Staff very helpful and approachable. Information sent to us via emails to keep us informed of activities etc. Good choice of food. We feel confident parents are being looked after and cared for. Lovely friendly feel when you enter Uplands.

My father in law was admitted in April, as a family we have been blown away, Colin is on a blended diet, and staff have gone up and beyond, Colin was in hospital for 9 weeks, 7 of them he didn't eat. As they couldn't meet his needs. Colin had only been here a week and the home had picked up that he
was on Thickener which he shouldn't have been. Staff are amazing, kind and caring couldn't ask for more.

My first impression of Upland Manor was amazement. Bright, airy and eyecatching - Not one single member of the team ignored our presence - we were greeted with a smile and a hello - very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble - the reception area is a beautiful hub to take time out, have
a coffee and a breather. Visitors are taken care of as much as the residents. The bedrooms are styled and designed to perfection - its a beautiful place with beautiful attentive people. The care is outstanding - the staff are appreciated and it shows.

Grandma has been made to feel at home and welcome by all members of staff. They cater for every need respectfully whilst maintaining her dignity. The family atmosphere is refreshing and I would recommend Upland Manor to anyone who wants a home from home feel. The staff are fantastic and a real

We're so grateful to have found Upland Manor Care Home for my mother-in-law. From the moment she arrived, the team made her feel genuinely welcome and supported, which made a huge difference during what could have been a very difficult transition.
The staff are kind, patient, and clearly dedicated
to the residents' wellbeing. They've taken the time to get to know her as a person - her preferences, her routines, and the little things that help her feel comfortable and at home. It's reassuring to see her treated with such dignity and warmth.
The home itself is clean, , and thoughtfully maintained, with a lovely atmosphere that feels more like a home than a facility. There are always activities and opportunities for residents to stay engaged, which we really appreciate.
Most importantly, we've already noticed a positive change in her mood and overall wellbeing. Knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by compassionate people gives our whole family peace of mind.

My mum is happily now living in the care home .she went in on respite care and was so well looked after she has decided to make it her new home . Upland is a wonderful home with lovely staff and the young lady who is in charge of well being I think her name bekka is such a lovely caring person my
mum loves her .The management team are so approachable and we're very accommodating when we asked for a few changes too mums room
As a family we are so happy my mum now feels safe and cared for by the upland team
Oh forgot to mention the home is like a five star hotel

Uplands Manor is a fabulous home, it's decorated to the standard of a 5* hotel, whilst still having a warm & welcoming feel.
The staff are exceptionally professional & friendly, nothing is too much trouble & they have all made my mum feel comfortable, safe & happy.
They encourage independent
living and offer lots of social activities to encourage engagement which has kept mum busy & entertained. She always has a story to tell us. My Mum went to Uplands manor for two weeks respite & is now a permanent happy resident.
We could not be happier that she is settled, safe & enjoying her best life.
I can't recommend this care home highly enough & feel very lucky to have found this amazing home.

All staff at Upland Manor are caring and supportive to mum, from cleaning, catering, admin, nursing, and Becca who is excellent at engaging the residents in activities. Management are very approachable and listen to residents and families concerns and are supportive. Beautiful surroundings.

Upland Manor has been a breath of fresh air when I think back to my previous experiences of care homes. It has been a wonderful experience since we first enquired and whilst the facilities are incredible, the staff are what make it exceptional. I wouldn't want my grandma anywhere else!

The home is beautiful and a home away from home. I feel safe and very well cared for here. The food is lovley, and served in a lovely dining room. I enjoy the activities when I want but don't feel forced into things. Overall I am happy with the care I receive.

This is truly one of the most amazing places, and we feel so fortunate that our 94-year-old father is here. Every member of staff is incredible-so caring, compassionate, and always happy to stop for a chat.
The first carer we met was Adele, and from that moment we knew we had made the right
decision. She was warm, welcoming, and absolutely wonderful with our dad. As we gradually met the rest of the team, we were overwhelmed by the kindness and dedication shown by everyone.

We need not have worried! He's settled in a treat and made friends with other residents. Staff are great and the facilities are fab. His favourite parts are the food and the company! oh! and that charlie the dog can visit!

My parents moved into Uplands Manor last month and we are very impressed with the kindness of the staff and the care shown to our parents. From the first day we visited we were very impressed with the setting which is like a five star hotel! Nothing is too much trouble and we are now able to
relax knowing they are in safe hands. Mum loves the food and she is so much happier since moving in. I would highly recommend Uplands Manor.

My mum came here after being in a previous care home and the difference is like night and day . This home is amazing from the facilities to the staff .
They are all so caring and kind and nothing is too much trouble .all my mums care needs are catered for and she is so happy here and feels safe.
The food is amazing nutritious and freshly cooked.
I can't recommend upland manor enough I go home feeling assured my mum is well taken care of

Mum moved into Upland Manor after suffering several falls due to her vascular dementia
Her health deteriorated after spending three weeks in hospital and we were very concerned about her recovery
Upland Manor was the home we chose after extensive reviewing of lots of homes
Within a few days of
being at UM we saw improvements in both her physical and mental health
The home is luxurious and extremely well equipped to deal with elderly residents but it is the staff that makes the place stand head and shoulders above everything else we viewed
Mums care was exemplary from day one
The staff could not do enough to make her feel safe welcome and at home
This was not just a front because we were there but something they did normally as we all noticed the care they were showing to other residents whom family were not present
As a family we can not recommend Upland Manor enough
Placing someone you love into residential care is never easy but we all feel that mum is in a wonderful home
