I visited 5 to 6 days a week at various times. I was very involved with the case of my friend! The staff was very open to my requests and good dissusions were lead with the staff. I witnessed a fire drill and instruction from the fire brigade. Drinks were offered to visitors and sometimes even cake.
Discussions with the relief nurse were very welcome. I highly recommend Grove Park.

I have found all of the staff to be very friendly and attentive to my mothers needs. From nursing to entertainment I could not be happier. The communication between the manager and the reception desk very helpful. The recent upgrade regarding the security on entering and leaving the home is very
assuring.

My mum was not at Grove Park long because she was sadly dying when she arrived. The Manager is excellent and did everything i asked. She was very reassuring. It was clean and the staff were all friendly and it was good to see so many of them around. The food looked tasty and it was lovely to see the
residents having a movie afternoon with popcorn. My mum died peacefully and pain free because the staff reacted quickly and I am very grateful for this.

My sister has been at Grove Park for the past 3 years. She has been very happy living here. There are times when she feels frustrated and angry and is difficult but the wonderful staff always manages to diffuse the situation very quickly. She enjoys being with the other residents and occasionally
participates with the daily activities.

I am very pleased with the care my wife receives at the home, she has been a resident for 9 months and seems much calmer and happier now than she was previously at the hospital she was in for about 3 months before being admitted to your home and another care home she was in for 6 weeks respite care
late 2023.
The facilities are good, the home and her room are kept clean, she likes the food and the carers seem to spend a lot of time with her, often found sitting with her in her room when I visit. The nurses also seem to keep on top of her diabetes which is reassuring, they didn't seem to at the previous care home residence.
My grandmother, mother and two of my wife's siblings all had Alzheimer's and spent time in nursing homes and I can honestly say your home is much better in many ways, partly because it is a purpose built home not a converted house but mainly because of the kindness of your staff.

Staff are very welcoming, my Nan is always comfortable, clean and well looked after.
The food is of a high standard and my Nan always enjoys what's on offer.
Her room is of a very good standard however it could be cleaned more often especially in the more difficult to reach areas.
I feel my
nan is safe in this environment, with lots of staff who are always visible and available to help.
My nan recently had her 99th Birthday, the home kindly allowed us as a family to use the dining area for a small gathering and made her a lovely birthday cake.

Overall my mother is happy with the care home. She has become more outgoing and is settled in her routine.
The staff are all very approachable/ friendly. Mostly the food is well presented and varied.
All my mothers needs are catered for, as a family member it is brilliant that I can visit at
any time and feel comfortable that she is in safe hands.

My husband went into Grove Park as they said nursing caring would be offered. There were issues from the start to do with him not being supported with eating, subsequently weight loss. He was often cold and inadequately dressed, despite requesting he needed more layers. In November he got a stomach
upset but I wasn't informed. The resulting lack of care had him ending up in hospital with severe dehydration and hypo delirium. He died a few days later. At no time did any of the managers telephone to ask how he was. One of the nurses didn't even know he'd died when his things were collected. The place is poorly managed, doesn't have enough experienced staff, the issue of English as a second language and often not being understood or understanding is a problem as well. They took him in saying they could take care of him and my experience is that definitely wasn't the case. I certainly would not recommend this place.

My mother-in-law has been at Grove Park for over two years now. She has severe dementia, is bed-bound and requires 24/7 attention. Everyone from the security guards, the food delivery guys, the nursing staff and the admin staff have been absolutely incredible with her and us. Mum has had several
trips to the hospital due to her advanced state, breathing problems etc and they have always been spectacularly caring. Also for my father-in-law who is 93 and is hard for him to hear and walk, they are always looking after him when he comes and visits her. Me and my husband cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done for her. Thank you all.

I appreciated the staff's patience in helping my husband to recover from a trying hospital experience. We always found a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. He left here much improved.

Without exception, all staff were caring, attentive and professional. They were all aware of my mother's name, room number and needs and provided the medical and personal care she required. They also went above and beyond by supporting my father during this difficult and stressful time. The building
and furniture are new, in good condition and of good quality. The grounds are conclusive to a comfortable and healing environment.

My stay at Grove Park was prolonged due to 'care plan' difficulties. I found the staff excellent, friendly and efficient across the board. I was surprised to discover that many were experienced and qualified nurses in their own country of origin, but were denied this status in the UK. I feel that
in-service training would help them to achieve this and acknowledge their expertise! Meals were variable and usually cold.

My husband has Alzheimer's, I had a stay in the hospital recently, as he can't stay at home alone we had to find him care. He has been well looked after and quite happy at Grove Park Healthcare. The staff are kind and caring, making him welcome and at home. Would not hesitate to recommend the care
given, and also to return in future if necessary.

My mother moved here six weeks ago but unfortunately passed away last weekend. During the last eight days of her life, she was made comfortable but we did have some problems with her pain relief and I actually had to go and get her some. There were also some issues with some communication problems
between staff members. There are some amazing nurses and senior nurses there. I do feel some staff should have end-of-life training and there were at times issues with staff not understanding our situation.
10 May 2023
My mum went into Grove Part Care Home following three weeks in hospital. She needed to be rehabilitated while waiting for a care package, spending around eight weeks here. During this time, she was very well looked after, the carers were kind, compassionate, patient and understanding in all her
needs. She regained the ability to walk by herself with a walker, to be able to use the toilet once more and do general things again.
Mum enjoyed being able to eat cooked meals in the community dining area, this really encouraged her to eat more! She was encouraged to sit in the community lounge where carers would often spend time with her.
