View Full Details of Ryeview Manor Care HomeMy dad was made extremely welcome from day 1. The staff have been fantastic at helping him settle in and stay happy, feel safe and content. They have also been instrumental in putting me and other family members/friends at ease, and providing regular updates on medical and everyday things. I feel so much more at ease knowing my dad is so well looked after and liked.
Would like to leave a review to mention the amazing work Hugo has done with my family. My man is find the decline of her husband very difficult and he has been an asking support system working with us to provide the best for a very loved granddad. He is very attentive and prioritised the best interests of my granddad upholding his dignity and respect to the highest level.
Generally my mother is well cared for. The staff are excellent- patient, kind and professional. Communication is good. Staffing levels are too low, particularly at the weekends, and there is a lack of activities.
My Dad moved into Ryeview Manor in April. He was very confused and could hardly walk on arrival; he has changed so much since then, more independent, less anxious and less falls. I am very grateful for everyone at the home who has paid their part in making the move to a care home so stress free for Dad and me too. He loves being out in the beautiful gardens and joins in the activities when he chooses to do so. I love visiting him. The atmosphere is so welcoming and caring.
Mum is well cared for and all of the staff are caring and helpful. The premises are always clean and cheerful and entertainment is provided with interaction encouraged. I am happy because mum is happy.
Ryeview has diligent and helpful staff who do a great job looking after the residents. I would like to give a special mention to Hugo and Hayley (Holly?) who are always especially helpful. The facilities and rooms are very good too.
Mum has been in Ryeview Manor since early June. We are very impressed with the care she gets, she has settled in very well. The staff are very helpful and always let me know how mum is doing and are always friendly. Her room is lovely and clean and opens outside to the courtyard, we have sat our there a few times and it is very peaceful and calm. Mum loves the food and they have a variety of different meals/snacks throughout the day. We visit mum weekly, which is great to be able to do and sometimes also pop in when we're passing, she is usually sat in the lounge watching TV or doing a puzzle or a sudoko. She seems very happy and calm and I would certainly recommend Ryview Manor, it has a warm, cheerful feeling to it and I know mum is now safe and well looked after.
My Mum has been a resident at Ryeview Manor for nearly 4 years and during that time she been cared for very well. All staff are very pleasant and helpful and keep me well informed on how she is doing.
My mum has been a resident here for 4 years and we are so grateful that she is in such a wonderful home. She has a lovely room, plenty of space and has built a lovely relationship with the fantastic carers and staff here, as well as the fellow residents. I am kept in the loop with regards to Mum's health and wellbeing, and everyone is so kind, understanding, thoughtful and caring. I know that Mum is safe, even when her mental health is wobbly, and I'm confident that the staff know her really well and notice the little signs when she is becoming less stable, and know what to do to look after her. Mum has a more active social life than she did at home, and she enjoys the activities and outings. She is always telling me what she's been up to. Ryeview have given the whole family a lifeline by being there for Mum, and have taken away a great deal of the stress we were under before she went into care. Thank you Ryeview.
Exceptional. All staff - carers, admin/ management, maintenance & cleaning - study resident info on families, lives, interests, etc to guide their discussions with residents, which is so personalised. People really care. Facilities are excellent, with 2 outdoor spaces, etc. It's so comforting that we chose the right place. Additional activities include visits to the owner's home & museums, picnic in the park, cheese & wine, etc. Highly recommended.
My mother has been a resident in the home for the past 3 years, and although her dementia has worsened we have been very happy with the care my mother is given by all the staff, their friendly, positive and compassion towards their clients is a great reassurance that my mother gets the best possible help and support.
My husband moved into the home for respite care and from the moment he arrived the staff treated him like part of the family and made both of us feel welcomed. They took the time to get to know him and kept me updated with things going on in the home. They made me feel listened to whenever I was feeling guilty and they made me realise that I was doing the right thing when I decided he would become a permanent resident. He settled very well and seems to be happy there. The staff always seem to have a smile on their face and are happy to help me out when I need it. The manager is approachable and never turns me away even when she is busy. The reception lady certainly brightens up the home with her hair colours and is always happy to chat. Overall the carers do an amazing job and I would be happy to recommend the home to anyone
I have my Mum in Ryview Manor. She has been in there for about four months now. From my first contact with them, the staff have been nothing but understanding and caring. From the staff member who I first talked to when I was first looking for care for my Mum, to all the floor staff, cleaners, up to nurse, to the Matron and the home manager. It is never easy to make the decision to put a loved one in to care but the staff here have made it a caring and pleasant experience. They have called if there is a problem with Mum and guided me through the practical solutions. They have offered a shoulder to cry on when I have needed it and reassured me that I am doing the right thing for both Mum and myself. There is a doctor who visits on a regular weekly round but is also available in between if required. Mum is now exercising more and seems to have settled in well making friends with both staff and other residents alike.
Mum couldn't have better care and attention. Her room is always spotless. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will always go the extra mile.
Since Mum moved into the home, she has "come alive". She has settled in well, and it has given me a chance to be her daughter again. The staff are very friendly and always have time to talk with me and make me feel welcome.
A lovely care home. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Any concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Residents appear to be comfortable in their surroundings. Plenty of activities if residents want ti be involved.
Ryeview is a very friendly home where the staff really care about my mother. She has lived there for a while now and feels very at home. The home has recently been redecorated, making it look very fresh.
The home is well presented and very clean. Lots of activities. Food could do with variation. The communication with families is poor we felt we were not always getting the whole story. Some staff are lovely and others were not so lovely. They are short-staffed on the floor my relative was on and you often didn't see a soul. I won't be recommending this care home.
Staff always helpful and listen to my requests when it comes to my husband. My husband's needs are always met and my concerns are always dealt with in a prompt and very professional manner. His room is always clean and tidy. No issues since he has been at the home.
Just visited a friend whom is a resident of the care home. He is clearly looked after very well indeed, the staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean. Thank you for looking after him, he is very happy.
