I cannot praise Meadowhill care home enough. Since her arrival at Meadowhill my mother in law has received the very best of care from every member of staff. Nothing is too much trouble. All her needs both medical and personal are catered for. When we visit her every member of staff is so friendly
and always greets us and is on hand to answer any queries we have, they are wonderful. The home itself is very well equipped for every need and is very beautifully decorated throughout and extremely clean. If you are considering a care home for a relative I believe you would find it difficult to find one better than Meadowhill.

This wonderful home is looking after my dad in a way that I could not fault. They are professional, caring and friendly and have made him feel so at home. I dreaded sending him to a Care Home but Meadowhill was certainly a home away from home and in the 3 months that he has been there he has settled
in and adjusted wonderfully. The care his is receiving is far above anything we could have done for him at home, and I am so grateful to Kate and the team for making this smooth transition possible. I live abroad and the daily Facebook updates keep my heart at rest as I see him engaging in the activities. Thank you Meadowhill & staff you are very close to my heart

The first impressions are very favourable and the potential of the home is great. However given the limited number of residents currently, it is not possible to optimising the potential of the home which will be achieved, when more residents arrive. A good start but with a few teething problems. The
management team are very cooperative and wish as we do all the best for the benefit of the home and the residents.

First views are impressive and there is certainly scope for the care home to be excellent once it is fully staffed and up and running. There are a few teething problems as the home is not adequality staffed at present. The management are very helpful and responsive and we wish the home well as it
goes from strength to strength.

Meadowhill is a brand new purpose-built care home, and it's clear everything has been very well thought out & planned for. Our Grandma has now been a resident here for 3 months, and it's such a relief to know she's being so well cared for. The accommodation & facilities are wonderful & the catering
by the in-house chef is amazing! We were lucky enough to enjoy a meal here recently and it's clear to see why our Grandma is finally enjoying & actually looking forward to meals again. We're also delighted to see how much she seems to be enjoying the various activities available. All the staff we've met - administrators, carers, nurses & ancillary staff - have been helpful, caring and thoroughly professional, and have been a huge comfort to us as a family in what has been a difficult time. We're truly grateful that our Grandma now has a permanent home at Meadowhill & wouldn't hesitate to recommend their exceptional home to anyone in need of residential, dementia &/or nursing care.

Found all staff to be kind and considerate.
Have an understanding of the difficulties that arise for the individual and their carer.
Nothing seemed too much trouble.
As this is a fairly new facility everything was up to date.

Meadow Hill is more like a hotel with nursing rather than an ordinary care home. The staff are really helpful and welcoming as well as being totally professional. They have taken a huge load off my problems and I cannot imagine a better place for my partner.

My mum was in the new Meadowhill Care Home in Borehamwood for one week respite. She had a wonderful stay with excellent care. It really felt she was on holiday in a 5 star hotel, the facilities are exceptional & full marks to the Chef, she enjoyed every meal served.
All staff were so friendly,
professional, caring & kind & couldn't have done any more for her. She felt like a VIP.
Mum really did have a wonderful week & would certainly return in the future.

What an amazing place Meadowhill is! The staff are all so lovely - kind, caring and competent; we as a family know that our mum is being looked after at all times in the most gorgeous setting. Nothing has been too much trouble and our daily visits to see her are a pleasure. Thank you to everyone at

Choosing a Care home can be extremely challenging and stressful, for respite for our beloved mum, choosing Meadow Hill from the start was so positive. The staff understood our concerns, and assessed our mum, compatibility for the stay, which was a home visit and health check, then a visit to their
beautiful care home, which has all the facilities, to ensure a full around the clock support, nothing was any problem and once settled in we could call to check the progress of how mum was doing, always positive, friendly. Mum was happy and looked well, and had bonded with all the staff, and we witnessed the genuine care and love. Our family would like to thank all the staff for love and care they showed our mum during her stay and we will be using them again in a couple of months time.

Mum stayed for one week and was extremely happy , staff were amazing and food was excellent , she was very well looked after
All her needs were met , mum needs to be kept busy all the time and the staff really kept her busy . We hope to be returning again very soon and when mum has sold her flat
she will hopefully move in permanently

Thoroughly recommend this care home. It is all brand new and very luxuriously decorated and comfortable. My mum has received first class care and attention. Great communication from staff.
Due to the fact that it is newly opened and not at full capacity, there currently are not many activities as
not enough people to participate in group sessions yet hence only the 3 star rating at the moment.

The Carehome has only recently been opened and is built to a very high standard with every amenity catered for along with some unique assets, such an orangery and a cinema.
My father was fortunate enough to stay here for respite care and was treated like a VIP throughout his stay. The process of
making sure his stay was going to be a pleasant one was spotless, along with the reception he had when he arrived, made his stay welcoming right from the start.
Each day has a different meaning to him that he recounts, telling stories of how enjoyed the varying activities, the pleasant conversations (and the occasional laugh) with everyone there. He will deffinately be going back.
The building may be new and clean, with all the amities you could wish for, but it's the people that make it work. The manager has managed to put together the crème de la crème of staff. Each person working there are friendly, efficient and dedicated to making the stay an enjoyable one.
Well done Meadowhill.

Not only is Meadowhill a stunning home, the care from the nurses and carers is outstanding. Everyone has been so kind to our mum and look after her every need. When the time comes when a parent needs 24/7 care it's a huge decision to make. We looked at many homes but as soon as we visited
Meadowhill we knew it was the right one. The team were great and very supportive. Thank you to everyone at Meadowhill for taking such good care of mum.
