Mum moved into Upland Manor after suffering several falls due to her vascular dementia Her health deteriorated after spending three weeks in hospital and we were very concerned about her recovery Upland Manor was the home we chose after extensive reviewing of lots of homes Within a few days of being at UM we saw improvements in both her physical and mental health The home is luxurious and extremely well equipped to deal with elderly residents but it is the staff that makes the place stand head and shoulders above everything else we viewed Mums care was exemplary from day one The staff could not do enough to make her feel safe welcome and at home This was not just a front because we were there but something they did normally as we all noticed the care they were showing to other residents whom family were not present As a family we can not recommend Upland Manor enough Placing someone you love into residential care is never easy but we all feel that mum is in a wonderful home

Very well staffed, excellent staff, warm welcome every day. Extremely clean. Finally the food is second to none. Myself and my partner looked at a few homes this was by far the best.

I love that my nana is being looked after so well by the wonderful staff and that her home is so clean and wonderful. She looks happier and healthier than she has in a long while. The staff seem to genuinely care which is wonderful to see.

What an absolutely amazing care home. Not only is the decor and food 5* the staff are also 5* they really do care and look after the residents like they are their own family members. My nana came from a previous care home where basic needs weren't being met but upland manor go above and beyond for their residents and really do genuinely care. My nana is so happy here and I honestly can't write enough praise for this care home and staff. Thank you for looking after my nana

My mum became a resident on the 5/11/25. The home is like a 5 star hotel she has her own room with a big TV, a wet room and plenty of cupboard space. They have a beautiful dinning room with 5 star 3 course meals. The staff are all lovely kind and very caring, always ready to help the residents and family members. Every member of staff from management the the cleaners are so thoughtful. My mum is so happy here, as are all her family members. It's the kind of place every elderly person deserves if they need a care home.
