Lovely surroundings, atmosphere excellent. All residents seem happy and occupied with music and dancing, also games.
The scenes of the TV's Christmas was lovely to see and enables everyone in festive mood.

This is a very sad day for me as it is the realization that my partner is no longer with us. Barbara came to the sister home to Evelyn Court in January 2025.She was quite a challenging case and at times presented very difficult behaviour. As her dementia progressed so did her demands on everyone who
cared for her. In June 2025 she joined the team at the newly built Evelyn Court along with many support staff from the sister home. I have found Evelyn Court to be excellent with regards to its facilities, nothing has been spared in meeting the residents needs. I have always found the staff to be wonderful and I have no words to describe my admiration for every single one of them. On a personal note I have been embraced and supported through some very emotional events with warmth and love and I have drawn such comfort in knowing Barbara's final year was in such a caring environment. I highly recommend Evelyn Court to anyone seeking a quality care provision for their loved one.

Sadly, my husband's stay was very short before he passed away. The surroundings, the staff and the genuine care imparted to me were fabulous.
A beautiful place with beautiful staff that oozed warmth and love to the patients (residents) and relatives.
What was a dreadful time for myself was made
so much more bearable by the care given to me.
It had to be the first step to heaven.
Thank you to everyone of you.

My dad has just moved in to Everlyn Court 2 weeks ago. After visiting numerous care and nursing homes as soon as I walked in to Everlyn court I know it was the right place and by far the best home I visited. The manager and staff were and are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and have their own
toilets and showers. There is a family cafe inside which is really well priced and food is nice. The building is brand new with great outside facilities and it feels more like a hotel than a nursing home. The food is really nice and freshly made for the residents and the home has a nice fresh clean smell compared to many I visited. There is also a hair salon there which is very convenient. This is by far the best nursing home I have been in. They even have family rooms on top floor in case patients are end of life which I thought was a really good idea. Most of the staff I have met have worked for the company for years which to me is a good thing rather than a lot of homes having temporary staff

Mum moved in to Evelyn court rather urgently in July 2025. They were efficient and organised in accepting and welcoming her with open arms providing immediate exemplary care adapted to her individual complex needs. The environment, the building and above all every single member of staff were just
incredible.
There are no words to express how wonderful Evelyn court is. As a family, finding Mum a new home in very stressful circumstances was the most difficult decision we had ever had to make. However, now as a family we almost have a feeling of reward as Mum and our family experienced an exceptional level of care, compassion, efficiency and love when we were all at our most vulnerable.
We are truly thankful to every member of staff for every minute of their time they gave to Mum and us a family.
A very happy place to be, full of happy residents and staff alike. I can honestly say (with having lots of experience in nursing care) Evelyn court is above and beyond in every aspect.

I can't praise Evelyn Court highly enough. During the short time my husband was at the home we received nothing but great care and kindness.
The whole team cared not only for the residents but the families too. Nothing was too much trouble and although my husband was unable to verbalise his
thoughts I'm sure that he would agree that all the staff from managers, medical team, and carers to the catering staff and anyone else in between, cared for the residents with great kindness, with humour and enthusiasm, maintaining dignity and using knowledge and experience too. I could go on ..I would have no hesitation in recommending Evelyn Court to anyone.

My father received excellent care at Evelyn Court. The home it's self is fantastic and a lot of thought has gone in to making residents stay there a stimulating and safe experience but the real asset is the team of staff there.

Outstanding Care home with fantastic facilities. All the staff are amazing & look after Dad so well & with such dignity. Rooms are beautiful with all mod conns & everything required.
The Care home has not been open long but so far couldnt be better.

My father has been in the home for 3 weeks and I can't fault the care received - the Manager has been so supportive and caring, the carers so genuinely caring and lovely and the homemade food is delicious. The rooms are immaculate and the range of activities brilliant.

Due to my mothers ill health but being discharged from hospital, she only managed 4 days at Evelyn Court before she passed away but in those days and especially the final day there were my dad, myself, my brother, and 3 grandchildren all in Evelyn Court and we were so impressed by the
professionalism and genuine compassion shown to us all during my mother's passing.
Their offer of food and refreshments, to the dignity shown to us and my mother at the end will stay with me forever.
I cannot thank the management and staff enough and would gladly and highly recommend Evelyn Court to anyone needing this type of care.

Dad has been in the care of the Team at Evelyn Court ( and previously at a different Care Home) since February 2025.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Team at Evelyn Court, who put smiles on faces every day. Their care and commitment to the residents and their families is outstanding, and every
visit is a pleasure.
The home itself is magnificent, having been designed and built specifically to meet the needs of it's residents, and is testimony to the vision and passion of it's owner.
Evelyn Court is the standard that all Care Homes should aspire to.

My Aunt has been a member of Ashfields family (Heanor) for just over 2 years with the dementia team.
In June 2025 she moved to Evelyn Court. The new building is impressive, more like a hotel than a care home. The facilities are stunning. Excellent parking too.
However, the key to a good home is
the staff. The same staff moved with the residents and continue to provide excellent care. Our loved ones are fortunate to have such a dedicated team who go above and beyond.

My mum always had a beautiful smile for all the staff. They all do a wonderful job with all residents. Sadly mum passed away on 16/072025. The home is 1st class and would recommend to anyone who has a relative who needs 24/7 care. The staff are just wonderful

We don't plan for this or expect it, having to go into care is for me a last resort. But, I can honestly say this care home is the best choice I could have made. I know I can trust the staff to care for my Dad. He's my world, I need to be sure. Evelyn court and all the staff absolutely care. The
residents are catered for as individuals. They are well respected. My dad has been totally looked after from moving in there. The food is excellent, home made, good choices, residents make their own choices and are never made to have anything they don't want. My dad is showered and clean, shaved and well dressed every day. The staff keep me well informed of dad's needs and any questions I have are answered straight away. It is reassuring to know he is cared for so well. I thank all the staff and couldn't wish for better. First class care.

The care that has been, and continues to given to my dad is absolutely amazing. He is happy and content there. The staff are always friendly, pleasant, polite and happy to give updates and advice when needed. The building is absolutely stunning and is always kept clean and tidy. The food is fresh
and looks delicious.

This wonderful specialised place has been opened in June 25- taking residents with them from another care home.
Without reservation, I can say that each and every person involved is exceptional in attitude.
We have had many issues with our family member that resides here , but at Evelyn Court, no
problem is too great.
They keep us informed and take on board our opinions, finding the best solution possible.
Always with the residents best interest at heart.
Besides their great caring qualities they also have a gorgeous environment with a relaxed atmosphere. We're
made to feel welcome always.
I'd recommended Evelyn Court with hesitation and hope that there is space available if or when its my turn to be taken care of.

My Mother-in-law has been with this amazing team of carers for 2 years and they are simply wonderful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They keep you well informed of any issues with your loved ones. They provide the best care possible for their residents. There is always something fun happening,
whether it be baking, activities or even just a chippy tea. We couldn't ask for anything more from this fantastic, caring, professional team of people. They certainly do go above and beyond.
