Rosewater Place is a lovely Home. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and always ready to help. My partner went in for respite at Christmas and has had several respite breaks there. It is convenient to where we live, so visiting is easy.

My husband, who has advanced Alzheimer's moved into Rose Water in December 2025.
He has taken some time to settle and staff were quick to call him by name and make him feel at home. My husband developed a problem with his foot and was quickly seen by a doctor and district nurse. The food is varied
and there is plenty of choice. All staff we have met have been caring and professional and obviously put the residents first. When visiting we have always found somewhere to be, either in the coffee lounge downstairs or in one of the lounge areas. My husband has been encouraged by the staff to join in with activities. Over all I have been pleased with the standards in the home and feel my husband is in the best place for his current needs.

First impressions were that of walking into a 5 * hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. My mum was won over and her worries were dispelled quickly. All of her many questions were answered and it was made clear they would have many options available to meet their needs throughout their 2 week
respite stay. They settled in quickly and were soon making friends with other clients and found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful.

We found the home 'smart' and clean. Grounds are very pleasant, with good access for wheelchairs. All staff are pleasant and helpful. Activities varied and well organised. We would recommend "Rose Water Place".

Visiting brother and sister in law. We were extremely impressed with the property. All staff so friendly and helpful. Extremely clean and tidy. Beautiful outside area.

Exceptional facilities and nothing is too much trouble. Staff were fantastic, food very good and bedroom very comfortable. Like staying in a luxury hotel. Very quiet home but this was fine for the time stayed., and also could be due to being new and not yet full.

Our family has been very impressed with Rose Water Place since mum became a resident there. The staff are professional, approachable and welcoming when we visit - from the managers to the kitchen and housekeeping staff . When mum has not been well, the care team has dealt with it swiftly and
appropriately, keeping the family informed. There is good consistency of care because Rose Water Place is not reliant on ever-changing agency staff. The residents' rooms are spacious and cleaned / tidied every day. Paintings were hung up on the walls of mum's room within half and hour of asking the maintenance manager. The cafe area where we can help ourselves to a drink and a slice of cake is a nice touch too. The kitchen also baked a delicious birthday cake on mum's birthday. It is very reassuring to know that mum is being well looked after here.

This was the first time I have ever left my mum in respite care and I was rather nervous - but I needn't have been. Mum was extremely well - looked after by caring staff and really enjoyed her time here. She thoroughly enjoyed the activities and was encouraged to join in by the lovely staff member.
She particularly enjoyed the delicious meals and found her room very comfortable. Huge thanks to all the staff for her fantastic care.

When I came to have a look around Barchester Rose Water Place, I was given a very warm welcome from all the staff I met. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the layout, the comfort and the facilities. I was happy to leave my husband there for a week's respite. His room was very homely. The
staff were very helpful and obliging when it became necessary to extend my husband's stay, due to my own illness. When I collected him, he appeared to have been very well cared for. Friends and family who visited him were also very impressed with the standard of the home and the welcome they received.

Head chef and staff went beyond the call of duty to give us a lovely Christmas lunch in the private dining room for four of us for our good friend in residence. P.S. Take your own corkscrew as the home doesn't have one.

Rose Water Place was recommended to us by the Admiral Nurse. After visiting several other homes in the area, we felt it would be very suitable for my wife and this has proved to be the case. The design and layout of the building are excellent, all members of staff are extremely helpful, kind and
cheerful without exception.

My brother has been a resident in Rose Water Place for a month. He has settled well and all staff are dealing with him in a kind and sensitive manner. There is a clear understanding of him and his needs. The group activity is varied and my brother is participating more than I expected. Thank you

We have been overwhelmed by the kindness, support and care given to my aunt and our family by all the staff. Rose Water Place is a homely environment where all the staff make us feel welcome. The food and presentation are of a very high standard with a beautiful dining room. The amazing positive
change in my aunt in the short time she has been there is such a comfort to us. The staff are always so friendly and have time to chat. The cake chef makes everyday for the cafe is something we look forward to and having this family time in a beautiful environment. We cannot thank the staff enough for making this move as smooth as it could be. We had Sunday lunch in the private dining room where we were spoilt with the quality of food and the chef and kitchen assistant were so kind. Thank you for your care and support we are very grateful.
