View Full Details of Copperfield CourtToday we have visited spontaneously. On arrival Adam could not have been more helpful in finding my gran. The facilities are great. I feel like she is in a hotel. She is always happy here.
She is being looked after so well. The staff are kind, professional & extremely patient.
I haven't lived at Copperfield for long however, I must say, so far so good. I have enjoyed the cakes, hot drinks & the cigarette breaks. The care staff are lovely & they cant do enough for all of us.
Living at Copperfield Court is amazing. I am always kept busy doing all sorts. If I'm not busy here, I go out a lot on trips. The food is lovely. I am very happy here.
Homely fantastic food staff very friendly could not wish for better.
I am beyond satisfied with every aspect, staff are fantastic, friendly and go above and beyond for the residents. Immaculate in all areas of the home and the food is outstanding. What a gem!
The building is new and bright, and the staff are friendly and have a sense of humour. The amenities are well laid out, with spacious lounges and dining areas, wide corridors, and small side rooms for family and private visits. The clients' rooms are en suite with comfortable furnishings and a reasonable amount of storage.
One word - Excellent. There is not one thing I would change. It is so unbelievably lovely. I feel so lucky to be here.
I used to care for a wonderful lady whose care needs sadly increased, and I wasn't able to continue providing her care. As a regular visitor to Copperfield Court, I can see how attentive, supportive and genuinely caring the staff are. This has reflected on my previous client, who is now glowing. Thank you for making a sad story have a happy ending.
Our visits to Copperfield are always a joy. My Mum is so happy here.Staff are always very plesent, knowledgeable, friendly. Don't forget get the cake. Mum's very comfortable. News papers, hairdressing, all included. Well done all .
Copperfield Court are so welcoming. They were able to set up a little party for my 3 year old daughter so her great grandma could attend. Nanny has really settled in and is so happy there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. She is thoroughly enjoying all the activities. Thank you for everything.
I arranged an appt to be shown around the home with dad, for respite care. We were impressed with the rooms and how friendly the staff were. The staff I dealt with regarding finance side were very helpful. The home visit prior to respite care was very thorough. Dad was well looked after for the 2 weeks and I had confidence in the home while I was away. Booked in again in a few weeks time.
From the moment we arrived, the warm, welcoming atmosphere, along with the friendly and engaging staff, put us at ease. The staff's dedication the the residents is commendable, making Copperfield Court more than just a care home, it's a nurturing place. I highly recommend Copperfield Court for anyone seeking a caring environment for their loved ones. Thank you for making this time easier for our family.
I am so happy with the care my mother receives at Copperfield Court. The staff treat her with dignity and respect. The activities are so engaging and have made Mum come alive. She's got her sparkle back and I'm sure it's the interaction with staff and many varied activities they do. The food is very good and it's lovely to see Mum sitting at the dining table interacting with the other residents there. There are lovely outdoor spaces for the residents to sit when the weather's good. Mum enjoys being outside especially this time of year. I really enjoy visiting her there.
Staff very helpful & welcoming. Friend is looked after extremely well. Facilities are excellent.
Mum arrived at Copperfield Court in a bit of a sorry state but within a very short amount of time she had put on weight, was eating better and trying hard to participate in the numerous activities available. Everyone is very kind and caring and she is looked after very well. The activities coordinators provide an amazing array of things to do every day which means Mum is no longer spending time on her own in her room. This is really important as she is severely partially sighted. Staff are aware of her difficulties and support her when they can. She has been able to chat to residents, watch films in the amazing cinema room, make clay models, garden, quiz, play bingo, be part of VE Day and birthday celebrations and experience other countries with armchair travel days. This was a tricky move as she had been independent with our support for 5 years but after losing her mobility this was no longer safe. Staff have allowed her to feel safe and secure which means she is happy in her surrounding.
It is with sadness and massive thanks that I write this review on behalf of our Mum, who sadly passed away on February 10th 2025. Mum arrived as resident no.7, in July 2024 for respite care and she never left! It is easy to think they are just a number but from the moment she arrived, it was her home, a vibrant community life and with people who care. It is fair to say, she loved every minute and the biggest credit we can give all the fantastic team members, is that they gave our mum a will to live, at a time when she questioned why and didn't want to be a burden on anyone. If we heard it once .... she told us every day .... "They can't do enough for you in here!" So thank you from the family. x
Copper fields have made the transition from home into care seamless. They have ensured the needs of my parents are met on a daily basis. I feel all the staff have taken the time to get to know the individual preferences of my parents. The home is welcoming at all times.
My mother in law has been in Copperfield for a few months now and is settling well. A well run, friendly, clean and welcoming environment. The staff do an amazing job, from the management to the wonderful carers, housekeepers and kitchen staff etc. Keep up the good work!!
When my sister needed respite care after an op, I researched a suitable care home for her. Copperfield Court stood out head & shoulders above the others. A visit confirmed my initial feelings - it was more like a hotel than a care home! The thing that really struck me though was how friendly EVERY member of staff was. I also noticed the love & care shown to every resident - exactly what I wanted for my sister. She was at Copperfield Court for 3 months & loved it! Staff treated her like a member of their own family rather than a resident. Their philosophy is definitely that they treat residents in exactly the way they'd want their own relative to be treated in a care home...& that extends to visitors. My only problem is that after being totally spoiled by Copperfield Court, my sister now expects a selection of home-made cakes every day, & her clothes washed & ironed within 24 hours!!! Seriously though - I can't say THANK YOU enough to EVERYONE at Copperfield Court. You are my heroes!
