My mum moved into Garfield House in September 2025. Straight away the staff welcomed my mum into her new home. Different things going on from hair being done, manicure, exercises, sing a longs and trips out. The staff get invloved with all of the above. They all do a fantastic job. Whatever time of
day you go to Garfield House the staff are very visual and assertive. Thank you.

I am really satisfied and relaxed with the care being given to my mother.Staff is really trying their level best. The new manager at Garfield house is very professional and supportive.He has always shown tremendous respect, care and empathy.
I hope he will continue to deliver such a great service

I was very anxious when notified my mum needed long term care. Visited several homes feeling very dejected and upset at the thought of my mum living there. Then on recommendation visited Garfield House! A breath of fresh air!
My mum is happy and settled. All staff are amazing and so friendly. I
cannot rate Garfield House highly enough xx

The staff at Garfield are exceptional. They are caring and professional and are easy to engage with.
As a relative, I feel our mum is safe and cared for and that the staff have endeavoured to get to know my mum which has supported her settling into the home.

My mum has settled at Garfield House with ease thanks to the wonderful care,patience and kindness shown by all the fantastic staff and that includes everyone from the domestics to the management. They look after my mum fantastically making the transition from living with me to the awful realisation
I could no longer provide the level of care mum needed. She is very happy and that makes me happy.

Garfield Unit. All the staff are caring, compassionate and take time to get to know each resident and their individual needs and wishes. They go out of their way to tend to these needs and provide the best possible care. They provide a welcoming environment for families, taking time to get to know
them and keeping them updated regularly. A great team!

My husband is a permanent resident at Garfield House suffering from Parkinsons. I could not be happier with the care he receives. The staff are so patient with him and treat him with the utmost care and dignity. The catering staff go out of their way to provide food for a very picky patient. If ever
there is a problem I am informed immediately. Thank you to everyone.

My mother was in Garfield House for 5 years and the care, love and devotion she received was second to none, even when she passed away in November the staff were so helpful and even attended the funeral. I can not speak more highly of the home and staff. Everything about Garfield is superb.

Dad has been in Garfield for around 12 months now (give or take a day or two), and whilst he has advanced Alzheimer's and is unable to communicate very well, he is clearly content where he is. The staff are committed to their residents, compassionate, patient and dedicated. The only issue I have is
that there are too few of them on the unit. They are run ragged sometimes. I am reassured that Dad is in safe hands though.

I have found Garfield House at Carders Court to be a very welcoming care home from the outset. Mum is settling in well after a few weeks of respite care and is so happy there that she has decided to stay! Her room, and the accommodation in general, is bright and clean. The team of carers are
fantastic and really do go the extra mile to ensure that Mum is comfortable. All in all, I am very impressed and would happily recommend Garfield House at Carders Court.

My sister and I looked at nine care homes for respite for our mum. It was a really hard decision, and we didn't feel any of them were right. We had all but given up when I remembered a friend's dad being in Carders Court. I knew instantly this was the place for her - it's bright, clean, nice
smelling and wonderful, caring staff. Mum was initially there for just two weeks for respite but did so well and liked it so much she has stayed in on a full-time basis. We visit every day and can really recommend this home.

My brother seems happy in Garfield House, the nurses and carers are all really nice and helpful. They are quick to spot if there are any health issues and address them. There are activities he can choose to take part in and although he is unable to live independently any longer he is well looked
after.

Dad sadly was only there for a month but received excellent care. The care manager spent time with us, ensuring Dad got the best care he needed. All the staff were very friendly and well-trained in helping Dad with his needs.
What was most important to us was that he was treated with the utmost
dignity and respect right up to the end.
