My relative moved into Nesbit House during October 2025. They have settled well due to the dedication and help of all the staff. The home has a constant happy and friendly atmosphere. The weekly outings to local attractions and internal activities are organised to a high standard. Within the past
week my relative became unwell during the night. The first contact from the staff was excellent, the following morning a full medical care plan had been implemented by the home, GP and ambulance service. The service provided was very reassuring.

We feel very happy that Betty is at Nesbit House. She is well looked after and gets the care she needs for a 99 year old lady. On the few occasions we have visited at the weekend, some of the homemakers/carers do not appear as interested in their job as they might.

I have been very impressed with the overall care and attention provided at this home. In particular, the catering team deserves special recognition - the meals are consistently delicious, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared to meet residents' individual needs. The staff are not only friendly and
approachable but clearly take pride in their work, making mealtimes a real highlight of the day. Combined with the excellent care, welcoming environment, and attentive support from all staff, this home provides a genuinely warm and nurturing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate care and outstanding catering.

Re Sunday 13th July 2925 (Wimbledon finals!)
Mum moved into Nesbit this year and Sunday 13/7 was her 96th birthday.
Our family reserved the private dining room/patio, so we could all gather to celebrate mum's special day.
Together with head chef, Aniel, we agreed on a menu/BBQ/wine&beer, for 20
persons. As the sun was shining, the tables were beautifully laid outside (with umbrellas) and the BBQ and salads were absolutely delicious. As it was Wimbledon, Aneil of course, provided strawberries & cream (mums favorite) and we all had a great time. Thoroughly recommend the private dining option-thank you to all who made Mums birthday very special.

I would like to say a big thank you to the team at Nesbit House Care Home for making our first Christmas with mum in a care home a really lovely experience. My family were all a little apprehensive about this time of the year and how we would make this festive session special for our Mum but thanks
to the head chef and he's team we were able to relax and enjoy making some special memories with Mum.
We were a party of 9 and one small dog, all staff serving and supporting us for the afternoon were very attentive and made us feel very comfortable. The food was amazing and our private room was beautifully decorated and looked very Christmassy.
Thank you to everyone for making our Christmas Day so very special.

Nesbit House has friendly and caring staff who take a genuine interest in the residents and their happiness and welfare. I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the company of my father and the residents recently, attending the visiting entertainment (a most excellent singer) and participating in
a fun "hard" quiz. I also had the opportunity to join them at lunch in the dining room on three occasions where the portion sizes were good, the choices varied and the quality as I would have anticipated for a care home like this.
The highlight, however, was a superb lunch in the private dining room for my father, brother and me. We had been invited to express our menu preferences and Head Chef Aneil and his team created, cooked and served a most delicious lunch, much as I would expect in a top restaurant, along with a selection of wine. An excellent spread!

All the staff have always been polite and efficient from initial interview up until the present day, always keeping us up to date and nothing is too much trouble.

It's the most difficult decision - placing your husband into care. The moment I stepped into Nesbit House I knew it would be the perfect place for us. From the Management team to all the homemakers and Nursing staff, I felt confident this would be the right fit. The home is bright and airy and
very comfortable. There are plenty of places to enjoy a visit. The homemakers are compassionate and take the time to get to know you. They are supportive, engage with residents, care for them with professionalism and empathy. In the few months that my husband has been here I have experienced first hand the vocational nature and skills that the Nursing team display. They are impressive and very responsive as issues arise. The Catering team are far superior to anything we expected. From three course lunches, to home baked cakes and snacks on demand. So many work behind the scenes; a family taking care of our families. It's a place where should circumstances dictate, I would be happy.

From my first introduction to Nesbit House I felt safe and heard. It was at a very difficult time tryign to place my father from hospital. The lady was very reassuring and has spent many hours continuing to reassure me. Both my parents are now residents and are happy and settled. I have visited many
care homes as a professional nurse and none have the expertise like Nesbit do.

I am always impressed by the smart yet informed atmosphere of Nesbit House. It is always clean, yet there is an air of informality that immediately puts everyone at ease. But an institution is only as good as the people who work there, and the care of Nestbit House the staff that I have encountered
are exemplary. They are always smart but casual (the decision not to wear uniform) and most of all they treat the residents with respect and care. Long may it continue.

I was dreading selecting a care home for my wife but not at all. I was sent details of Nesbit House and was so surprised how perfect it was on my visit and accepted straight away without seeing any others. Everything about the home is perfect and my wife couldn't be more comfortable and looked after
by the caring homemakers and other staff. I would urge others to consider Nesbit House for themselves.

Having just visited my mother, I found her in good spirits, clean, tidy, well-fed with drinks to hand, happy and feeling safe. She was not well yesterday, and an ambulance crew attended. All is well. The nurses kept me fully informed at every stage. The home and all the staff, from management to
carers, have been exceptional. Always smiling and happy to help and discuss mom. Thank you.
13 January 2025
My mum was reluctant to enter a care home but declining health meant it had to happen. Nesbits welcomed her, gave her a room which suited her needs (ie: to be closer to people and not the end of the corridor). They are superb, from the admin home makers, nursing and chefs. The home is always clean
and tidy. The facilities and entertainment are first class. All I can say is thank you. Nesbits is a really lovely place.

It's taken me a whole year to reflect and write this review. I'll keep it factual and honest.
My loved one was in the care of Nesbit House and initially we were also wowed by the plush facilities and exterior. A few months in there was a serious incident at the home and the response that followed
from the management team was horrific. Playground bullying, bare face lying and blackmail tactics were used against me and my family. When the hospital issued a safeguarding complaint against the home our slot in the home was withdrawn (despite receiving a voicemail 24 hours earlier saying there were no issues with extending care). Effectively making a 98 year old homeless. Please please be careful when choosing for your loved one.
On a positive note I cannot fault the junior staff who were genuinely lovely people who cared, so thank you to all of those, we didn't get the chance to thank.

I visited a close friend who transferred from hospital and is on palliative care with short life expectancy.
Group of family and friends visited lunchtime for a party. Food and drinks were provided (without charge). All staff caring and friendly.
Everywhere spotlessly clean and room light and
airy.
Whem and if I reach the stage of needing a care home, Nesbit House would be my first choice.

My father has been living at the care home for the past 18 months and he is very well taken care of. He especially enjoys the food. Recently, we had the pleasure of experiencing the cooking firsthand when we were invited to a family dining experience with my dad. The three-course meal was expertly
prepared and served, making it a truly wonderful experience. A big thank you to everyone involved!

09 August 2024
I was there to recuperate after a period in hospital. The first thing I noticed was how warm and genuinely friendly everyone was. I was extremely well looked after by all the staff, many of whom gave me extra, personal and very thoughtful care and attention. The accommodation, facilities and decor
are of a very high standard. Everywhere was very clean. The food was very good and sufficient for my needs. My visitors were also made very welcome. The setting, garden and views are lovely. It is a peaceful home.

My mum has been here some months and has settled in well. I know she is being well looked after which is a great weight off my mind. Very happy.
18 June 2024
This month the maintenance officer and wellbeing coach organised a celebration of International Nurses' Day. My mother (a retired nurse) was made to feel very special and truly appreciated the acknowledgement of her years of commitment and passion to the NHS - once a nurse, always a nurse! On one
occasion, I overheard one of the carers/homemakers saying that it was an honour to care for a fellow nurse. Such kind gestures mean so much to my mother and her family - thank you.
