View Full Details of Aire View Care Home - Avery HealthcareI have always found everybody here at Aire View to be absolutely fantastic They are all incredible and do an amazing job looking after my mum I would not hesitate in recommending Aire view to anyone. Well done to everyone involved
Had a couple of minor issues, brought them to the managers attention and they were sorted within minutes. We had our reservations about putting mum into a care home, however she has settled well and is happy to be living here.
My mum has been a resident of Aire view for 3 years now, I have always found members of staff to be very friendly and helpful, (office staff, carers, activities staff, and cleaning/domestic staff) I have no concerns with my mum's welfare, she has severe dementia but seems happy in herself when i visit. I am always informed of any issues and the staff all seem very caring, the home is always clean and the food looks great. I have no issues with my mum residing at Aire view and it's reassuring to know she is well cared for.
The staff are very caring, the events Co-ordinator brings people alive, it's fantastic, the food is excellent. All very clean. It's just wonderful. She loves Nat king Cole. Really satisfied with everything.
WOW !!! Aire View Care Home in my opinion provides exceptional excellent care from the viewing we had, whilst my mum was in hospital. One staff member in particular is wonderful, she took time to listen and provided a personalised care plan focusing on her needs, very friendly and professional. The care assistants to senior staff and off course team leaders all work extremely hard and are always professional, friendly and supportive to any questions you may have. Aire View comes highly recommended, top stars for cleanliness and safety. Mum has adjusted and settled in nicely and I wish to share a big thank you to all staff for making my mums stay at Aire View a comfortable one.
Clean and welcoming and a friendly environment and I know my sister is well looked after which eases all her family's minds.
I went to visit my friend today who is a resident. Entertainment and refreshments were organised. The entertainer was excellent, engaging the residents, visitors, and staff alike. It was a very uplifting afternoon. Everyone enjoyed themselves, joining in, singing, and dancing. The staff were on hand throughout, and obviously enjoy working there. Well organised, great afternoon. Thank you all.
I was disappointed to hear that a member of staff was pulled up over their lack of punctuation in a piece of written work that they were doing. I would be concerned if their care was lacking towards a resident. They are not at school!
It is a difficult decision to make to place a parent in residential care but Aire View endeavours to make the decision less traumatic. The staff show genuine care and compassion for the residents and my mother who is not always the most positive individual but does value the care she is shown. I also deeply appreciate the care my father was given before his death. I feel every effort is made to make the home a positive experience. Planned upgrading of the rooms would be a protracted scheme at the moment. Would appreciate updates.
Staff all seem very caring and good. Food seems good. Garden is really nice. Rooms are ok. Lounge could be a bit bigger when all residents are present e.g. more seating.
Above all else the level of care at Aire View is exceptional. The staff appear to have a special bond with each of the residents, who in turn have their own specific care requirements. There are regular events and lots of activities to keep the residents entertained. Overall, I think we chose the best care home for my dad's needs. He has settled in really well.
Very pleasant and reassuring visit to my sister in Aire View.
I have very limited knowledge of the facilities, only reception and my sister's room.
Mum really enjoyed her two-week respite stay. Second visit since staying here in June 2023. Staff were professional and caring and treated Mum with dignity and respect. She had a very pleasant stay, and I had a nice rest knowing she was being well cared for and kept safe.
My mother came for 2 weeks respite and was so impressed she asked to stay another 2 weeks.
My friend had recently developed dementia and mental health issues emerged. The staff went right out of their way to be supportive e.g with listing medications. the garden is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained.
Aire View has been really supportive with the whole family over the last few months. We are very happy with the lovely staff team and the friendly atmosphere on floor 2. Questions are always dealt with professionally and appropriately. We love the activities and the chance to see what everyone has been up to on social media, which helps keep the family up to date with Mum.
Best of care provided for the 2 years my mum was in the home, loads more as she approached her demise.
Looking for accommodation for my mother who was diagnosed with dementia and required full time support. I contacted the home and the manager who invited me to visit, which I did. The manager was lovely, knowledgeable about dementia and care that people need. She was very responsive, informative and very caring. The staff were very polite and the overall experience I felt was this was a homely, safe and happy place for my mum.
My mother-in-law has been a resident since January 2023. At first she found it hard to settle but is now well-used to life in care. I have always been impressed by the staff and their treatment of residents. My mother-in-law has a great relationship with them. The staff treat the residents with dignity and respect. The welfare of residents is always a priority. Staff will engage with relatives in discussions about their loved ones. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. I do like the photographs of the various activities which are posted on social media. It's always reassuring to know that residents are continually provided with things to stimulate their mental health and well-being. On the dementia floor things do sometimes go missing but that's only to be expected. I rate this care home very highly.
