My mum has been a resident at Freelands Croft since August 2024.
The home has been very welcoming right from the first day.
My mums level of care is amazing which puts myself my father and sisters mind at rest that she is getting the best possible care.
Staff are very attentive to her needs.
The ladies on Reception Sarah and Mary are always a joy to see as I'm signing in . Luna the deputy
The homes manager is very hands on and knowledgeable on every one of the residents. Her office door is always open if we need to speak to her or she's just an email away.
They have a great range of activities available for the residents and family members join in if they so wish . The home offers a once a month coffee morning on the first Sunday of the month which I love to attend .
The food is of a very high standard and creatively thought out With vegetarian options available at every meal time. The Chef likes to interact with the residents as well . Thanks to all and to Luna deputy manager

My husband at last seems to get involved with activities, but without his hearing aids in he finds it difficult to participate. He was enjoying the colouring sheets but the supply seems to have stopped I provide some but he likes to have two sheets to work on.
I take him out on most of my visits
so that he gets some exercise, he seems to think because of the problem of falling asleep he has to be supervised.

Mum has been at Freelands since July 2025. They have been so kind and made Mum and ourselves so welcome. It felt very strange at first, but now it feels like home to all of us.
The staff and managers are all amazing, thank you.

I cannot praise the staff at Freeland's Croft highly enough. My mother has never been so content, comfortable, or genuinely cared for. They look after her with such tenderness and love that it feels as though she is part of their own family. I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful care
home, and it brings me great peace knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands.
She recently had a chest infection, and thanks to the diligence, attentiveness, and dedication of the staff, she is now well on the road to recovery. I am deeply grateful for everything they do for her each day, I really don't know what I would do without them all. Thank you all very much x

From the moment my mum arrived at Freelands Croft, she was made to feel welcome and comfortable. All the staff are wonderful and have provided incredible support to our whole family.

My mother has been a resident at Freelands Croft for over 2 years now and I have been very happy with the way her needs have been met, as they have changed during that time. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and react to any questions or requests and are always happy to help. My mother is
treated with dignity and respect and during our daily visits we always feel welcome. There are always plenty of activities taking place and the team work hard to include a variety of things to stimulate residents. Meals are well presented, a variety of options for breakfast and two choices of main course plus dessert for lunch and a selection of options for supper with morning coffee and afternoon tea with cakes/pastries. Any food preferences and special requests are always welcomed and accommodated. Freelands Croft has a lovely welcoming atmosphere from the manager, financial controller, receptionists to the care staff and managers, cleaners, laundry, catering staff etc.

This is a lovely building with superb facilities. Nice touches include displays on the wall, which are colourful and reflective. Loved the fact the doors to the bathrooms or loo are painted in a bright colour. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and the residents we saw seemed to be happy and

My wife has been well cared for here at this very comfortable home. My daughter and myself have an excellent understanding of my wife's care needs due to the outstanding service given by the staff. We can't see that much more could be done for my wife's comfort, and we thank all the staff for their

Freelands Croft Care Home is amazing, lovely staff, very clean, good parking, and great food. Staff are attentive and polite and they listen to the residents and family relatives. This care home definitely does not disappoint.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting, for the amount of money residents are paying to stay in the home the level of care and treatment is appalling. Would not recommend anyone to stay there. Residents are left screaming in their rooms or wandering the corridors naked. Would not recommend anyone to send
a loved one there if you care about them.

My wife has been in Freelands Croft Care Home for about 2 months now and I have found everyone treats not only the residents but visitors so well with a lot of respect at staff are always on hand to help. I think I would find it hard to find a better place for my wife to be a resident in .
