My father has been a resident at Holly House since May 2022. This review is to cover his stay since then as I've just become aware that there are no reviews for Holly House. The care offered throughout his residence has been excellent, it is personalised and provided with empathy and kindness by all
staff. As his needs have changed they have been assessed and strategies put in place to support him. The staff focus not only on his physical and mental requirements but also his emotional and social ones too. The activities coordinator constantly looks for new stimuli for the residents, whether that is bringing therapy ponies in or spending time with residents sharing memories and stories. The management team are always approachable, and any issues we have raised have been listened to and talked over with us as a family. The atmosphere in the home is always one of cheerfulness and kindness. We are lucky to have found this home for him.
