and they were addressed swiftly. My husband and I live in New Zealand, we both feel reassured that we have made the right choice for his care and he will be well looked after.
From my first contact with the manager who came to assess me, to today when I am leaving, I cannot fault the staff. They have all been excellent. The facilities are first class and are kept to a very high standard. I was only at Kings Court on respite following a full knee replacement so didn't join in the activities as I had to keep my leg up to prevent the swelling in my foot and leg. I was treated with dignity and the staff could not do enough for me even when they were very busy. My overall experience was excellent and I will be back as I have to have another full knee replacement.
I was here to visit my grandmother for the first time, and I think it's a lovely place. My grandmother says that she feels well looked after and we all can see that too! Very clean and lovely place. When I compare it to homes in Switzerland or Germany, this is a brilliant place for old people. The staff was ever so friendly and helpful, especially two of them.
Until recently, my mother has never been able to fully accept that she needs to have wrap-around residential care. I feel that this acceptance is due to the level of care she receives and the degree of empathy shown to her by staff. I also think it relates to the confidence we both have in staff understanding and taking into consideration her complex needs. I always feel I can ask to speak to a senior staff member to discuss any concerns. Thank you all.
My sister has improved in her health and well being since moving into Kings Court where she received round the clock care from the staff who treat her as one of their own.
Excellent, super-friendly service. Mum loved it and will be back again in May. She enjoyed the films at the cinema. Back for a visit to see all the friends she made and is missing. Lovely varied food.
My sister in law has settled in to Kings Court really well and I can't envisage her wanting to live anywhere else. She loves the staff and they look after her with care and compassion.
Mum had to come into Kings Court following a house fire - I met the front-of-house manager on the 9th Jan and she showed me around and her chat gave me the confidence to bring Mum to Kings Court and all the staff are 100% excellent. Mum has settled well and is very comfortable. I would highly recommend Kings Court to anyone.
Kings Court Middlebeck is truly a wonderful care home. It is warm, cosy, spotless and the staff are wonderful. I visit on a regular basis. The residents are always smiling, which is wonderful to see. The rooms have a home from home feel. Various activities take place, from entertainment, bingo, crafting to name but a few. The front of house manager, is welcoming and sympathetic, and like the staff, is always prepared to go the extra mile. Thank you all.
Since our first visit, we have been impressed with the quality of the facilities offered at King's Court and the kindness, courtesy and care offered to residents. A particular strength is the quality of activities provided e.g a Christmas themed activity on offer everyday in December and the opportunity for family to join their loved one on Christmas Day for Christmas lunch. We are more than happy with King's Court and all that they provide.
From our initial visit to view, through to check-in on 5th Jan, we have had a relaxed and stress-free time at Kings Court. Our rooms are comfortable and modern, we are impressed by the professional and welcoming staff. All our needs are met and our queries are answered. We are enjoying the food very much too. Highly recommended.
My mother-in-law has been at King's Court for 3 months now. I am very happy with the care she is receiving. Her room is bright and comfortable, her bathroom could not be better. Everything is very clean. There is always plenty of staff available. The carers are cheerful and always ready to help. They do not impose any unwanted routine and she chooses when and what she does. We had a lovely Christmas lunch with her and other residents: the lunch was superb!
My mum was admitted in August when we were about to return to Australia at short notice. The staff were fantastic and of great assistance. Mum is very happy in Kings Court and has a lovely room and enjoys the craft facilities and food. Living so far away in Australia it is a great relief Mum is safe and well cared for by great staff.
Kings Court has been consistently supportive. The staff have gone above and beyond in welcoming our family member.
We cannot rate Kings Court highly enough! Our relative was so apprehensive about residential care but Kings Court provides a real home-from-home atmosphere. We have watched our relative come alive again, eating wonderful food (with a glass of wine) living independently with help from the staff who are all excellent and cater for the individual needs. Just wonderful.
Very pleased. Excellent overall experience. The home and staff have all been excellent for Mum. Thank you!
Staff looked after me very well. Very grateful for all your undivided attention.
Walking through the doors for the first time was very calming. The staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. My sister was shown around and into her lovely clean and fresh bedroom. The food looked appetising and the smell was lovely. So pleased with it all, the staff smiling and helpful. Any problems the staff had, they talk to us and help my sister feel at home. So pleased with it all.
Kings Court is a beautiful care home. Whenever I visit the atmosphere is always pleasant and the residents are well cared for. My sister-in-law's room is always very clean and tidy, it looks well-kept. I would not hesitate to recommend Kings Court to family and friends, the staff are very caring and always listen to our concerns and keep us informed of my sister-in-law's progress. Well done and keep it up.
