View Full Details of Templeton Place Care HomeWhen my father passed away we had the extremely difficult decision of finding a care home for mum where she has the best Dementia care. From the first visit I sensed mum would be happy. It took a good week for her to settle but the support, friendship and care given by ALL the staff enabled mum to adjust. It's more like a hotel. I love the fact the staff don't wear uniforms, just name badges. Its more personal for the residents and visitors. There's no clinical 'smell' you often find in care homes. All essential support aids are stored away directly after use, leaving the home free from clutter and beautifully tidy. The choice of activities arranged for the residents is fabulous and the management team can often be seen engaging with the residents (as time allows). The meals are superb. The chefs put so much effort into providing nutrition and variety. Nothing is ever too much trouble and it's clear the staff are happy at work. Go and see for yourself - I recommend it 100%.
A beautiful place with kind staff who took good care of Dad. We will definitely be using Templeton again. The rooms are lovely, garden is beautiful and the food exceptional. Thank you.
The experience I have been lucky to have at Templeton Place Care Home has been wonderful in so many ways. I am sorry to be leaving tomorrow however, the time I have spent here will stay in my memories always.
My brother-in-law has dementia and was very unsure of people and surroundings until he came to Templeton Place. The change in him is enormous, he is happy, confident and though sometimes has low points, he knows the staff here care and will always lift his spirits. As a family, we could not have chosen a better home for him.
I cannot find anything to criticise, well done.
My 2 weeks here has done just what I wanted it to, I felt so ill and unable to cope, and couldn't eat. Due to the care of the amazing staff, I am back to my old self. Thank you everyone.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Always someone there if you needed anything. Look after you so well. Completely the right place to stay following an operation. Ideal place to stay.
I spent 6 weeks at Templeton Place. And from the very first I was treated with respect and friendliness. Nothing was ever too much trouble if I needed help, which I did at times. From the very next day of being here all the staff knew my name. I can't fault the place. Also I would recommend it to anyone.
Had a lovely visit and meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. I am certain my grandmother is receiving the best care possible.
We joined my mother for lunch, the staff were welcoming, very friendly and helpful. We found her happy, contented and full of praise for the staff and place. She is well cared for and we feel happy about her future at the care home.
My sister came to Templeton Place for respite care whilst my brother-in-law was recovering post op (he is her day to day carer). Whilst it was a difficult situation for both of them, the staff + Templeton Place were fantastic, offering empathy, they were friendly helpful + courteous to my sister + her family. Infact the quality of care + day to day kindness was fantastic. Customer Relations Manager was fantastic dealing with my sister.
A warm welcoming atmosphere greets you at Templeton Place. Kind, caring homemakers make you feel you belong and are at home. Good choice of activities and excellent food choice. The staff are attentive and give support whenever necessary.
Excellent care. Highly recommend to anyone. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Every action and helpfulness is done with great care and kindness.
I stayed at Templeton Place Care Home for two weeks following a major hip operation. The staff were welcoming, attentive, friendly and their care second to none. They were smiley and encouraging even in the middle of the night. The home itself is beautifully laid out with many lovely facilities; even though entering winter, the gardens are tastefully laid out and very pretty to walk through and look out on. I think there could be a little more effort put into en-suite cleaning and believe this should be done daily, but the rest of the building looked clean and tidily kept every day. On the whole I would recommend this care home.
From the first day my father-in-law was welcomed into Templeton Place, his mood and well-being appeared to lift visibly. After a period of dissatisfaction with the care home he had been in, the positive experience at Templeton Place has been pure tonic. The management and staff are to be congratulated for a job well done. Thank you!
After having a stroke and blood clot and living with dementia, Mum left the hospital and was unable to return to us at home. You have shown her wonderful care, kindness and support. She is eating wonderful meals that are catered for her. Mum is very sociable and she is never alone with you all taking great care of her. We know that even when we are not with her she is getting the best of care.
We visited Templeton Place and wow what a lovely place, luxury by the bag loads, but also a homely feel, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly in showing us around. All our questions were answered.
